About The Brooklyneer
Our goal is to bring Manhattan the newly emerging food & drink artisans from of Brooklyn. We’ve included what we think are the best of the borough’s products into our signature dishes and cocktails, not to mention taps. Even elements of the interior originated in Brooklyn, most notably the 30-foot long bar top, which was once part of the old Coney Island boardwalk. Please note that The Brooklyneer is a gastropub and not a traditional restaurant.

The Brooklyneer Ratings and Reviews
I've only ever gone to The Brooklyneer for after work drinks and small plates but decided to try it for lunch. It was very quiet and my friend and I were the only ones in the bar. I can't speak for service when it's crowded but the bartender was really great and friendly. The food was definitely worth it and the cocktails were delicious. Definitely recommend this place for brunch.
I wanted to try more Brooklyn wines but only ONE is available by the glass. The others are only available by the bottle and I was the only wine drinker in our group. A place called The Brookyneer should offer ALL Brooklyn wines by the glass to encourage more people to try them.
Had a great friendly bartender that we liked so much we actually chose to eat at the bar and hang out. Came on St Patricks day for a casual beer-centric hangout without the frat boy vibe of many other local places. Good vibe and great food. I had the chilaquiles (super tasty and tender). My friends both got the pork belly breakfast sliders which I stole bites from and were phenomenally flavorful and juicy.
Highly recommend for gastro-pub vibe and great food and entertaining friendly staff!
If you're looking for a place that's mainly a bar with food (not a restaurant with a bar) then this is the place for you. I went with the assumption that it was the latter and was disappointed to find that it was basically a bar with seating. The food did not disappoint though...it was really good and the atmosphere definitely reminded me of Brooklyn. Will go back for the tacos and pickles!
