Enjoyed the Easter brunch holiday.

First and foremost, after the year of quarantine that we've had and businesses slowly reopening, my wife was celebrating a birthday and since last year we didn't go anywhere, we decided to go out to dinner.

Normally I'm in charge of finding the RIGHT place to go to and after weeks of reading reviews and seeing hundreds of photos, The Capital Grille really stood out for me. This was a new place for us and steak was highly recommended which is exactly what we were looking for. Between the amazing service from our waiter, Michael Muñoz, who went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was more than just dinner to the magnificent steaks that were cooked to perfection. Hats off to the bartender for the delicious In Fashion and Blackberry Bourbon Sidecar cocktails that we enjoyed.

Now for the main course! I ordered a Porcini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye (cooked medium) and let me clear when I say that this is by far the BEST Ribeye I've ever had. The 15-year age balsamic was the key! Now the birthday girl (my wife) ordered Sliced Filet Mignon that was prepared medium well and she was head over heels in love with the way it looked, smelled and most importantly, the TASTE! The cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and the amazing fig essence was a steak that simply couldn't be compared to others. We accompanied these masterful steaks with some fluffy Sam's Mashed Potatoes along with Grilled Asparagus. SABROSO!!

Michael, our host for the evening, ended the evening with a complimentary birthday dessert that blew our minds away. From the smooth to mouthwatering The Capital Grille Cheesecake (brûlée style with fresh berries) that my wife devoured to the rich and very delicious Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake.

OpenTable doesn't give us the opportunity to give a 10 star review but that's how both of us walked away from this place. We'll definitely be planning a future date night!!

This place is amazing!!! Every aspect of our dining experience was more than I could ever thank anyone for. Chef Brandon came out to our table and explained a few of the dishes to us, Matt happened to swing by and he was so kind and hospitable, Tim took great care of us. We cannot wait to dine again on our next trip :)

The food was excellent. Our waitress Lindsey was amazing & her menu recommendations were also great.

Having been vaccinated we were looking forward to a luncheon birthday celebration. We had not eaten out in over a year until last week,eating at one of our old time favorites, what a disappointment that was. With that experience still fresh in our minds we were anxious about what our second dining experience would be like. Thank goodness our fears were almost immediately allayed. We were celebrating a birthday, so upon our arrival and being seated at our decorated table we were offered celebratory champagne, what a way to start a lunch. Our waiter, Derrick, then began to reel off a long list of specials, too numerous to mention, all sounding delicious but too many to remember(a separate menu with prices would be helpful, my only complaint) We ordered our favorites, starting with the onion soup, OMG. We split a burger and enjoyed the fries and everything was just as we remembered if not better. Fully sated, while awaiting our check we were pleasantly surprised with a birthday dessert platter. Kudos to Derrick and the Capital Grille for a most enjoyable experience and we can’t wait to go back and eat the rest of our favorites and try some of those delicious specials

I had a ME DAY ..and everything was absolutely perfect! The service ambiance atmosphere was superb! My waiter Eugene Kim was courteous exceptional and was confident in his suggestions. Some waiters will just say they’re both my favorite or everything is good.,, not Eugene I’m so glad that he suggested the Brussel Sprouts...one word DELICIOUS! Everything was awesome! I’m allergic to almond and I specifically stated to the waiter. They put almonds on my food and I had a very bad allergic reaction.

It was a very different experience from what we k ow capital grill to be. Service was extremely slow. It took almost and hour and a half to get our entree from when the salad was served. Took a long time to get the bill. Food was nothing more than mediocre. The crab app did not seem like high quality crab and the filet was dry. Would definitely go back because we know capital is better than this. Maybe they are still trying to get into the groove of things since recent re-opening.

Liz and Michael were excellent, my steak was overcooked twice but they took care of it in an instant, I believe this was only the 2nd or 3rd night back open after a long break so I can imagine it was crazy in the kitchen that night, not to worry at all I will be back for sure!!! Thanks again!

We celebrated my sisters birthday here recently just as they reopened the dining room with a family of 7 and had a wonderful experience.
The sea bass, lobster tail and filets were all cooked masterfully! The crusted Mac and cheese was delicious, as well as the lobster bisque and clam chowder!
The service was amazing!

The food and service were really good considering the limitations associated with the CCP virus. Wonderful steaks and the blueberry sorbet was a pleasure.

Always a treat to eat at The Capital Grille. Still the best lunch steak deal going for their dry aged, bone-in NY strip. Add a butter poached lobster tail for maximum lunchtime decadence.

We started with a cup of French onion soup and lobster bisque. Then we had the lobster salad and steak with Parmesan truffle fries. I would order everything again. Great food and service.

We had the best lunch! Calamari to start, followed by the Lobster salad. Absolutely d'lish and I would order the same thing next time I go. Service was outstanding! Of course, we had the Stoli Dolis, which are enough of a reason to go there! The table was decorated with confetti for my friend's birthday and they brought several desserts to celebrate. Yum! Can't wait to return.

Great management, steaks are amazing here. Ordered a NY Strip and it was over-aged, but the manager knew exactly the problem and took care of it immediately and brought us new Filets that were not as aged, they were fantastic! Very professional staff, lunch is a great deal. Lobster salad is delish!

Super A+ my new place to go

I reserved this for my uncle and new aunt’s wedding night. Because of the pandemic we couldn’t be there so we wanted to get them dinner on their wedding night. The hostess who took the information to make all the arrangements was amazing and so helpful.

One of my favorite steak places. The Kona Steak is my favorite
