I didn't mind the $49 for a NY Steak, but even though it was not quite medium rare, it was tough as nails. I couldn't eat it. The price point for what we got was a little off in my mind. Love the atmosphere and service, but for a steak place, the steak should be amazing. It was not. Whoever is buying either went cheap to max return or was had by the seller.

Also, I enjoy great wine, but $18/glass is getting a little out there too for wine that is just not that special.

The food could use more seasoning. We got crab cakes that were two crab cakes for $18. I understand seafood is costly, but the crab cakes could have been way more flavorful.

Pros - Great spot. Attentive service. Awesome wine list.

Cons - Service was rushed. Courses came out too fast and too close together. Ordered steak Med-Rare/Rare...came out basically raw. Shouldn’t happen when you’re charging $55 for a ribeye. Asked for double veg instead of veg and potato, got a measly few tiny sprigs of broccoli rabe and 2 carrots.

Had a reservation for 2, got seated in a back corner by a closet in a booth for 7 when there was a 2-seater booth available by the windows (should have immediately requested that table)... the food was pretty good but in no way worth the cost, definitely better options in town, won’t be wasting money there again

Having been to Brickhouse in the past, we were disappointed with our most recent visit. The mushroom dish was very rubbery and tasted alternatively of lemon or garlic but the taste was not blended. The crab cakes were rather bland as were the dipping sauces. Service was not attentative. We'd ordered another glass of wine when we still had about 1/4 glass left, but had to wait about 5 minutes with empty glasses. By the time the wine came, we were almost done eating. Because someone else had cleared our table (including the 1/2 uneaten mushrooms) the waiter had no idea if we'd enjoyed our meal, and he didn't think to ask. Definitely not worth it for the price.

We went to Brickhouse for our daughter's 35th birthday not too long ago. Making a reservation was easy on OpenTable, seated soon after we all arrived. Service was impeccable from the start to finish. We all ordered filet mignon, a couple of sides, cocktails, wine with dinner and dessert (complimentary for the birthday girl). Everything was prepared exactly as requested and was delicious. We will be back and soon!

Great place for a nice meal. Very friendly and attentive service. Warm, cozy ambience. Food was delicious and highly recommend the pear martini. Booths have plexiglass on sides, so didn't feel restrictive or empty like some Covid protocols.

We had never eaten here before. Decided to try rheum for our 25th anniversary. We were had a great experience and no regrets for taking a chance on somewhere we had not tried before. We will go back.

Waitstaff top notch. Front end needs more training. If i am early to my reservation and you sit me down to wait and someone is late for their reservation and you immediately seat them while Im sitting there,.... uh.... hello?????? Guess it pays to be late???????

I have always had a great steak and excellent service at the Brickhouse Bend, or maybe it's the other way around. Either way one can't loose!
