Excellent venue for business lunch as well as happy hour! Staff very attentive, friendly and knowlegeable!
Took 45 minutes to order. No one checked on us after we received our food.
The waitress lost my order, which delayed service of a sandwich for over 25 minutes, way too much time for a restaurant that had maybe 20-25 other patrons. Then they got the wine price wrong, overcharging me by $14. They promptly fixed this issue when I brought it to their attention, however.
Service was super fantastic - our waiter was attentive and tried to steer us but we insisted on one dish which we ended up not loving, so they took the charge off the bill. The manager came over to talk to us as well. We intended to pay for it but it is nice that they care about our overall dining experience and didn’t want that one dish to leave a bad taste. We are definitely going back!
Our Server was outstanding. First time at this restaurant and we would return.
I made a reservation, but the place was nearly empty at noon on a Saturday. They have a lovely patio with a nice view. Good drink selection. Great service. Food came out quickly. The lobster roll was generous and uad large pieces of yummy lobster.
Very mediocre food. Decent service. Cocktail not great.
ADA lift is broken. Food was delicious. Caitlin our server was fantastic! The room is fun but cozy.
Fun place with good service and lot’s of TVs to watch the game.
Just meeting a few of the guys out to watch game 1 of the World Series
Awful service for there being hardly anyone in the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Forgot our orders and everything came out slowly.
It was noisy, but we found a corner where we could sill talk. It was a good place to go for reasonably priced food before the theater.
Service is pretty lame, would auggest checking on your waiters and waitresses, they are nice but rarely available and very slow!
We had a reservation and were seated quickly. The restaurant was about one quarter full in the early evening. We waited for over 20 minutes for service and finally left without any server acknowledging us. We even tried to politely catch the attention of two different servers and were ignored. My husband and I were appropriately dressed and didn’t do anything to warrant this treatment.
Took us almost 30 minutes to get our check after asking for the check. Other than that a good experience.
Food was okay. The short rib hash was odd since it was a heavily vegetable based dish. Short rib French dip needed note horseradish sauce. Fries were okay. Wings were okay. If you eat and have drinks while watching football your bill can easily be over triple digits. That hurt more than watching your team lose.
consistently good. fast and friendly service. host can be friendlier though (maybe he was having a bad day)
decent spot. nothing great. Just basic American food. No bad at all, just not great.
Way too noisy
It is a convenient location for a pre-concert or theater meet-up with a big group of people.
Service was outstanding! Outdoor seating offered nice views :)
Always good food! We had the chicken tacos and fish tacos on a Taco Tuesday. Our server was the wonderful Naomi. Highly recommended.
Noise level is too energetic. Can’t hear well enough to have conversation with someone across the table from you without almost shouting.
Made a reservation for noon to watch a World Cup game. Arrived at noon and had to wait in line and also wait for the host to get off the phone to even get to the host. Didn't get to the host until 12:27. Granted we were seated immediately after finally getting to the host but improvements need to be made on customer intake. I understand that there was probably a high volume of people given the special event but a good restaurant is usually able to fluidly manage a full house. Opentable even indicated that the noon time slot was no longer available for reservations so they had fair warning that it was going to be a packed lunch. The food was mediocre for the price. It's a good place to watch a game (TVs everywhere so you're able to watch the game no matter where you're seat) but only if you make reservations in advance and come earlier than when you intend to be seated.
calamari took forever and we had a play so we didn't even get to eat it. Otherwise, good
Nice venue for lunch and patio seating a must to appreciate the beauty of DTLA and its weather.
Not impressed by the food or service. Food came out in stages. by the time some of the final plates came out the rest of us were done. We had to keep asking for refills since our glasses just sat there empty during the meal. Once we were done was when we were offered refills. We were there when it was relatively empty for the service we received. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and accommodating that's why we gave it an overall 3 stars.
The chicken and waffles was out of this world! Juicy and crispy with great flavor. We also had the short rib Benedict, which was also fantastic. Service was exceptional!
I went there for Happy Hour after work on 4/30/18 around 4:30.
There’ve been many times before.
I don’t know why the food was terrible!
Calamari are too oily, not crispy! Sweet potato fries, Garlic Brussels are overcooked!
That was the first time.
What’s happened !
Did you change the Chef?
We both ordered the fish and chips... yummy! Great service. Recommended.
The waiter told us the kitchen was closed at 8pm after we were shown to our table. Our reservation was 8:30. Then when we stood up to leave, he took a food order from another couple. Then said ok, I guess they’re still open. I just think he wanted to go home.
I really like the burger and sweet potato fries at this pub. However, the noise level with all of the tvs and the super loud music is much too loud for any kind of conversation. And the AC is blasting cold. This is my last visit to this place.
My new favorite brunch place. Love the food
We were a table of 6 on 4/5/18 with a reservation at 11 am. 3 of the 6 of us ordered fish and chips. One person left most of her fish and chips and ate her french fries so the server took it off the check while the other 2 who ordered fish and chips ate it. The fish and chips were overfried and very dry. This was clearly the worse fish and chips i have ever had. Very unhappy with the fish and chips . We have gone to Bunker Hill before as our office it across the street from Bunker Hill Restaurant. We are hesitating whether we will go there for future lunches. It was just so bad. I would not recommend the fish and chips ever to other people. The other half of our party was pleased with their food which one ordered cobb salad, soup and salad, and someone ordered a pasta dish.
AWESOME food! The steak salad was the best! BBQ Chicken salad is good too!
LAFC official pub
Ordered the quinoa burger. It was filling and came with a salad. However, at $14, it should have come with fries. The fries were good and are meant to be shared at $6. Nonetheless, lunch would run you $21 for and sandwich, split fries, tax and tip. Thats pretty pricey for your own pocket vs an expense account.
The server was slow to in bring the tab check, we had to ask for it.
Food was good and the customer service was great !
Good vibe and staff. The jam session was great as well. Nice place for a date or to hang with friends.
