The Brasserie - Grand Cayman
Through these years of research, training, and planning this evolution, the Brasserie was proud to re-open its doors in the beginning of 2010 with a brand new organic garden, state of the art exhibition kitchen, a walk-in wine room with over 300 selections kept at the perfect temperature and their own fishing boat which ensures they always have fresh catch from the sea.
The Brasserie restaurant is a boutique 65 seat restaurant with bar that warms the soul with its British colonial charm. The restaurant is a hidden gem known by locals for its incredible fresh and interesting modern Caribbean cuisine.

Very cool place. The salads were good with local ingredients including their coconut bacon. The mains were out of this world, truly unique flavours. And try the sofas!
Our dinner at the Brasserie was really delicious. We had the Chef's Menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course. If you're thinking of a special night out, we'd highly recommend you go !!
overall great place. The best pizza on Grand cayman
Rude waitress, food was nothing more than average. Polite pass.
The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The service was prompt and without fuss. One of the nicest restaurants we ate lunch in in Grand Cayman.
Amazing food and great experience! Loved it!!
Best price on the finest lobster on the island. This is a must go to restaurant for us every year. Most years we go there twice in a week. We like all natural, non-gmo, homegrown, organic food and this place incorporates all of that into delicious expertly presented dishes. I would not normally order chicken in a high end eatery on an island famous for fresh seafood but the free range chicken is prepared here like no other.
The mean was Devine. We had an amazing conch salad, a very fresh and tasty tomato salad. And for the main course we had the best lobster I’ve ever eaten. They use produce, eggs, and seafood sourced locally. All the seafood is freshly caught. Our sever was a lovely lady named Virginia and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would go again any time.
Beautiful setting and delicious farm to table food and specialty drinks
It was a wonderful experience. Everything about it was excellent. The food and wait staff were exceptional. I would highly recommend the Brasserie.
Food and cocktails were outstanding! I could taste the freshness and it was unbelievably tasty. The lobster was delicious but my favorite was the wahoo. Oh and the coconut bread is out of this world. Our server was the sweetest and brought us the us the homemade ice cream at the end. YUM!!!! I could eat the honey ice cream every day of my life. A true “old school” Caribbean style restaurant. A Cayman MUST.
The Brasserie has been one of our favorites for years. Innovative menus, the freshest fish, excellent wine and beer list and wonderful staff. This visit was perfection. Fresh Wahoo cooked to perfection accompanied by an amazing Pinot Gris from Washington concluding with an excellent cappuccino. The ambiance was entrancing with cool fusion jazz and world music.
Outstanding! Clearly the top restaurant on the island...
When you REALLY like a restaurant over a number of years, the occasional slip in service is somewhat disconcerting. PLEASE don't get me wrong--the Brasserie is still a premiere dining location in Grand Cayman with outstanding food, ambiance, staff and value. We tried the MSP ( Monday Secret Pleasures) menu for the first time, and we were not disappointed in the least with the amazing 3-course meal with a very good bottle of wine for two (2) people for $99 CI. The server was pleasant and outgoing, the Swordfish Escovitch appetizer and Seared Tuna main were superb, and the Pineapple and Star Fruit dessert paired with a superb German Pinot Noir was a treat. It would be a five star experience if we were not seated 10 minutes late and spent two (2) hours at our table due to a slow kitchen due to a large group's order going in just before our order. The gift of feedback--while the manager was genteel, he pretty much let his server "hand out to dry" during the delay in the delivery of our main course--just some attention and acknowledgement would have been strong service recovery. That being said, we are appreciative of the staff treating our son to a birthday dessert, and will definitely return to this amazing restaurant--hopefully to return our review to five (5) stars.
Outstanding dinner with impeccable service..always our favorite on the island!
One of our favorite restaurants in Cayman. The food was ok, not quite up to the usual ‘fantastic’. The service was poor, lots of new staff, hard to communicate with them. Loved the gingerbread cookie with the coffee, nice touch!
Fantastic food and drink. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.
Excellent service and phenomenal food. We dined there for our twentieth anniversary and the staff was so kind and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
I cannot compliment the servers, chef, and all the staff we encountered enough. Our dining experience was truly outstanding. We all agreed that The Brasserie will be on our list of places to dine in coming years when we visit Grand Cayman. We try a new restaurant every year and this one is definitely “a keeper”.
The food and service were excellent, then we took a tour of their gardens. Fascinating and wonderful
Special Dining experience. Chefs tasting and wine pairing were excellent. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend. Best dinner in Cayman. Fresh fish off their boat and truly farm to table from their onsite garden. Amazing service by all staff...from check-in, to our server, to all the other staff. You can tell they enjoy what they do. And their flowers are gorgeous! They had fresh proteas, which were our wedding flower so it was the perfect setting for our first wedding anniversary dinner!
Exceptional service and exceptional food! One of our must go to places when we visit The Caymens. Their garden is just lovely...such a beautiful and relaxing experience!
The Brasserie is my favorite restaurant in the Caymans, but I feel like the quality has gone down in the last few years. It's still great and probably better than anything within striking distance of the price range (which is high, but not astronomical).
I was there twice with my fiancee and on the first night, the waitress spilled a full glass of water all over me. She didn't even bring me a new glass and I was basically sitting in a wet spot the rest of the night. AND I didn't even get a free dessert!! Unacceptable service.
All outstanding. The pate, charcuterie, cheese appetizer. Red Snapper and Tuna as the main course and a molten chocolate dessert. Excellent Espresso. And an excellent wine list. 5 Stars.
It was an expensive meal and the food was not as good as we experienced on prior visits.
My favorite restaurant hands down. Farm to table is beyond what they are doing here.
Wonderful experience. Treated like royalty. Highly recommend!! Make sure to tour their onsite gardens.
Food was amazing service was excellent. Onpar price wise with other nice restaurants on the island.
We read about The Brasserie while searching for a place for a delicious lunch during a stop in George Town on a Crystal cruise which also has delicious dining. Off the tourist path with no views, The Brasserie has a lovely ambience and truly fresh and expertly prepared dishes. The staff was attentive and seemed to really like working there and praised the gardens and fishing fleet which provided such great ingredients. We would recommend most highly.
Out of the seven restaurants we dined at on the island this one had the best cuisine. They have their own garden (and will give you a tour) and two of their own fishing boats. We also had very friendly and engaged servers.
Incredible food and drinks. Excellent wine list. Ambiance was lovely and service impeccable!
Our favorite restaurant in Georgetown! Always great food and service. The staff is so friendly and we love coming back!! Thank you, Virginia!!
Everything from food to drinks tasted really fresh. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Amazing place. Super organic. Exceptional quality. I’m Italian. I know what quality is :)
This place is amazing from its service and tour of their gardens to its fresh food and beautiful ambiance. Everything was made from local fresh on site grown ingredients. We loved it!
Great place. Love to go there! Tasting menu was a bit disappointing
