The Brewer's Art
We did a dinner for 4 before our show. We decided on a set of sharable orders for all of us to share and were VERY pleased. The food was great. Of course the bar offerings were great. The Tab was reasonably priced. The atmosphere and ambiance were great. Simply a great, great evening. Thank you Brewers Art, well done.
Very rude waiter
Best veggie burger EVER!
Thank you for handling our group
We got the shareable plates, and they were very kind to split our Caesar salad into two plates. It was good--fresh lettuce, just enough dressing, tasty anchovies.
The cava was excellent, as was the beer my friend had.
The cheese plate was a disappointment, though. Incredibly hard cheese between a not terribly tasty soft one and a beer/cheddar mix that was fine but nothing to write home about.
The crab/leek dip was very good.
In general--very good ambiance and drinks and I'll stick with the pretzel and main plates next time.
Exquisite food, can’t recommend the cheese board enough! They truly have something for everybody. Can’t wait for my next visit!
We had a great time at Brewer's Art. We arrived early and had a cocktail and conversation with the bartenders. There beer is very good but we elected to have the craft cocktails and they were outstanding. We got to our seats at 7:00 sharp and had great meals and service.
40th birthday get together. Perfect for 6-8 people. Quiet enough for good conversation but not so quiet you felt like you couldn’t enjoy yourself with some laughter.
We have eaten here several times. It is always very good.
Excellent food, excellent service, A+ beer.
Always fun!. I love to bring out of town friends here, especially those from Towson
Very limited menu. Very small portions. Left hungry then went to the Owl Bar at the Belvedere for more food.
Great place for a small gathering! Tight space, and sort of hard to find. But, the food was good, and the waitress we had was FANTASTIC. Thank you!
Great food and beer! Will certainly be coming back
Great place for a dinner or drinks with friends, especially if you are headed to a show at the BSO. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, as it feels like you are at a dinner party in someone's house rather than a restaurant. The decor and layout isolate the rooms and make it feel like a more private experience.
The food is eclectic and upscale but with that rustic home-style feel, with a good variety of options and not an overwhelming amount of items.
The beverage selection is also great, plenty of the house made beer selections coupled with a full bar of choices.
Great food in a gorgeous restaurant. Elegant, but comfortable.
Such a lovely venue, with good food, and friendly staff.
We ate in the bar area. Good service, with a server that was knowledgeable about the really good craft beers brewed there and elsewhere. We were visiting from out of town and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and conversation with the locals.
Great space. Lovely ambiance. And wonderful staff
Scallops were great but not much to it so ordered the brussel sprouts. They were great. Steak was tough. Very pricey for a mediocre steak.
Great beer, amazing ambience, very attentive service. Loved the place
Convenient place to have dinner before a show at the Lyric.
Went on a Sunday for lunch - great food, great beer & it all came out of the kitchen so quickly! No kids menu, but my 6 year old and 4 year old were both very happy with the skillet Mac n cheese and burger. The rosemary fries are delicious!
Dined in the Main Floor dining room with a party of 8 for my wife's birthday. Despite being seated immediately adjacent to the primary walkway through the restaurant, there were no difficulties during the meal; the seating is close enough to allow a party of eight to feel intimate and the room spacious enough that traffic behind us went unnoticed. Our server was attentive, and the food excellent. The skin on the roasted chicken was as crispy as un-breaded air-fried, the steak was cooked exactly as requested, and the sweet potato in the mussel broth was a revelation. One of the most enjoyable meals in recent memory.
Interesting menu. Eclectic. Good beer
Order came out separately by person. Steak salad had no steak. Instead of taking the dish back and redoing it properly, they brought out two steak to add on top and it was well undercooked and had to go back. Nothing we ordered was complicated. Go for the beer. Avoid the restaurant.
Very nice meal before a concert at the Lyric. My only complaint would be that they need a bigger sign. Walked completely around the building before finding the front door. I think the locals can find it and are happy with that.
My wife and I took her parents out for their anniversary and her mothers birthday for a special occasion dinner. The Brewers Art was a restaurant they had never dined at previously. The dinner menu selections were varied, and entrees ordered outstanding.
It was an excellent birthday meal! Thank you
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and attending a show at the Lyric. This was our first visit here and we had a fantastic experience. Our server Brian caters to all our needs and made some great suggestions. The beers were outstanding and I highly recommend the Scotch Duck Egg appetizer.
Great atmosphere and delicious food! I loved my cocktail ~ a De Peche Mode!!
The ambiance is great and we could have ignored the noise and 3 out of 4 meals only bing ok, (One meal was great) but when the waitress spilled a full glass of red wine on the table NONE of her colleagues helped her clean it and no manager came over to apologize. I would give them a 0 for service because the manager said nothing, the waitress tried & was kind but if her manager doesn't care about customer service there is not much she could have done.
We find ourselves returning repeatedly to the Brewers Art, not just for the beer, but for the food. The menu always offers a variety of choices and price ranges. Using some locally sourced ingredients, whether we are in the mood for a full entree, small bites or sandwich, it is sure to please.
We had lovely dinner. The waitress in particular was extremely nice as well as knowledgeable. In addition, the food was very good; the presentation was perhaps not exciting but the quality and taste was very, very good.
The food sucked for restaurant week. They gave me a fist full of food. I ate the seared cod which I took three bites of and dinner was finished. The ceasar salad was cafeteria quality food.
My date had the steak and fries. It looked like a dish they would have served you at Raven's stadium.
I should have ordered from the main menu which I have done in the past.
Stick with beer and fries. It's a better brewery than it is a restaurant.
Went for restaurant week Saturday. Excellent deal. Appetizers were amazing. Then we proceeded to sit and wait for over an hour for our main courses. Our waiter was attentive during this time and gave us a free round of beers. After we ate we asked the waiter what happened in the kitchen and said they were busy because of restaurant week and the kitchen is too small to handle a full dining room. This would have been ok, however, two out of four meals came out cool as if they had been sitting around made for at least half hour. Not sure how you can justify this by being busy. Anyway, I would not recommend going when they are busy if this is the case.
Beautiful old Baltimore upscale town home with all the rich dark paneling is a lovely setting for this restaurant. Food good and Restrictions Week pricing made it very affortable
Excelente comida y muy buenas bebidas
Cozy in the library on a cold night, but lively with a full house.
