Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Food was great and our server Anthony was fantastic. We picked a bad day to go (Saturday 9/14) because unbeknownst to us they was an Indian Pride parade outside and the noise was extremely loud even inside. Not really a Capital Grille issue but the ambiance was impacted due to noise and drumming outside. Also the parking validation did not work on the scanner at the garage so had to fork over $18.00 .

    Jose was a wonderful server. Drinks were great, my steak was overcooked but still good. Overall, a great experience.

    As has been the case every time we have gone, the experience was fantastic. The steaks are always cooked the way we like them. The service was, like always, the best. David is always amazing and thinks of things before you do! Amazing, made from scratch desserts, fantastic sides. I mean it’s always on point there. Will always go back.

    Both of us said this was the best meal at a Restaurant we’ve had over recent years. Both meals were cooked as requested. Delicious including the 2 sides. Wine recommendations were spot on. The service provided by Staton Williams was 1st Class.

    We went for our anniversary. Had the special, filet mignon with lobster tail. The lobster tail wasn’t the usual served. The meat melted in your mouth the lobster tail was very sweet. But less I forget, the assortment of breads placed on the table was amazing (I am a bread lover!) and the beet and goat cheese salad was the best. Too bad it’s not served for lunch because I would eat it everyday. Great time, loved the card and table decoration.

    We came here for The Generous Pour experience. The waiter said that they were out of some of the wines so we decided not to do it; Which was annoying since that was the entire reason we chose Capital Grille for dinner. But anyway, our server was nice but not very attentive (also a bit sassy) He attempted to make up for it by giving a complementary dessert. The food was average at best. The creamed corn seemed to be straight out of a can with some milk added. Definitely not a Steak 48 creamed corn (IYKYK). I got the scallop and lobster dish with risotto. The risotto was very disappointing, but they gave 5 scallops which is more than usual for a scallop dish. My friend got the tenderloin and lobster which she liked. Two small tenderloin medallions topped with lobster. I also had the lobster bisque which was bland, but had lots of lobster chunks in it. Overall, I do not have to experience Capital Grille again … definitely not worth it.

    This was our first time here and it was absolutely amazing! I can’t tell you how many times I add a special occasion to my reservation and this was the first location that acknowledged it, they not only decorated the table, but it was spoken to me every time someone new came to the table. The food was amazing and the birthday dessert was a nice surprise. This was an amazing treat before walking across to see the Lion King at The Belk Theater.
