What can I say? This place went above and beyond to make my son's graduation the most special night ever!! The staff was extremely helpful with picking off the menu, dinner was phenomenal and then our wonderful waitress brought out desert on them! 🫶🫶🫶

Due to road construction and heavy traffic those who had earlier reservations had arrived late. Our reservations were for 6 p.m. and the restaurant did its best to get us seated as close to our time and within 7 minutes we were seated. The host apologized several times for the delay in seating us. This was our first time here. Our server, Francia, was very attentive, asking if we were attending the concert and when we told her yes, she told us she would make sure we got there in time. The food was excellent! Lobster Bisque was the soup special - some of the best I’ve ever had. The added touch of sherry really enhanced the flavor and the bisque contained large pieces of lobster. The side dishes are large enough to serve a party of four. I had the Sliced Filet with Cipollini Onions, Wild Mushrooms with Fig Essence that melted in my mouth. My husband and another in our party had the 14 oz. New York Strip au Poivre with Courvoisier Cream and were still raving about it the next day. We will definitely be back!

I ordered scallops with mashed potatoes instead of rice. I also ordered creamed spinach. The chef decided to put a few scoops of very runny mashed potatoes on the plate and pile 5 damaged scallops on top of the potatoes. The potatoes tasted like scallops and scallops tasted like mashed potatoes. I never did get the creamed spinach. The server thought I was being unreasonable. I am a disabled senior citizen and I wanted to treat myself to dinner before the show. Your prices are high but worth it if the food is good. Not the case. Very disappointing.

Great place! Came back after having lunch here. Valet parking right in front. Table Service was amazing and such a comfortable environment —could hear my dinner companion without any trouble. But the food is the star!

On our way to the WWE match, Mark our server was excellent. He made sure we received everything perfectly and was able to time our dinner so we wouldn’t be late. The manager stopped by to assure we were loving our dinner. Valet gentleman were also very professional. We will definitely be back

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Capital Grill last night and it was an experience we'll never forget. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The table setting was elegant and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening. Our server, Shavon, was an absolute gem. Every dish we ordered was prepared to perfection, and the flavors were exquisite. The dessert was the perfect ending to our meal. And the cherry on top was a special anniversary message on our dessert plate. We were blown away by the attention to detail and the level of service we received. Capital Grill truly made our anniversary celebration unforgettable.

I have dined here numerous times since it is my husband’s favorite restaurant. I could clearly sense our waiter was either having a bad day or had no desire to serve ‘us’ on this particular night. Took my drink order and ignored my other guest’s desire to order a drink. His explanation of the recommendations for the evening was incomprehensible, due to the noise, the speed at which he spoke, and his accent. I truly believe he did not care if we wanted to order the specials or not. I pray I do not get him again. Trust me on my final point. His tip did not reflect my disappointment or annoyance.

Bridget our server was outstanding. Disappointed in the food which was a surprise. Lobster bisque lobster very tough and cup was very small portion. Pear and Gorgonzola salad was lifeless and crab cakes were a huge disappointment the presentation was as if thrown on the plate. Hostess was nice but brought us to those two tables in the aisle that are horrible in front of the kitchen in a high traffic area and they should not be there so I refused to sit and asked very politely for a table in the bar which I never understand why when you have a better table you opt for the worst table in the room to sit a reservation. When I said I had a reservation the response was “we are fully booked” well that’s all of us so why does our reservation get this table? Silence. Moved as requested but so disappointed and we are fairly regular. Maybe a bad night.

To me one of the hallmarks of Capitol Grille dining is the excellent service from the waitstaff. On this occasion, our server was Jennifer and she was outstanding. Personable, welcoming, attentive and just easy to interact wjth. Food is always prepared impeccably including the doneness of the steaks. Timing of the dishes allowed for a lovely holiday meal. Wine selection is excellent. Overall another wonderful dining experience.
