The Bull Ring
The Bull Ring has been a part of Santa Fe’s Culinary landscape for so long it's hard to think of a time when it wasn't there. The world famous Bull Ring offers all the most popular cuts, ranging in size from the the 8-oz petite filet to an enormous 40-oz porterhouse for two. The Bull Ring prepares steaks in an 1,800 degree grill and serves them on a sizzling hot plate with melted butter. The Bull Ring is also known for their juicy lamb or pork chops, mouthwatering barbecue baby back pork ribs or fresh seafood.
If you are looking for a more casual experience, the lounge is a local favorite, where you can mingle with old friends or make new ones in a Cheers-like atmosphere. The bar serves exceptional pub fare, including the succulent Prime Burger.
The most tender corn-fed mid western beef, served sizzling hot. Side: rice, hand cut fries.
Seasonal (with a Cinnamon Glaze)
Tender slices of roasted prime rib served on a french hoagie roll with au jus and french fries.
Enjoy Happy Hour specials from 3-6 pm Monday-Friday!

Delicious food great service! Great location in the heart of Santa Fe
The reservation at the Bull Ring included 6 at4:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. We arrived promptly at 4:00pm, the doors were still closed, but opened around 4:05pm. The dining selection was indoor or outdoor and due to the heat, we chose indoor dining. The menu is broad and tasteful, with a selection of seafood, southern food, steaks, a wide range of from the wine list and great Margaritas.
The service was excellent, and the waiter seemed to know exactly when to ask if we needed anything and ensured we were enjoying the afternoon.
There was however a bit of disruption when it came time for dessert. I had commented on the reservation that I intended to take a birthday cake, as it was my daughter's 21st birthday. The hostess said that a $25.00 surcharge is added for this request. After a brief discussion, she graciously waived the charge and we finished our dinner.
If a well prepared steak and medium sized portions of appetizers and entrees in a pleasant adult atmosphere is your style, then the Bull Ring is a good choice.
A party of six adults, ordering one appetizer, 2 cocktails and 6 entrees totaled a little north of $450.00. The food is a little better than RED Lobster, but he atmosphere is much classier.
Juan was fantastic and made us feel very special. We will definitely be returning to the restaurant and we will be asking for Juan. Cheers everyone!
Service was a bit slow.
The steak was excellent. Buttery, tender filet. Asparagus with hollandaise was great. As was the wedge salad. The coconut shrimp were perfectly fried, but there was almost too much coconut so it overwhelmed the taste of the shrimp. Outdoor seating was perfect! Overall a fantastic evening.
Small portions for large cost. Potatoes Au Grautin was only really for one not 2 or more to share
Thank you for an excellent dining experience.
We ate outdoors on the patio and enjoyed the attentive service and our dinners very much. The steak and lobster were the best
I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
I thought the waitstaff was very unprofessional and inexperienced. For the price point of the restaurant we were very disappointed with the service and ambiance. There was no“experience” of fine dining.
For two people, a typical bill is about $150-$200. The tables should have a table clothe, candle and maybe a flower. It doesn’t take that much to make a place feel inviting.
Next time we may try the bar for the happy hour.
We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary at The Bull Run. I had prime rib and my husband and a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection! I will definitely return next time I'm in Santa Fe!
Although the expense was on the high side, the meal was excellent and the service was great. After a little sticker shock I realized we did get our money's worth!
Great service and food
Good place but tasteless food and very small portions
Awesome experience enjoyed the food drink and evening.
Food was decent, steak was somewhat dry and lobster tail was tiny, but tasted good. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.
Had a very good dinner during restaurant week! My filet was perfectly cooked!
Great food and cozy ambience
Always consistent and excellent food and service.
The food was outstanding! We took advantage of Restaurant Week and I had the lobster tail and petite filet and my filet was cooked to perfection. Lobster tail may have been a tad overdone, but the filet made up for it. Sides of creamed spinach and their mashed potatoes were great. A great dining experience for the price
The restaurant special was delicious and definitely worth the price.
Great meal during restaurant week in Santa Fe. Good was perfect and cocktails were good
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was horrible. We were seated in what appeared to be a banquet room, across from a very loud large group. We could barely hear each other speak. This was very disappointing! It appeared that because we were there for Resturant Week, we were relegated to a less desirable seating area. This will be a loss to the resturant because my friend is moving here from Europe and was very disappointed in our experience. Although he thought that the steak and wine were delicious- he won’t be returning to the Bull Ring.
Food was delicious and the server was pleasant. I do think this place is pricey for what is served and the portions, even during restaurant week. The abundance of mirrors in the building is also a bit off putting in my opinion. I would come back though for special occasions.
Great food and service. With Reservations our table was ready upon our arrival.
We went during Restaurant Week, and it nice to be treated well, not so true with some other Restaurant Week restaurants
Great restaurant, we went for restaurant week with friends and everything was wonderful. We plan to go back next week.
A Santa Fe Staple. Great food, and wine list. As always, did not disappoint.
We so wish we were at a table in the front room. The music would have added a lot, and in the back room, we couldn't hear it, and the room was quite noisy. But the food was great.
Visited during restaurant week, excellent service and food! Very pleased!
Always a pleasure to dine at the Bull Ring! Best steak in Santa Fe! Love the food and the service.
Made the mistake of sitting in the bar instead of the dining room. The bar quickly filled up with large tables of people who were very loud and annoying. Made it impossible to relax and enjoy my meal
The food was amazing! The service was impeccable. The drinks were fabulous. Totally enjoyed our experience.
Very poor evening.
Things started out great in the bar, but once we got to the dining room it went downhill.
We were specific and said after we ordered we didn’t want our food to come out too quickly.
Within three minutes all of our food was delivered.
The prime rib was tough and we sent it back. They tried to replace the $50 prime rib with a $8 dessert and we said no thank you. They did adjust the bill in the end, but they seemed to make it our problem.
This is not a prime steak house.
Had a great dinner. The service is amazing and the food was outstanding! Best steak in Santa Fe!
Loved the very comfortable ‘booth’ in the dining room. Bar a nice place to stop if early like we were for our reservation.
Jaun is amazing
Lisa the Manager is wonderful
Everything about our experience was excellent. Would highly recommend it.
It was GREAT!! The service was great and the food was great!!
My fiancé and I went to have brunch for Valentine's day and we loved it! Great service, our server did not rush us and we had amazing food, we loved the clam showder and the filet mignon.
Came for Valentines lunch from out of town. I guess I got turned off by the hostess from the get go. Rather than seating us at our table she pointed to where she wanted us to sit. I saw her do this with a couple of other customers. This is a very old school steak place w/dated decor and Elvis blasting out of the speakers. I decided to go somewhere else after a drink b/c of the loud music. Honestly I don’t think I’ll return. The Burrito Come many across the street. It was much better and the staff was friendly!
