The Capital Grille - Burlington Ratings and Reviews
This was the first time I have thought that the food was off. The salad was absolutely drenched in vinaigrette to the detriment of the greens, and the excellent cut of salmon was slightly under-cooked. Very uncharacteristic experience--we have been here many times before.
Usually love It here. Unfortunately, they brought our food to the wrong table and placed it in front of other patrons. They talked over our dishes using hand gestures over them. The staff then brought it back to the cook area and then brought those same plates of food to our table. With all of the flu issues going around not to mention the prices that we pay to eat at such a nice place we don’t expect this kind of service. Waiter seemed put off that we had an issue with this and chose to ignore us after the manager spoke to him about it. I’m usually not one to write reviews like this but we expected a better experience.
We had a wonderful time at the Capital Grille in Burlington. The service was amazing not sure if it was cause we were right next to the kitchen. The food was great as well as the prices for quality food. A bit loud, but will go again. I would recommend this to friends and family.
Thank you Capital Grille for providing, once again, an outstanding anniversary experience. We asked for a table in a quieter area, and were taken to s small dining room with about 10 tables. Perfect!
Upon being seated we were presented with flutes of a delicious, well chilled, sparkling wine. We were both on diets and as we perused the menu we prepared to blow it off. Our waiter, “Ric” helped us choose wisely and our meals were almost within boundaries. They turned out to be a definite five star yummm - so delicious and beautifully presented.
Then came dessert. Two samplers sat on a dessert platter. Spelled out in chocolate on the plate was Happy Anniversary.
Before saying goodnight our waiter presented us with a picture he had taken earlier. It was definitely a golden memory evening.
The Capital Grille is one of my family's favorite restaurants. We took my husband there for his birthday Saturday night. I made reservations a week prior, and they sat us right away. The bread bowl is always delicious, which they bring to your table right away. I ordered the filet, which was delicious. My husband got the Kona Sirloin, which he thought was tasty and filling. My son got the strip with the balsamic/mushroom rub .... where he enjoyed the steak but really didn't like the rub. I tried it and thought it was too much (and I love balsamic). My daughter got the salmon, which she enjoyed (but she was still hungry when we left). We got mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms for our sides, which were all very good. The apple croissant and ice cream (dessert) was a little disappointing, but overall, we had a wonderful time. Our server was probably the best waiter I ever had. He was great!
I took my friend out to lunch to celebrate her birthday. The meal was delicious, and the complimentary dessert was superb. I cannot say enough about the service! Srinivas, our waiter, was top notch. His attentive service made this birthday luncheon extra special!
This was for a birthday and was excellent as always. This is a pricey restaurant and the expectations are high which they have always met. We have been here many times over the past five years and was never disappointed. This is probably one of the most expensive restaurants outside of Boston. You must figure about one hundred dollars per person including tip for a complete meal including one glass of wine. A terrific place for special occasions.
We came for my son's 18th birthday. They sat us at a round table squished in the back. It wasn't very comfortable. Service was fine as was the food but the experience was hampered by the table put in the back where everyone had to step around us and we had to get up if someone needed to move.
Our hats off to manager, Adam! He made sure that we were impressed with our dining experience from start to finish. Thank you Adam and thank you to your staff of excellent servers. We will be back again and know that our fine dining experience was of the utmost importance to Capital Grille
We haven't been to the Capitol Grill in a while so it was nice to give it a try again. To sum up our dinner, my husband and I agreed that unless we had a gift card, we wouldn't go back. The food was great, the service was great. The dining room was very loud and crowded. Our meal was over $230 for just the two of us. I don't mind spending the money but it has to be excellent. The Capitol Grill missed the mark.
We celebrate our husband's birthdays annually at Capital Grill because they make efforts to make it more special than just dining out. When we arrived to our table, it was decorated and included a welcoming note. They specialize in steak but one can't go wrong on anything prepared. I love thew porcini rubbed rib-eye with aged balsamic, but all treatments are great. If you are celebrating an occasion, Capital Grill will be sure to make it memorable.
