the food and service was descent. It was kind of annoying to go to an upper end place and have to deal with people cheering really loud for a sporting event on the TV.

Ambiance was very relaxing and cozy. Service was very good- to excellent. Only down side was under-cooked salmon, but everything else was top-notch. Serving sizes were plentiful. Great for special adult occasions.

We read the reviews for this restaurant and were so excited about eating here. It was my husband's birthday and we like good food. I ordered the halibut and he ordered the filet Oscar, which is tenderloin with crab in top. My halibut was overly coated in bread crumbs and Italian seasoning. The rice was mushy and flavorless. The only good thing on the plate was the citrus buerre blanc. BUT it didn't go with the Italian seasoning on fish. So bad, I only had a few bites. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly but also bland. The crab was super salty. And believe it or not, the bottom of the baked potato was burnt! It was not just disappointing because we paid over $100 and it was terrible, it was disappointing because we wanted good food! Anyway, the only saving grace was their cheesecake and the servers were incredibly genuine. They probably have to be with food coming out like that!!

Good basic food. Salads were bland and I would not order again. Halibut was a nice portion and tasty. Came with a few good asparagus but bland rice. Think I would probably give food and value 3.5 stars if that was available but good restaurant for Bend.

This was our first visit to the Brickhouse and it was a marvelous experience. We were seated at a window table and I had a cabernet and my wife had a champagne cocktail(outstanding). We were greeted by Lillian and my wife ordered the osso bucco and I the rack of lamb. THE BEST!!!
Lillian was always around but she wasn't noticed. Tiramisu for dessert as the topper. A great evening.

We have ate here many times. We were very disappointed this go around. I had Halibut, it was cold. My wife Had steak which was tough and grizzly. We will return and hopefully they will do better as usual.

Made our 60th anniversary a wonderful experience, and was very nice for you giving us the wonderful piece of cheese cake drizzled with salted caramel. Our steaks were perfect and the steamed clams were very well done in a delicious 😋 broth, thank you for a wonderful anniversary dinner.

We visited the Brickhouse for a celebratory dinner. We made reservations via Open Table, which was quick and easy. We arrived early but we're accommodated with no problems. The entrees for the evening included bacon wrapped scallops with a caprese salad, fish and chips, and the blackened ribeye steak. Scallops were perfect, the caprese salad was served with green tomatoes which was unusual and they lacked flavor, the fish and chips were very good, nice batter and not greasy, the blackened ribeye was a disappointment to the diner as it lacked the expected blackened flavor and was thick enough that the interior of the steak was bland due to mediocre seasoning. The service was excellent and we will try it again in the future.

My favorite place to eat when I️ am in Bend/Sunriver/Mt. Bachelor. Food is always exceptional. Ambience is unique and quaint. Great location. We were a little rushed for time and they were accommodating.

Staff is always professional and treat us well. This visit, however, we had a trainee who was filling our water glasses and picked my daughter’s glass up incorrectly. He was verbally excoriated by our server in front of everyone which made us feel a little uncomfortable.

We frequent the Brickhouse because it never disappoints. Delicious rib eye, wedge salad and delicious mushrooms to compliment our blackened ribeye. We always split the entre and salad and it is very satisfying.

Good food, good service, welcomed by name, sat immediately. Celebrating our adult daughter's birthday. Next to ours, cioppino was excellent; lots of good seafood, nice rich broth. Drinks excellent, too! Love to come back when our son is in town!

A very pleasant evening. We were seated promptly, the server was attentive, the commis was excellent, unobtrusively ensuring that we had everything we needed, and the food was very good. They have regionally sourced prime steaks, we had the New York which was excellent, and done to our taste. The wine list is mostly regional, maybe a smidge on the high side, but hey, Bend is a beer town anyway. A nice spot, we will return next time we're in Bend.

Brickhouse food was salty, overcooked and lacking in fresh taste. Service was average and prices are very high. Presentation of the food was not pleasing either. I was excited to try this restaurant because it uses fresh local organic ingredients. Unfortunately, these great ingredients were poorly cooked and served.

The steaks were very good for two of us, but the other two of us had the special of the night - halibut stuffed with crabmeat. The stuffing was nonexistent on one; both were very dry and overcooked. A $14 glass of wine was awful--a scant 7 oz and probably cost the restaurant $7.99 for the whole bottle. We requested a quiet table, but were informed that there were no quiet tables available that night. We could barely hear each other. Waaaay overpriced for what we got. We've been to the Brickhouse many times but this was our first bad experience. Will never take our friends there again.

Very enjoyable in cute little town.
Enjoyed the historical significance that the building was the original fire house built in 1920, 97 years ago.

The Brickhouse was hands-down our best dinner in Bend, Oregon during the week that we were there. The steaks were so tender and perfectly cooked. Lots of great appetizer and drink options, and fantastic service. Great location downtown with a laid-back, yet upscale feel.
