A bit noisy, but that underlies an excellent dining experience. It’s popular for a reason. The food is incredible, the staff is phenomenal and the efficiency is at a very high level.

They’re accommodative, knowledgeable and non-intrusive. Great dining. It’s the top steakhouse in Charlotte for a reason.

Excellent dinner and service as usual

Capital Grille is our go to spot for a special night out. Food is always excellent and the updated menu is really great. The kale salad is delicious! Their mushroom side is a must-just divine. We shared the chocolate lava cake and had to fight over the last bite!

The Capital Grille made my birthday dinner very special! Upon arrival, there was a sweet card and confetti on the table. Our server, Ryan, did a great job recommending a fabulous wine and our meal was delicious, including the birthday chocolate with candles.

Entrees took 45 minutes to arrive after placing our order and were room temp by the time they arrived. Had to flag down our server to ask for basic service like refilled water. Just a very subpar experience on all fronts at this price point. Regret not going to Del Frisco’s, which is reliably exceptional 100% of the time.

Made our anniversary very special from the first step in the door until we left. Alex, our server, was absolutely spot on and perfect in servicing us. He, along with everyone on the staff who pitched in from the note to the special appetizer to special dessert, made the night perfect. Most likely will be making this our every anniversary tradition.

The steak wasn’t hot. Restaurant was at capacity so maybe that’s why. The steak itself wasn’t bad it just didn’t impress me either.

It's our tradition to hit the Capital Grill for our Anniversary. Food and service are excellent. Met some folks at the bar, had some excellent wine, wonderful dinner. Here's the ultimate validation that their service is 5 STAR. We enjoyed the adult beverages, perhaps too much so, that the valet asked, 'Hey are you guys staying uptown?", Answer YES. Response: "Great, I'll take you to your hotel". WOW! and Thank you!

We always enjoy Capital Grille. This time I went with the Scallops (yes, no steak in a Grille), but they were wonderful. I had the creamed spinach as a side. I wish I could hold more as there are many other things I would have enjoyed, but I was too full. I had a very reasonable glass of wine and since only I was drinking, this was quite nice. I wish I'd paid more attention so I could order it again. We did split a dessert--the creme brulee--it was luscious. Always enjoy the Capital. BTW, we went back after theatre, and even though last call had been called (the kitchen was closed), we were able to order and have just about the best martini I've ever had. Thank you so much.

Great place

We had a wonderful experience! It was our 24th wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Our waiter, David, was awesome. He made our night very special. We really appreciate all the little things that he and Capital Grill did to make our dinner special.

Easter brunch

Was there for Easter brunch. I wasn’t a big fan of the choices on the menu, nor was anyone in my family. We typically love the Capital Grille though.

Great food and great service. You get what you pay for at Capital Grille. I highly recommend this spot. The lobster tail was outstanding and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our wait staff was top notch.

I have been to a few Capital Grille's, Charlotte's location is very convenient. The Service was great, very knowledgeable wait staff. From the time we walked in until the end of our dining experience, it was spot on. The food was awesome from apps to dessert. Very nice wine list. High end but worth it.

Great meal and great service!

16oz Bone In Rib Eye was available and not to be missed! The Sides were ample portions for five (5) of us to share. Drinks we ordered were all “Good Pours”! Waiters were always readily available for anything. Never a disappointment when dining at any of The Capital Grille restaurants!

Made our one year anniversary truly special

Our waitress was superb. I think her name was Laura or Lauren. We went 2 evenings in a row. The second night we had the pleasure of having her serve us again. She asked if we wanted the same cocktails we had the previous night. She remembered, I was shocked.
We got stuck in Charlotte because of snowstorm in Philly. Love the Capital Grill!

We are from out of town and found this restaurant on Open Table. We absolutely loved everything about it! The staff was friendly and on point the entire time. We absolutely loved our waiter Alex. The food was delicious and the dessert was the best I ever had. They have a great wine list. The atmosphere is great.. it wasn't too loud. We had a nice quite family dinner even though the place was packed. We will defiantly be returning on the next trip back to Charlotte.

The most impeccable meal we've ever had. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, the ambiance was ideal. We will be back!

Ordered: Mojitos (had muddled green grapes--yum!), Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella (came with tomatoes in balsamic with toast) , Lobster & Crab Cakes (came with a corn relish & tartar sauce), Lobster Bisque (huge chunks of lobster and very creamy), Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails (insanely good, must have--closed my eyes when I ate this!), Coconut Cream Pie (huge, perfect to share, very creamy and light tasting--perfection), Cappuccino (comes with cute sugar stick). They also provided a free bread basket filled with a couple varieties (an onion/cheese bread, a brown bread with raisins, a cracker-like bread, and very good butter).

Always a great experience. Food and service exceptional.
