If you like alfresco dining, then this is your destination. Beautiful concept. Food was excellent and wait staff pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Cannot gush enough about this wonderful restaurant steps away from our covered wagon! I had the shrimp and grits appetizer as my main course with a side of the best roasted Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had! The meal was so delicious, I ordered the exact same thing the next night too! Breakfast both mornings was hearty and delicious as well! You can’t beat great food, a beautiful view and attentive service IN A TENT! The restaurant is open to locals not just guests of the ranch so if you’re in the Garden City area, treat yourself and stop in for a meal!
Good food. Little overpriced. Great ambiance and music. Service was just ok. There were lots of tables open when we arrived. The hostess said the only table they had was right in front of the music. After contemplating going to another restaurant the hostess finally sat us at another table farther away from the music. It took the waitress a little while to take our order and drink. I ordered a salad but never received it, and the hostess never marked my reservation with open table as completed. Overall a good experience with a few little hiccups.
A really great experience, we had our grandkids with us - GREAT experience for them, the staff was over-the-top friendly! Good food and a great experience
Great views of the lake, deer and mountains. Food was amazing, very tasty. Absolutely loved the Cajun shrimp with grits...oh my gosh. Their steaks were cooked to perfection. Recommend family, friends, and everyone else...!!!
I waited for weeks to try the Campfire Grill. I was pretty disappointed! Too pricey. Also, I ordered the duck breast upon recommendation from our waitress. The skin was a giant flap of rubber especially after they doused it in some kind of sauce. Husbands steak was raw and even the pizzas the others order were under cooked.
For being tucked into a glamping retreat, we were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of cuisine and professionalism of the server team.
The food was so good. And the server was very personable. The environment is fun in that it is part of the Conestoga ranch and there are tents and wagons everywhere that people stay in. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The open air and view are the reason to keep coming back. The excellent food is the perfect combination.
Beautiful views of gorgeous Bear Lake at this indoor-outdoor restaurant with live music and rustic/western decor. This is the only high end restaurant near Bear Lake and we eat there every time we visit. The menu is eclectic, creative and incorporates local produce in many dishes. Portion sizes are excellent and vegetable and starchy sides are tasty. Perfect for families with kids, who can get up and roam around the fields and campfires outside the restaurant, yet still a great choice for foodie adults.
The service was great, the food was outstanding. The semi-outdoor setting was great. We celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Best food in the Bear River Valley
The service was poor, took way to long for the water and drinks. The food wasnt very good. We got the steaks and none of our steaks were done the way we asked. The cook should have a thermometer. They had a decent crust on two sides but the other sides had no crust making the steak have a unapealling greay on the sides. Judging by the the lack of marbling in the steaks it was a choice cut. If i am paying 34 dollars for a steak i want prime. There were 2 things we got that tasted good. My daughters burger and the truffle french frys. The burger was seasoned well and had a nice crust on the burger maybe a tad over cooked but that is preferred with ground beef. The French frys were very good and tasty.
We had an excellent experience at the Campfire Grill, which was not very busy at the end of the season and a Wednesday night, but we had fabulous, expert service both in wine and food. We've eaten there before when it's full, more lively, and louder, so this was a pleasant quiet meal. Do bring a sweater or a wrap for the cool night air.
Loved all of our meals and loved the service even more. Very reasonably priced and lots of options!
The Campfire Grill is the restaurant / chuck wagon for the Conestoga Ranch “glamping” experience. You don’t have to be staying at the ranch to eat at the Campfire. If you are visiting the Bear Lake area and you don’t eat here you unfortunately passed on a truly wonderful experience. The food was beautifully prepared and the ingredients are noticeably fresher than what you are likely accustomed to consuming. The seating area is open and surrounded by great views. The service was friendly and professional. In summary, don’t miss out.
Everything was fantastic. Unfortunately had a poor excuse for a waitress but the rest made up for her.
Food and atmosphere was great! I think the food was over priced and the service was slow!
Campfire Grill is a family tradition ! We always eat there ! The atmosphere, the views, and especially the food is fantastic ! Ashleigh was our waitress this last time on Saturday, she was awesome ! Also they have live music! Absolute must try !
Very interesting place for an unusaual meal
A wonderful return trip on our last night in Bear Lake, staying at Conestoga Ranch. Don’t hesitate-you won’t regret an evening at The Campfire Grill!
Our favorite restaurant in Bear Lake! Always enjoyable to dine there while we stay at Conestoga Ranch. Service is so friendly and we appreciate that they always are happy to accommodate our plant-based (vegan) diet.
It was great. Kids value was great, regular menu was pretty expensive.
Food was really good and pricing reasonable.
Ambience with glamorous campingtents and fireplaces perfect. We really enjoyed it
Food was above our expectations - absolutely delicious! Great variety as well!
Really good food! Not too crowded and definitely worth the price
Menu needs to include more affordable options because as it is, feeding a family is too expensive.
Pricing could be improved, especially for the kids menus.
Excellent service. The roast pig buffet was a nice option. The calabrese pizza was unusually bland. We are fans of Campfire. Best dining at Bear Lake.
The Campfire Grill is nicely conveniently located at the Conestoga ranch. The food is good and the staff is very friendly.
I do recommend to eat there if staying at the ranch.
We had a great experience. Just thought it was a little overpriced
Great open air dining experience!
We had the wagyu burger with sweet potato fries and a wood fire pizza.
Abbie our waitress was fantastic!
A wonderful dinner all around!
Setting beautiful. Service was slow and entrees were brought out at different times. Our steak was great but had to be sent back for additional cooking.
The only downside of staying at Conestoga Ranch is eating at the Campfire Grill. This restaurant consistently has subpar service that in any other resort would be considered unacceptable. I could have driven back to Park City for takeout and back in the time it took for the kitchen to deliver our food. The servers must be embarrassed about the kitchen because once they take your order (if they take your order) they never return until the food is ready. After all of this waiting, the food is generally over cooked and has little flavor. The worst. Ownership clearly doesn’t care because this experience has been exactly the same for us over the last 4 years. Avoid it at all costs if you are staying at Conestoga Ranch or anywhere else in Bear Lake.
This is one of my favorite lunch spots so I decided to drive the hour it takes me to get there to take family to lunch. Upon arrival we were told they were not open due to a private event. After showing the hostess my reservation confirmation email from OpenTable and telling her how far we had come all she offered was a curt apology. There was no one in the restaurant but I did see one large table decorated for what I assumed was the private event. I love Campfire Grill but was so disappointed by this experience.
Bachelorette Party! Great food, great service, darling place!
What a fun place! We spend a lot of time at Bear Lake but it’s usually swim suits, sand, sun and hamburgers. This was a fun addition! The food was delicious. Don’t miss out on the baked cookie and ice cream. We will go back for sure!
For being in Utah and in a remote beautiful locale Campfire has all the bases covered but most importantly the food was great and the had wine... a win win for me and my family.
Food and service were amazing! We had the truffle fries, bbq flatbread, brussel sprouts, salads, and asparagus! The setting is so beautiful, also. Great dinner !
We had dinner (family of four - Two adults + two kids) which was great value, relaxing outlook, the pizza's are sensational. The service was quick and attentive, we recommend you try for yourself.
The food filled us up, but that was about it. My wife's chicken was dry and the someone flamethrowered her brussel sprouts to oblivion. My meatloaf was very subpar for $25-27! The Mac and cheese appetizer was delicious and good raspberry lemonade 😉Nice try ..but it was a fail!
