One of Bend’s best. Love the old Fire Hall and the history.
Food was awesome. Wine was awesome. And the Server was a fellow Texan. A great place to visit in the fantastic downtown of Bend.
The staff was amazing! From the greeter you the servers, everyone was great! The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere! It truly seems like everyone who works there enjoys the place! Nathan was great at making sure everything was wonderful. The greeter at the front truly was so inviting and he really sets the tone for the restaurant! We will definitely return soon! Last but not least the food is great, great presentation and great taste!
Great service! My grandpa loved his lobster tail, said it was just like growing up in New England.
Our first time at the Brickhouse was outstanding! Great steak, scallops, and caprese salad. It was pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
Great food and drinks, great service. Steaks are cooked/rested very nicely and temps were spot on. Always enjoy this place.
Great night out for our 17th wedding anniversary
Lobster n salmon was incredible crab cakes insanely good just wish there were more than two for the price
We brought in a special bottle of vino and was hoping cork charge of 20 bucks would be waved but instead we got desert and it was spectacular
We will be back
What a great place to dine. Every aspect of our experience (our second in a week was outstanding.
Loved every bite and sip! Service was great. Entire evening was fantastic!
Amazing ambience and service. Everything from the salad, appetizers to main course were wonderful.
It's been a while since we were at the Brickhouse nd it was a pleasure to get reacquainted. They have one of, if not the best menu, in Bend, food wine and cocktails. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly. I recommend the Brickhouse very highly.
The ambience was fine - steakhouse-norm booth seating. The dining room is smaller than one might expect, which is a bonus imo. Cute vintage building has appealing character with exposed brick (hence the brick house moniker). We had scallop appetizer sans bacon. The sauce with microgreens and mango slices was nice, but each scallop's texture varied, thus a hit and miss. We chose steaks as our mains, one 12 oz, one 14 oz prime NY, both med-rare. The latter was perfectly cooked and juicy and each bite savored through and through. The smaller steak, however, lacked any juice, but was pink and visually well-cooked, which, whose flavor was compared to the prior mentioned perfect slab, was underwhelming. Veggie (overcooked baby broccoli and carrot) and fry sides were basic and fine. Their selection of wines-by-the-glass were delicious and well paired.
Our grade - B. (Steak quality/flavor for the entire table. )
Birthday dinner seated right in front of the fireplace...very nice
This is the prefect, romantic dinner for two restaurant! Great service and even better food. I absolutely recommend any of their specials and their Marion berry cobbler as dessert.
Excellent food, well worth the price. Service was average, but not up to par for a 4 star restaurant. Main dinning room is quite loud
Outstanding, love the place.
My medium steak had no pink in the center and the creme brulee was so over-sugared and over-cooked that I had to use a knife to get into it and finally just sent it back.
I made dinner reservations for my wife's birthday this evening. We ended up getting there two or three minutes after our reservation time, but we were seated fairly promptly. The bus boy gave us water and some sliced bread after we sat down, and then we never had anyone stop by our table again; not even to take a drink order. After half an hour, we just took our stuff and left. Nobody even said anything as we left, apparently we are invisible. This put a really big downer on what was supposed to be a special evening for my wife and we certainly won't be going back.
Excellent steak, super nice and attentive server. Great clam appetizer. If you are looking for a great steak dinner in Bend, look no further.
I have noticed the busier this place gets, the quality of food goes down. My husband and I visits this place a few times a year and normally love it. Was not impressed the last time we went.
Simply amazing. One of the greatest meals I've ever had. Utterly amazing.
The food was awesome the drinks took a second but that's forgivable for the great service!
Good truck quality food, $270 for $100 meal, great atmosphere and service.
Lovely, the waiter was very knowledgeable and food was excellent!
Food and service was excellent. By the end of our dining it was getting loud at the bar, but it was Friday night.
Very good dinner. But not the place to be if you want a nice quite dinner and visit with friends. The noise was so loud we could not hear each other. Had a great server felt bad for him he had a bad time hearing our orders.
So much to like about this restaurant. For starters, the ambiance is wonderful. The restaurant is located in a converted fire station. How cool is that? The host and waitstaff are personable, friendly and make me feel welcome every time. And the food is outstanding from a menu full of a wide variety of choices. Go and enjoy!
Excellent steak, the best I have had, we will definitely be returning and telling friends and family!
My meal was great. My husband’s food had cooled down and the cooked vegetables were cold.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The wine selection was excellent, and the service was great.
A great place for seafood and steaks. Service was excellent. A bit pricey but OK once in awhile for great food.
Our waiter Glenn made the experience even more enjoyable.
The big thing for the Brickhouse is their steaks. I was not impressed. The filet was salty on the outside and not very juicy on the inside. I ordered medium rare and expected to see the juices running when I sliced into it, not so. Furthermore, it was an odd purple color on the onside, as if it was mostly cooked sous vide and just slapped on the grill at the very end.
As always, FANTASTIC. The food and service were excellent.
Everything we ordered was drenched in butter. We were a party of 5 and eat here once every couple months. And this time was the worst. Food was poor quality, maybe rushed and way too much butter for all of our steak entree and side dishes.
This place never disappoints. Although they were out of a couple of foods I wanted, I’ll put that down to a late seating. So many great foods left, so I was still in heaven, my steak was perfect..my Birthday, a free dessert, marrionberry cobbler, yum. Our waiter was phenomenal, wish I remembered his name. You can’t go wrong here.
We indicated it was our anniversary, but were seated near a large loud group regardless.
It was my first time dining at The Brickhouse with friends. They had highly recommended going there. It was a "10" for everything! Can't wait to take my family there!
Over rated. Hostess not friendly. No place other than cold entry to wait even w reservation. Food ok but definitely not worth prices- better places
