It was fun
Went to the Brickhouse on Sunday to celebrate our anniversary. The wine list was moderately priced. Appetizer and entrees were fantastic. Best of all was our server Nathaniel. He was so accommodating and friendly, knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. He helped make the evening special. We'd highly recommend this Bend restaurant.
This is my favorite place in Bend to grab a delicious, mouth-watering steak! The Filet Oscar is one of the best I have EVER had! Our service was phenomenal. Our waiter took extra good care of us and ensured our experience was excellent. The meals ordered by the other party members were just as spectacular; Fettuccini Alfredo and Chicken Marsala. The truffle fries are sooooooo yummy; indulge a little and order them as an appetizer! DO NOT skip out on this restaurant...it is a MUST if you live or visit Bend.
The Brickhouse is an expensive night out in Bend. We went there for a special occasion with family. Food was cold, service was sparse, drinks were weak. They need to step their game up to match the money their patrons put down for a meal there.
When traveling to Bend, we always stay at the Oxford Hotel. The Brickhouse is right across the street and is a fun addition to the neighborhood. Waiter said is used to be a fire station. Great food and generous quantities (we split the rack of lamb). Recommend it highly.
Our server was top notch! However, for the price the food was uninspired. My New York steak was just ok. For a $42 cut off meat I expected to be wowed. Not to mention our steak orders were mixed up. I ordered medium rare while my dining companion ordered well. I got a will done steak and she got a rare steak. The cocktail was amazing! I would go there simply to have the cocktails.
Great food and service, with good selections of wine. Love this restaurant!
great service . friendly waiter went out of his way to make us comfortable and celebrate our anniversary! JACK MUMFORD
Our server was really nice and did a great job however, the food was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced for what you got. Really disappointing.
Not terribly exciting on the food-front. The crab/shrimp Louis salad was just ho-hum, and the Chicken Masala was just average. Pricing seems very high.
Food was excellent. Waiter was awesome. The total experience made for a great night.
We found The Brickhouse in Bend to be a nice option for a good dinner. The Osso Bucco with the polenta was fabulous, as was the wedge salad. The Brickhouse New York was flavorful but a bit tough and difficult to cut, and the scallops were disappointing. The beer list was a bit limited, particularly considering they're in Bend; it would be nice to have more local options. The location is nice and our service was absolutely perfect!
My wife and I really enjoyed our evening at the Brickhouse the other night. We were on a date, and had some of the best dining service we have ever had at a restaurant. The server was very present and friendly, and she made it fun to order wine, appetizers and ultimately our steaks. The food was delicious, and we were able to easily converse and have a fun time without feeling rushed to finish and leave. We would definitely go back again!
The staff were all very attentive and professional. The food was outstanding from the quality to preparation. Everybody and everything were absolutely wonderful. The only suggestion we could make would be to turn off the TV, which is in the bar area. This is an excellent restaurant and I think the TV is a distraction to having a nice dinner with a spouse or friends.
Really great place for an excellent dinner. Service is awesome.
Delish food! Very loud, but fun for a group. Pretty expensive so save for special occasion.
Staff was courteous and efficient. Food, as always, was great!
Was a fantastic dinner. We went early for the early bird special and had s fantastic meal paired with a unique Malbec. Great experience!
The service was great. We got seated and taken cared of right away. The server Emily was very attentive and always smiling.
One of the best steaks I have had in a very long time.
We've eaten here several times before and thought it would be a great place for our 20th. anniversary dinner. We had a great table by the window and away from the door. That was very nice, unfortunately we also had a very loud group right to my back. They did finally settle down, maybe when they got their food. If there is any negative from having back to back booths, it's that you get bounced around when someone on the other side is moving a lot and not considerate.
The food is always very good and the caeser salad was the best we've ever had. Overall, a nice evening and got to watch it snow as well.
This was our first visit to Brickhouse and it did not disappoint.
Glenn, our Server was fantastic and the food was amazing. My wife and I had the Scallops and our son had the Seafood Pasta. Both were excellent!
We will definitely be back!!
Wonderful food and atmosphere. We had dinner to catch up with family. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Everything was excellent except noise level was high. We were a party of 4 - 60 year olds. We spent the night yelling to be heard. Good was excellent!!! Will definitely return but will be selective of where to sit.
Just a great place in Bend to eat.
Great place. We highly recommend it! The derive and meal was incredible. No hesitation in recommending it.
Great server, ambiance and menu. Worth visiting when in Bend. The location is fantastic for an evening out in Bend.
We were seated in the quiet back area. Service was good, food ok. Wine pairing great! Too full for dessert but have to go back for the Hula cake
The food was excellent and so was the service. It was very quiet until a few large groups came in but it was still a fantastic experience.
We were a group of six that ordered drinks, appetizers, and dinner. Specialty cocktails were excellent. Red wine selection ok. Cheese board had a diverse variety that everyone enjoyed. 3 different fish specials were ordered and all were superb. My husband’s steak was mediocre, but the sides were delicious. We sat in the back room were a fireplace kept us cozy. Wait staff was friendly and able to handle our sarcastic group.
Everything was good overall, but the value was way off. We had two steak entrees and an appetizer with water to drink. I just don't feel it was worth what we paid, there's no way. When you go, you're going to pay a premium for the ambiance and the experience of "high end dining," but I feel like I could take that same $120 and get food of the same caliber, just A LOT more of it. That's my only real gripe. Mediocre food, super expensive. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, and it wasn't too busy or loud, but this just wasn't my thing. It might be yours, so your mileage may vary.
Maybe we order the wrong things, but bolognese and Marsala were very underwhelming
Excellent meal! All 4 of us were delighted with our experience at Brick House!! Definitely will return!
Good service. Good food. A little too hectic and not as personable as we would have preferred. Very nice wine list.
Needed a good meal while in a business trip to Bend. Both service and food were very good and folks seemed to know each other. Very comfortable venue to enjoy a good meal and company.
Great food. Excellent menu. Outstanding service.
It was a slow Sunday and we couldn’t seem to get ther server to be attentive. We had to ask for water, bread and to order. For the price of this restaurant I expected far superior service.
Way to expensive for what you get. Value not there.
The steaks were outstanding but the sides of rice and vegetables were inedible. The service was so so. I will try other places in town before I go back there.
The food just wasn't up to par. The Ahi Tuna was old and should not have been served. It was $40 for bad food. When we told the waiter, no accommodations were made to the bill. The ambiance there is lovely however.
