Our favorite place for lunch! Truly a great value, between quality of food, and portion sizes. Add to that the great service of Cap Grille, and you have the best lunch around.

The food was very good but nothing out of this world amazing. For a very expensive piece of steak and chicken, we paid top dollar for something that was pretty standard across cheaper establishments. However, we were very impressed by the service and how professional the staff were. Managers came around and my sure everything was good, and they treated my husband with a dessert platter for his bday. Overall we were extremely impressed and had a wonderful evening out.

It was a very busy Saturday evening but the host was terrific and seated us at four person booth which allowed for some quiet conversation. Great service and the food was excellent. It will become a regular for us now.

My wedding anniversary. Daughter's birthday

We were celebrating my sons birthday. He was turning 11 and this was a repeat choice from last year as well. He loved the confetti covered table where we were seated. He got a personalized, handwritten note wishing him a happy birthday. The food was amazing as usual. Finally a special dessert on the house. He felt very special and enjoyed his evening. Highly recommend the Capital Grill.

An appropriate venue for a business dinner or special occasion. The ample steaks and seafood are sure to impress. It irks me a bit that you have to order side dishes separately - when you pay $45 for an entree, you might expect a few vegetables with that. We ordered roasted Brussels sprouts to share, and they were a bit too brown for my liking. Yes, I’m being picky, but when you spend $100 per person, you should expect the best. We had an elderly person in our party, and I would have liked to see a little more sensitivity and less resistance when she made unusual requests - like when she asked to see the dessert menu midway through the meal.

Wonderful dinner with a terrific waiter. They surprised us with the private room. Birthday celebration was a hit thanks to capital grille!

Overall great. Lobster mac’n cheese lacked lobster. Only two small bite size pieces.

One of the worst steaks!!!! It was so fatty and no taste I couldn’t even finish half!!! It is so expensive so totally not worth it- it has gone way down hill!!!!

Everything was delicious, from apps to the excellent chocolate cake. And I especially enjoyed the matzah in the bread basket!
We went there for the first time to try the prix fixe menu during the Boston Dine Out promotion. It was well worth the $38pp price.

It just happened to be restaurant week during my husbands bday. So i booked a small dinner reservation. No one in our party had ever been and had heard such great things. We were very excited to try them out. I’ll just say this. It wasn’t what it was hyped up to be and we all chalked it up to being restaurant week. We ordered from the special menu and the regular menu. The experience was a good one and only 2 out of the 6 dinners weren’t up to par. We’ve decided to go back during a regular dining setting and try again for those 5 stars!!!

It was very crowded and noisy, perhaps because it was restaurant week. I thought the food was delicious, my wife was less enthusiastic. I's go again when it's less mobbed.

A high quality consistently good experience; the staff is experienced and professional. I particularly like the fact that you can carry on a conversation here. I am also impressed that for Restaurant Week, the fixed price menu is very legitimate unlike many fixed price restaurant week offerings.

Capital Grill Chestnut Hill provided a consistent five star dining experience as always. Going there during restaurant week is a great added bonus!

Came in for lunch today to enjoy lunch and oysters,a favorite of my mom and daughter who was home from college. The lunchtime crowd was twice that of my usual experience here, but it was restaurant week.
We had great service from Aaron. He is personable and friendly. He timed everything perfectly from beginning to end. He is truly great at what he does! A great dining experience. Thank you Aaron!

Excellent steaks, crème brulee, potatoes, brown bread. Wish I had ordered the lettuce wedge instead of Caesar's salad which was bland and soggy. Waiter (did not introduce himself so not sure if it was Evan or Sean (different names on tab and takehome card) was outstanding.

The food was delicious. Even though it was very busy, our server was very attentive, but not too much. I definitely will return .

I enjoy the Capital Grille this time it seemed to be overly busy so service was a little slower than usual but overall great!

We went during restaurant week and although the restaurant was very busy, the service was prompt and the food excellent.

Everything was fantastic it was just a little loud inside.

Filet mignon was ordered medium. It was well done. I complained and was talked out of it because a small portion of it had faint pink in the very center. ~80% of it being well done was not really good enough. The steak and response were somewhat disappointing.

Went for restaurant week and service and food were wonderful. Ask for Sean for waiter he is the best. First time for fish here and salmon for both was delicious. Also crabmeat cocktail recommended by Sean was also really good. Everyone there is very attentive.

My partner and I were celebrating our 11th anniversary, and for probably 9 of those, we have celebrated at Capital Grille. We LOVE the place, and ALL of the waiters/waitresses we've had over the years. MOST of them we had Denise (who was ALWAYS a treasure), and this year, we had one of your new folk, Schuyler, who we had the pleasure of meeting at our birthday dinner there in December, and not surprisingly kept up the HIGH level of service that we have come to know at your location. In the earlier years, we both noted that it was just too DARK inside (even for mood lighting) that we could not read the menu without a flashlight, which Denise always provided, and couldn't see our food in front of us. THIS year, we both noted a huge difference in this and it was much more wonderful.

Great place, we've been to other locations in the past, but the attention to details, like taking a picture of the table for my wife's birthday, bringing out the dessert as usual, and bringing champagne. The best experience I've had at a Capital yet!
