Great food, great service, it was a great time we spent there for all of us on Thanksgiving!!!! We will be back soon.

This was just my personal experience and I understand everyone's experiences can vary. There were some food crumbs on the booth seating area which can happen at times. The meatball sliders appetizer tasted fine/good but the bread and perhaps the presentation was slightly lacking. The complimentary bread was good though. The main chicken dish was presented well but it was probably my mistake of ordering that particular dish. The chocolate pyramid dessert tasted great but seemed to lack in size. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice but considering it isn't quite up to par with a fine dining level/experience, the prices seemed a little high; but maybe that's just me. Glad I used the groupon and got most of my money's worth.

Never disappoints!

We had appetizers; meat and cheese plate and the Calamari. The meat and cheese plate was kind of boring. The calamari was a bit tough. I would not order it again. The drinks were amazing. The linguini with clam sauce was very good, as well as the veal dish that my wife had. Overall a good experience.

Dinner was excellent. Others in my party were not as happy as I was. I had Osso Buco and it was delicious. My husband, sister-in-law and her boyfriend had the zuppa di pesce. They all complained there was not enough shell fish and way too much fish in the dish. I know most folks order it for the shell fish so I didn't find their complaints out of line. Otherwise dinner was good. Afterward, we went to the bakery downstairs and were sorely disappointed. Nothing we ordered was fresh. Stale..stale...stale.

A lovely dining experience. Great service...nice ambiance. We love palermo shrimp entree...comes with salad. They had a wonderful singer who entertained... good energy.

It took awhile but i was able to get someone to work with me. Its. Ot their fault the servers arent that well trained and barely have staff. I guess its a bad thing when there isnt that many people there as guests a few in between here ans there but not full to the brim on the night we went. It was very nice of them to remake our wedding cake free of charge for our anniversary since we couldn’t make it the 1st year. But it was also hard to make sure it was going to go right. This place needs a little work other than that its good.

We went in and there was nobody to help us. There seemed to be multiple parties going on. It was very confusing on where we had to go. We didnt get to eat bc anyone we spoke looked at us like we had 3 heads. So this will be our first and last time. I do not recommend.

Came here about two years ago and I loved it! Just went to celebrate our anniversary with another couple and it’s definitely not the same. While the food was good, it was nothing extra special like I remember. Drinks were not good and super expensive. They were expensive before but they were amazing so I didn’t mind, this time I did mind paying that much. We were the only people there at 7:30 on a Friday. Ambiance 2 years ago was candlelit, perfect for a date night, this time not romantic at all. I hope they can pull things around to how I remember the restaurant. The restaurant is very beautiful and it would be a shame to see it not do well.

Convenient, local, a nice atmosphere for a couple or a group. Good service. 2 out of the 3 dishes we tried were so so. One was good.

The food was great and so was the service. We will certainly be back.

The food is amazing and the service is wonderful. It has wonderful ambiance and I recommend it highly to anyone who wants a delicious Italian dinner.

I took my husband here for his 38th birthday. I was expecting more of a restaurant experience... it felt more like we were interviewing a caterer? I don't know how to explain it exactly. The food was good... it just wasn't a regular restaurant exactly. But our waiter was lovely and the service was good.

My family went for Mother’s Day and it was a set menu and price. The dishes on the menu had no explanations which would have been ok except the waitress didn’t know either. I ordered the Verona chicken dish for my son and was told it was stuffed with mozzarella and eggplant but it wasn’t. It was stuffed with asparagus prosciutto and mozzarella. Big difference for a 15 year old. The food was good but the service and knowledge of the dishes were disappointing.

Food was excellent! Ordered chicken parm. Generous chicken cutlet portion, sauce was delicious and tasted like my grandma’s sauce (sweet, rich red color, thick). Had side salad and hazelnut mousse in a flute and cappuccino for dessert. BF had country chicken entree. Generous portion with fresh ingredients. He left no morsel on the plate. Modern, clean and comfortable decor. Waiter attentive and pleasant. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend.

I bought a groupon to try the restaurant, we went in 10 minutes prior to our reservation time, a large party was still there, waited for someone to help us, no one came, the hostess then arrived for her shift, went in the back did not come out, I asked for a manager, he didn’t come out, we had tickets for a show so could not wait around, we left, before the coupon expired, made another reservation, before leaving for the seating time I called to make sure the groupon would be excepted because I bought for 4 people but now only 2 could go, the bartender tells me the groupon would not be excepted for 2 people, again no manager to speak to, his tone was very arrogant , so with that we decided to not go at all, not friendly at all, not willing to accommodate the customer at all, we would not want to go to a restaurant that at the least is not friendly, and we will never recommend or go back.

We loved the setting in the room with the beautiful large booths. Our server Jerry ? was so attentive and friendly we enjoyed how thoughtful he was. Everything from the apps to dessert was so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be going back. Loved this place.

Food was great. Portions large. Tried various appetitizers- mussels, cheese plate, caprese and Caesar’s salad. Dishes were shank, steak, two chicken dishes. All were equally delicious. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We will definitely come back.

Even when they are hosting a large grouo service doesn't slack. Ordered from the regular menu thiscweek and everythng was great. My linguini with white clam sauce was delicious.

We have been coming here for a few years now. Every time we go the food just gets better and better!

The staff is just amazing. Rosco, the bartender, is the master mixologist and one hell of a GREAT guy!

Drew, who sings, well, he just gets better and better. What an amazing talent he has.

Jerry, he is the utmost professional who runs that restaurant like clockwork!

Overall, everyone compliments each other and that by itself is what makes The Cake Lounge #1

Always love this restaurant and always give it five stars. However, this time service was lacking and one dinner was not prepared as requested and the filet mignon was well done instead of medium rare. Think it was just an off night and they seemed understaffed. I will still go back.

Every thing was delicious, service was excellent, plate presentation was beautiful & the cakes they had in display from Palermos bakery were amazing.

Lovely restaurant...nice ambiance..attentive servicr... fabulous food. The dinners come with salad...we hadn't realized and ordered caprese appetizer which was excellent. I love shrimp palermo... great dining.

This is fancy little restaurant located in Little Ferry (NJ). The service was great, food was good. Drink menu was reasonable price. I also got little birthday cake :) I would defiantly recommend this place to my friend

Service ambiance and food outstanding

Great food and wonderful service. The staff was courteous and took very good care of our party. We were here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we had a great time!

Service is very good. Food is average. Didn't find menu or specials all that creative. All in all it was okay.

The service was not good at all. We sat for 15 or more minutes before a waiter came to get our drink orders. The whole meal was that way - long wait to order, long wait for food, long wait for drinks. Food was very good. service was awful.

The Christmas Eve fixed price/4 course meal was the best I have experienced at the Cake Lounge.
They had a home run with this menu! The food choices were fabulous and presentation was great!

Celebrated my Uncle’s & my Birthday here and everything was perfect! The whole family loved their food, cake was amazing, service was phenomenal. Our waiter was Carlos, he was very attentive and took great care of us the whole night. The restaurant ambiance is beautiful, I would recommend it for any occasion!

Highly recommended!! Rib eye was cooked to perfection and seafood fresh . Deserts are amazing. Be sure to leave time after dinner for drinks and fantastic music.
