El restaurante goza de impresionantes jardines florales en un entorno histórico en el que los comensales podrán degustar platos locales de estilo contemporáneo recién preparados. Está ubicado en la antigua residencia de la familia Butchart y ofrece vistas espectaculares al jardín privado, al jardín italiano y a Tod Inlet.                                           I've lived on Vancouver Island for over 30 years and have always wanted to do High Tea! Finally, I got to impress a new friend and went for it. The afternoon was lovely, and our waiter was so helpful, friendly and quick! The cost was ok, for these times, however having to pay for the entry ($45 each) then lunch...was quite expensive...we only got to see the gift shop and rose garden before we had to leave for the airport, and we were tired as we tried to rush around to see as much as we could after lunch. Loved the experience though...but will have to save up another 20 years to go back.

                                          It was an amazing experience I will treasure. Everyone should experience high tea at least once. The food was perfect. There were many types of finger sandwiches and tea cakes to sample. They were so delicate and flavorful. It was perfect.

                                          Pretty little place, gets noisy around lunchtime. It was hard to get our server’s attention. Average tea time food. The tea was very light, minimal tea leaves, I’ve had better tea at cheaper places. Most people go for the gardens, not the tea.

                                          Without a doubt the best meal and service, including wine selection, that I have experienced in North America for many years. Not too far short of 5 star presentattion of the meal and service at international standards.

                                          The location of the Butchart s High Tea was lovely! Both savoury and sweet treats were all unique, well prepared and tasty. About the only complaint I had was the tea was a bland…even at the end of the pot. Service was great.

                                          We were a party of 5 ladies from SoCal. We all agreed this was the best tea we have ever attended. The view looking out over the lush landscape towards the bay was amazing. The rooms with huge fresh bouquets were beautiful. We had fun trying out each others pick of tea flavors and the food was amazing. We had to get to go containers because there was plenty of food. All of the staff were friendly and amazing. So glad we included the tea with our Butchard Gardens visit.
