Terrible " guest " relations training for front check in staff . Restaurant way overbooked / waited in excess of 30 minutes for 1 pm check in . Then we were told that we could not order coffee as it was " being tossed out " and any dessert ordered would be to go only . If this was my first time I would never go back . First experience - maybe 5 years ago was more pleasant and more organised . Looks terrible having tables set in the foyer . None of our group are coming back .

The breakfast buffet was a brick of eggs, fruit, old bacon and packaged sausage. And weirdly gravy with no rolls or bread other than hard waffles. No ice, plastic water cups and coffee in Styrofoam. That was all it was. Free breakfast at a mid level hotel was better. Not sure what happened but not anywhere near the expectations of Brookwood food.

When I checked in I mentioned we had two birthdays we were celebrating. A mother and daughter, I was told to be sure and tell the waiter I mentioned it two times but they did not get any dessert. Was disappointed in this.

Our group of five ladies enjoyed the experience very much. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The room was bustling and full of diners, yet the tables were not crowded together and we could easily hear conversations at our table. Very nice afternoon!

Even with reservation we had to wait 1/2 hr to get to our table. The receptionist seemed new to the job and was confused from time to time

I love Brookwood. This was my third experience and again did not disappoint. Service was great and food was just ok. Food arrived just warm; but was excused because they were busy…… Servers were very attentive to our needs. Hostess was so nice. Would love to go back before Christmas but not sure I’ll have the opportunity. Love the gift shop and nursery as well. Plants are healthy and reasonably priced. Gift shop has something for everyone!! Merry Christmas!

Always enjoy dining at Brookwood. The tomato basil soup was amazing and the crab cakes were delicious. Got carrot cake to go, as it’s our fave!

The chicken salad was just gobs and gobs of mayonnaise and not much chicken salad took one bite, and then a fly landed in the chicken salad and couldn’t get out.

Seating was 25 minutes late. No drink offer as waited, no advanced updates for delays. They were too busy with lg groups. Waitress was excellent & wonderful- knowable & kind. The food excellent once seated- not enough help.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately we came at the end of their lunch services and it appeared they had served some large groups earlier. They staff (non-residents) we more concerned about cleaning up the other table than waiting on us. After sitting for more than 15 minutes we had to go looking for a server to take our order and to bring us water The food was excellent and we love this place, but wouldn’t recommend you make your reservation towards the end of their service hours.

It was very cold outside and they insisted on running the A/C. The hostess was very slow to get people seated while accommodating other people. Seemed like enough people were working just not good at delegating.

We had a wonderful birthday lunch at the Cafe after shopping for an hour in Brookwood’s store. We were seated right on time & our server was very attentive & knowledgeable. The food was great & the atmosphere was perfect for a birthday celebration.

Brookwood is an exceptional resource for the developmentally disabled citizens who live and work there. The wait staff in the restaurant are citizens of Brookwood Community. They are fantastic people doing a great job. The food is always excellent.

Cheerful and lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed a wonderful luncheon and shopping with 11 of my dearest friends recently. Service was delightful, thanks to our friend, Robert, and shopping is always fun. My only suggestion would be to please make Tomato basil soup always available. Delicious any time of year. Thank you Brookwood for a great day.

This is the most amazing place. I have now been twice and each time I leave blessed. The food is without fault and very creative, the service is fit for a special occasion but don’t wait for that occasion and the people a truly passionate about serving and each other. Enjoy a wonderful lunch or brunch and then do a little shopping. You won’t be disappointed.
