The Capital Grille - Charlotte Ratings and Reviews
Great service from the table seating to the wine serving. Calamari and crab cakes were fresh and prepared perfectly. Filet mignon was superb. Salmon tasted incredibly delicious. Wine selections greatly complimented the entrees. And the desserts were heavenly. Perfect score. Thank you Ross and Mario!
The Capital Grill never disappoints. From friendly, courteous, well-informed waiters to. The quality and diversity if their menu items. Lobster mac and cheese is not to be missed. Their new filet with bone had oustanding flavor, terrific. Attentive service makes the experience all the better, especially for soecial occasions. We will be back.
The 4 of us went twice within 2 weeks for two birthday/theater celebrations. The seafood was so fresh and delicious as was the steaks, lobster bisque, sides and appetizers. I have never had such sweet lobster as the ones from South Africa. The halibut, lobster crab cakes and diver scallops were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails and wine list. what made the dinner complete was the very attentive service of David. his suggestions were spot on and very appreciated. In honor of the birthdays there was confetti on the table, a lovely card, and David took our picture and developed it for us. A celebration dessert was given to us which all 4 of us could enjoy. Can't wait to come back! Perfect restaurant to have dinner when you are going to the Blumenthal. Of course we highly recommend The Capital Grille for all occasions!
Had dinner at Capital Grille, our waiter Shawn was amazing. He was pleasant, we took his suggestions and we not disappointed. The Lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had. It was not listed on the menu, but ask for it, they always have it. I also recommend the cheesecake for dessert. Quite possibly the best cheesecake I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. ;)
Terrible service for my business dinner. Seated at 6pm and ordered everything shortly afterwards. Told server we needed to keep things moving as some individuals had another evening obligation. We didn't get our food until 7:30pm. Ordered one bottle of Silver Oak. Was told second bottle was unavailable. After much back and forth on a different lower cost wine, miraculously a second bottle of Silver Oak was found. A third was also available but by that time we were fed up and needed to leave.
