This was the first time we dined at the Garden City location. Our experience was beyond excellent! From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with courteous hello and warm smiles by the hosts. We were seated accordingly, at reservation I told them it was for a birthday so they decorated the table beautifully with confetti and a birthday card. The birthday person was very impressed. The quality of all the food we ordered was exceptional! The servers, Nick and Terry, provided excellent service. We asked to have them added to our profile as being our requested servers going forward. This won't be our last time dining here. My husband and I are already planning our next visit.

My sons birthday request was to dine at Capital Grille in Garden City NY. We were taken immediately upon arrival and Turon was our server. We began with the Seafood Tower which was complete with lobster, oysters, clams and shrimp. Next we enjoyed the fried calamari, mozzarella and prosciutto and the baby lamb chop special. Everything was excellent. Our next course was the onion soup topped with its generous cheese! Our entrees were salmon, and filets mignons with sides of Sam's mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts with bacon, and creamed spinach. Our feast ended with cheese cake and fresh fruit berries as well as the flourless chocolate cake. Turon met our every need and anticipated most of them thank goodness! Thank you to Capital Grille for a memorable birthday dinner and for our most professional and skilled servers!

Met with a client and his attorney for a lunch meeting. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I had the French Onion soup, which was very tasty, and the Ribeye sandwich with fries. The steak was extremely tender, and delicious. For dessert, I had the cheesecake with berries - out of this world. While I blew through my calorie count for the entire day with this one meal, it was well worth it!

The food and service are always great, but last night's visit was exceptional. Our usual waiter was not available, so we were assigned to Turon. I thought no one could compare to our usual waiter's attentiveness and service, but, Turon nailed it! He catered to our every desire with a smile, and I can be very particular. We partook of The Generous Pour and he was always ready to pour us more wine. Our filet mignons were cooked to perfection and the added South African 5 oz. lobster tail was phenomenal for $35 with any steak. It, too, was cooked to perfection. It was a memorable night to add to all of the other visits to The Capital Grille. Kudos to all.

The drink was terrible. We waited for about 45 minutes for our steaks. And then mine was undercooked. And to top it off they didn’t do anything to compensate on the bill which really annoyed me. Wouldn’t complain if they had done that. It wasn’t one thing wrong, it was three. This is not typical of the capital grille and it was very disappointing

we enjoyed our dinner very much. Excellent quality of meat and the side dishes were also excellent. The service was very professional - food came out quickly but not too quickly. Enough time to relax between courses and drinks. We definitely will be returning.

It was another fantastic birthday celebration with the generous pour and a tremendously delicious dining experience. We began with the Nueske's cherrywood smoked bacon with Korean BBQ and proscuitto wrapped mozzarella. The bacon paired perfectly with the initial wine selection from the generous pour. We followed with a a NY strip and twin lobster tails that were both cooked to perfection and mouthwatering accompanied by the grilled asparagus misto and smashed potatoes. A bountiful amount in each aspect and enough to take home for a delicious second round. We look forward to our next visit and 2 thumbs up for the service throughout the evening.
