The Breslin Bar and Dining Room
I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was quiet enough to have a conversation without asking my companion to repeat her statements. Kudos to our server. He was charming and most informative regarding the food and the reason for the name of the restaurant. Having had the Lamburger, it was of excellent quality and I enjoyed it. The chips were delish and the sorbet was of excellent consistency and taste!! I have already recommended The Breslin to my friends.
PS - Being so close to the LIRR, it made my trip from Long Island very easy.
Menu too limited. No changes at all. On professional wait staff. Not accommodative
Great food and service. It is loud, so if you are looking to have a more serious conversation, choose another place. If you are looking for a fun, hip place with great food and service - this is it.
Would not need to go back.
Our brunch meal was comped 100%. We tried to leave a tip on a card and asked that they ring up a coffee so we could do that. They never came back. That should tell you all you need to know.
Reservation right on time. Great table. Great food. If anything, too filling!!!
Lamb burger was fantastic.
Wait staff was attentive and gave us great recommendations.
Food was very tasty. Cocktails inventive and had a good variety of wine.
It was quite noisy and I had trouble clearly hearing my friends across the table.
I think my biggest complaint is the loud music coming in from the hotel lobby lounge area and the restaurant also had its own loud music. So this clashing soundtrack from each side was creating a pretty jarring aural experience.
Enjoyed my first visit to The Breslin for a dinner with clients last Thur., we were late arriving due to rain but the hostess was able to sit us almost immediately. We had a very nice relaxed meal, we were not rushed, great unique drinks, quality service.
Birthday dinner with my mom
I have always enjoyed The Breslin, but have seen a decline in quality of experience lately. Our table was not cleaned properly & my guest got what looked like jam on his sleeve. I noticed that the cocktail menu has been cut back too. It was still delicious, and it less noisy than in the past, but noticeably changed.
Great food and service always.
Good For dinner but not brunch. Too dark and the brunch food is pretty boring and unimpressive, overpriced
An OK spot for a meal but a better place to bring a laptop and work remotely.
One of the best places to meet in this part of town for great food, great services and a high energy atmosphere.
This place is super boisterous and pricey, but the food is very good.
Great ambiance and good food, large cocktail list..
It’s always a pleasure going to the Breslin. The food is always great and the service is too.
Great space for winter lunch or dinner too dark for spring brunch
The seafood sausage was amazing! Food was overall very delicious.
Everything was excellent. The Lamb Chops were amazing as well as the fries.
Food was wonderful and the ambiance is awesome. First time here and we will definitely come back.
We came here for the famous lamb burger, which is a good burger. However, we also got the arctic fish, and it was horrible. Couldn't finish it. Service and ambiance were great, and the place is quite lively. The food has turned out to be hit and miss, so besides the lamb burger, I don't know if there's anything else worth trying.
The tartine plate was a bridge too far, head cheese was just ok and rabbit unimpressive. FOIE Gras was great, as was the liver mush. Lamb burger was amazing and lived up to the hype.
The food was excellent. The service was very attentive. The decor was fun, but the music was so loud that it was hard to have conversation.
Lamb burger is always an amazing option, a nice cozy ambiance with a good energetic volume.
The lamb burger and lamb chop were great, but the desserts were AWEFUL. For both of the coconut rum baba and lemon saint honore, the bread parts were stale and stiff as if they were in the packed fridge for five days and the lemon saint honore got some weird scallion taste. (I’m serious!) We told about this to the staff who took the half finished dishes away but he didn’t care. Out server didn’t even bother to ask how the food was.
In short, lamb burger and lab chops are good but terrible dessert and disappointing service. It was also really loud there that we had to shout to each other.
We had breakfast. Lots of lovely, albeit pricey options. The eggs with lentils and the Greek yogurt were lovely. Lemon verbena tea was nice.
I’ve been here before so I know the food is good. It was awesome this time too.
Took forever to get the food. There was something wrong because as soon as we asked they fired it up and got it to us. One of the cocktails and my table also took awhile.
Just a little annoying but I was hanging out with a friend I hadn’t see in ages so having the extra time to chat didn’t hurt. But our stomachs started growling. That’s when it started to annoy us.
very disappointed...the food has definitely gone downhill.
Very trendy and fun, definitely a loud atmosphere. Hotel bar area almost NEVER has seating so be weary.
Unwelcoming hostess. Limited choice at brunch. No vibes. Food ok. All came down to a burger. Gloomy environment.
Excellent breakfast options and everything very fresh
Good food that is absolutely not worth the cost and terrible service. Not going back.
Place wasn’t even half full and we had to flag down the waiter just for water, for a second drink as ours sat empty for awhile. Eventually had to get the manager to tend to our table.
Outstanding Business breakfast spot with a good menu for everyone. Turmeric juice was a really special tonic to get started. Great coffee. Efficient service. Will return.
Food was lacking flavor, not terrible but definitely not worth the price. Service was poor, they forgot to give us our menus and the waitress smelt of body odor which was not appetizing. Cute decor in the least.
Very limited menu. Extravagant prices. SUPER LOUD! Food was ok.
It took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did, one member of our party was not served and had to wait another 10 minutes to get her food. No apologies from staff or management. I had to get up twice to ask where our food was. Really bad form.
Why, when ordering a highly priced breakfast, do you require anyone wanting eggs other than fried to order the alternate eggs as an EXTRA charge. This has never been required of me in 40 years of business travel. The tables are too small for the plates you use and the room is dangerously dark. The staff are interested. On a busy day you could ask why the restaurant was so empty.
