The Capital Grille - Burlington Ratings and Reviews
we went here to celebrate my stepdaughters birthday and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance is very comfortable and inviting. Our server was excellent and the food was superb. We enjoyed steak, seafood and some fantastically huge deserts. Thank goodness for to go boxes, we loved everything. We will be back to this location again soon.
We have been to the Capital Grille- Burlington several times. From business dinners in the main dining room to a private room for a family gathering celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary, CG - Burlington does not disappoint. Our most recent experience was for our 29th wedding anniversary. Apps, entrees, and dessert were all great and flawlessly executed. Service was right on point and special requsts for special dietary needs were met without hesitation. This is the place to go for "done-right-first time".
More than just steak! My sister and I are regulars at the Burlington restaurant and typically we order the same thing every time we dine. This time we decided to go with the lamb chops. . it has become our new favorite! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and so very tender.
Came here for my husband's birthday and have to say that the service is exceptional, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the steak/red meat is to die for! They even had a card waiting at the table for my husband which the staff signed wishing him a happy birthday--nice touch!
Dishes that stood out: delmonico steak, kona-rubbed steak, lamb chops, s'mashed potatoes, sauteed spinach (with garlic), and vegetable risotto. The salmon (I know, who has fish at a steak house?!), was overcooked/dry but still had a nice grilled flavor to it. In sum: if you come here and spend some dough, get the steak!
We had an amazing experience. The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. She gave us her personal opinion and even made suggestions based off the information we gave her about our likes. It's refreshing to go to a restaurant upscale or not, where the staff genuinely enjoys what they are doing.
I had the pleasure of dining at the Burlington, MA location this past weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and had the opportunity to do a wine tasting for a nominal fee with our dinner. It was fabulous!! Food and service are always stellar! Restaurant was very busy but you never feel rushed. Wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend the summer wine tasting with dinner.
Service started out very good, but waiter did not check back. Was seated in a corner as you entered, could not get attention if you needed to. Food was expensive, but quality and presentation was not on par with the prices. We ordered 2 desserts, but only one came and no one came by after first dessert was placed to the wrong person until the bill was presented. Thankfully was not charged. Would not go back due to cost, quality disparity.
The food was wonderful. Perfectly cooked, and surprisingly large quantities. Service was a little slow. It was about 45 minutes before our food order was taken - luckily we were not in a hurry though we were getting pretty hungry. The entire meal was delicious.
It was pouring rain when we arrived. Being greeted at the door by the free Valet service and an umbrella was a good start. Service at dinner was excellent and all 4 of us enjoyed a very eclectic meal. Vegetables are served family style and in adequate proportions to pass around the table.
I think that if you're a person who is targeting a special occasion and wants the right ambiance and service, this is a great option for you. The wait staff was very good, and they are trained well -- and really have a great attitude toward satisfying the guests and making this a great dining experience for the customer. However, I thought that the actual food was less than stellar, and given what you're going to spend here for the experience, it really needs to be top shelf. I've enjoyed Morton's in the past, and was hoping for a similar quality of food -- but my rib eye wasn't as strong as I would have liked it. The overall experience for our anniversary was very good, but I would have hoped that the actual main course was stronger.
While steak is their specialty, their fish entrees are also excellent and there is more than an adequate selection to choose from. Their side dishes are large and sufficient for sharing. They have a very extensive wine selection. Whenever possible, we come here for special occasions and with out-of-town family and friends. Highly recommended!
We have eaten here before and have mostly had good experiences. This time, the food was mediocre, the service was terrible, as we were kept waiting for over 20 minutes to have our dinner plates cleared.
We have used Capital Grill Burlington for our good steak place, but not any longer. Both of our steak dishes were cold. The food came out too quickly (my husband saw a server coming with our food and turn around), before we finished our appetizers, and they were returned to the kitchen. This affected the quality of the meal. My mother in law was taking us here for our anniversary, and I'm really sorry she wasted her money.
Capital Grille never disappoints. Food and service are outstanding. You don't have to be a meat lover to appreciate the f0od. My husband had swordfish;and claims it was the best he ever had.
We always go here for special occasions as they're a little expensive on a retiree's budget.
We loved our lunch at the Capital Grill It was my husbands birthday. They first took our family picture and they gave it to us as a keep sake. The lobster Bisque was excellent like velvet and chunks of lobster on top. Baked stuff shrimp stuffed with lobster, Cesar Salads with roasted chicken wonderful. They also gave us to deserts to enjoy and wine choices are very good. Our server we loved and we are going back again soon
The food was delicious but at the end of the meal we felt the price was rather extravagant for what we received. We were there for a special occasion and were rather surprised that a neighboring table (as were they) received a complimentary photo when we did not. I doubt we'll return. I wish they had more of a choice for appetizers. If you don't eat salad or fish you are at a disadvantage.
