Great service , great food and yes as skeptical as I was to compare their steak to Bob’s on Lemmon, they rockeD the fillet- perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked , it was fabulous even without Bob’s iconic carrot
As per the usual, the food and service was flawless! And, as always, Steven's attention to detail was impeccable!!!
The filet was delicious.
wine list on iPad is clunky
My wife’s Birthday was excellent! Thanks so much to capital grill!
The food was amazing and our waiter was very nice. I will definitely visit this restaurant again
A very nice evening. Many, many compliments to our Server, Claire Nalley, who was excellent.
Well informed about the menu and went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely evening.
Jamil was an exceptional representative of the CG brand. Top notch!
........as always, Outstanding. You can never go wrong going toe Capiatl Grill.
Capital Grill is always 5 Star! Steaks, drinks, service is top notch. Please bring back the Del Monico RibEye!
Wonderful spot. Wonderful food. Wonderful service.
The food prices are all in line with other top line steak houses along with the wine.
I will say I thought the bar prices from a standard mixed drink to a "glass" of
champagne was OVER THE TOP. Its a really wonderful place, expensive but to be
expected and the service is great.
Celebrated a late Valentine's dinner there (on a Sunday night) and it was perfect. We were seated in a cozy booth in the back corner of the restaurant and had that area to ourselves, so the experience was intimate and just right; uncrowded and more quiet than the main dining room. Our waitress Vilena was warm and very accommodating (helped us by adjusting table lighting and finding us just the right booth), as well as suggesting some great dinner and drink selections. And, we were treated to a complimentary, surprise champagne toast. :-)
We have celebrated many special occasions at The Capital Grille, and it remains our favorite restaurant due to their great food and warm, accommodating hospitality.
Always a great place for a business lunch.
Great service and food. Only thing though, if you want a booth you have to say so in your reservation. Learned the hard way...
It was good
We love the Capital Grille and dine at various of their locations several times per year. This time we went for my husband's birthday which is the weekend after Valentine's day. While our experience was "ok", it was certainly not up to Capital Grille standards. The restaurant was packed, understandably. Typically for any special occasion, the CG will sprinkle confetti, have a signed card, and take a photo presented in a nice cardstock frame. None of those things happened with this visit, and I made note (as I always do) on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. The waiter was friendly, but took about 10-15 minutes before he came to our table. The food was good, as usual, and the waiter recommended a nice wine to go with our meal and suggested some vegan options for our daughter. (Note to CG, please offer a few more vegan options!). Service was good, but slow (again, busy night). Also CG used to hand "write" more personalized birthday/anniversary greetings in chocolate on your dessert plate. The last couple of times we were celebrating, they had the greeting written in a pre fab chocolate stencil on the plate. Yes, it checks the box, but super cheap looking. Even with a modest $90 bottle of wine, our tab was close to $400 with tip. Will we keep coming here? Yes, but we will definitely go to local faves like Nick & Sam's, Al Biernat's, Perry's and Javier's first.
Fabulous, as usual!
Was an absolute hit! They read all of my requests on Opentable and obliged. Definitely will recommend for another group gathering!
Table was smack in the middle facing the kitchen... Didn’t care for that but the food was good... a bit pricey for the portions. The wine selection was okey, though pricey!
I must start off by saying that the service was excellent! I was just disappointed in the food. Started with the wedge salad which uses good bacon, but I was not crazy about the blue cheese dressing. Had the porcini rubbed Bone in ribeye with aged balsamic. I thought it was too sweet, probably would have been happier if I went with the regular bone in ribeye. Had the lobster mac and cheese and potatoes au gratin. Mac and cheese was good, but I thought the potatoes could have been cooked a little longer to make them a little more crunchy. I had a great bottle of Honig Cabernet which I thought it was a great value at $63. I will go again, but I will definitely go with a more traditional steak.
From the valet to our waiter, the staff treated us like royalty! The food was awesome as always. We were celebrating Valentine’s Day, so the restaurant decorated the table with red hearts and a single long stemmed rose...super special. At the end of our meal they brought us chocolate dipped strawberries - perfect! These are the reasons this is my favorite restaurant!!!
Outstanding service. The food was excellent.
The food was amazing. The service was great. Never felt rushed.
Felipe Lunardi continues to impress me each and every time we dine at The Capital Grille. He always goes above and beyond to insure our experience is a wonderful one. The food is the best of the best and there is no other steakhouse that compares. It is leaps and bounds above its competition and the service is exceptional. I feel special every time I dine there and Felipe always has some sort of special touch that wows me no matter what we are dining there for. Keep it up!
Claire our waitress was excellent food was very good,
We were celebrating Valentine's Day, and we went with the waiter's recommendation to try the Porcini Rub but on the bone-in filet instead of the rib eye. It was amazing and perfectly paired with the Au Gratin Potatoes. If you go, you MUST try the Coconut Creme Pie. It's one of the best desserts that I've ever had.
The food and service were great at Capital Grille in Dallas (near downtown).
The food was hot, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The waiter was great. The staff is very professional, friendly and polite.
We were in town for a basketball game, and made a dinner reservation. We got to the restaurant about 30 minutes early. The hostess was able to seat us early.
Great atmosphere and experience. I plan to eat again at this restaurant when I am in Dallas.
A great place!!!
A special event and the staff went out of their way to make it a great evening for our family. Steaks were exceptional as always, pooched lobster tails served with the filet were a little disappointing, too much fluid and the texture of the lobster was lost in the cooking process. Had several sides, the Lobster Mac and Cheese was more cheese than lobster.
Excellent restaurant for a business lunch; Filet Wedge is outstanding.
High level of noise. Made it difficult to visit at a round table of 8. Great food. Very good service. Will return soon.
Amazing service with Ashley. We will ask fir her next time we eat at Capital Grille. Especially loved the crab&lobster cakes!
We celebrated my parents 48th wedding anniversary and it was spectacular. Our waiter was magnificent! Thank you for making my parents anniversary a truly memorable experience!
Excellent quality of meats and preparations. Upscale and worth it.
It's always nice here
Great service by Carly our waitress
Excellent food and even better service, as always!
Great food as always. Birthday dinner for our friends from Houston. Excellent service and special birthday desserts were special.
Steaks were great as well as sides and coconut cream pie.. fantastic!!
Most consistent steakhouse in Dallas!!
