There are many restaurants in the Deer Valley / Park City area with great pizza, burgers, fish and salad. This is NOT one of them. Pleasant service wasn’t enough to compensate for food mediocrity.

We frequent the Brass Tag whenever we visit Park City. I was happy to see that the restaurant was vibrant and busy, on other occasions, (off season) it has been more of a quiet and cozy place off the beaten track of Main St. Our last visit was super busy, (EVERY table full) but the wait staff, manager and bartender really displayed great teamwork to keep the quality and service up and made our dining experience pleasant and memorable.

When my meal came I ordered ice tea and never received the ice tea. I had to go get my own ketchup after I had finished half of my fries. We did not see any wait staff after food arrived even though glasses were empty(with the exception of water). When our table was fully cleared I went to the bar to pay our bill vs wait any longer. We were told that it got very busy all at once and they were sorry. While apology was appreciated, there was no other form of service recovery offered.

We went to dinner with the kids. Easy to get to from staying at DV St Regis. Be prepared if you take kids. They give them iPads with the kids menu and then they can access games. Didn’t give parents a choice if kids got that or paper menu. We would have preferred paper menu. Food was fine.

We were very disappointed in the food. This was our second visit and nowhere near as good as the first. DO NOT HAVE THE RISOTTO. It is thick, sticky and tasteless. Stick to the basics like meatloaf and you will be fine.

I don’t regularly write reviews so a little constructive criticism.
Firstly the service here was excellent. Front desk to wait staff and bat staff were super attentive and on it.
Some of the food was great and then a few others the temperature felt on low side - This happened with soups, lasagne special and the bison meatloaf.
My wife’s soup and steak specials were apparently outstanding.
But please alter the French onion soup - richer beef broth, proper cheeses running all over the top, and smoking hot. I would definitely pay @$14-16 for these changes than the $10.

Meals were all way overcooked and came out haphazardly. Also took an extremely long time to get a drink in a relatively small restaurant. Waitress was nice and back staff were attentive but food quality for an expensive restaurant trying to claim to be upscale was incredibly poor.

Host was horrible. Tried to seat us in the overflow room when we had made reservation a month in advance and tables were available in restaurant. Very rude.

No complaints in general other than the seating arrangements. We had two toddlers with our group but were assigned a tall table which made the normal high chairs completely unusable. The staff didn't make an effort or try to improvise to accommodate the needs and we had to hold down the two wiggly babies all night on our laps which made dining experience much less enjoyable. And the men's bathroom had no changing station.

Good food, good service. But VERY expensive as is anything that sports the Deer Valley name. If the prices were more moderate (my hamburger was $23), we would go more often

Must have been an off night because we have eaten there before and remember it being better. The kitchen really struggled. The Caesar salad had no flavor, the salmon was woefully overcooked and the bison meatloaf came out in pieces. The waitress was inattentive forgetting to bring a second glass of wine but still charging for it. We won’t be back as in the restaurant business you are only as good as your last meal.

We enjoyed what we ate (we ordered a variety of the appetizers) & the pizza was good - we liked the crust as well as toppings which may or may not be everyone's favorite depending on where you're from. Service was excellent & quick.

It was not a very flavorful meal. We had the beef filet and it was just ok. Dessert was a strawberry cobbler and even it lacked flavor. The staff looked tired, like they just rolled out of bed, but were super nice. They gave us some bread and butter on the house - kind of a random act of kindness. We didn't have to wait long (although we had a reservation) on a Thursday night when Sundance Film Festival was going on.

Service was fine but food was very sub-par and at those prices, extremely disappointing. Wish we had chosen somewhere else to eat for NYE. All 6 of us in our party were very unhappy with the food and all ordered something different. Even dessert was not good.

I assume the restaurant was very busy with the holidays. Service was good until it came to actually serving our meals. Our food was cold, and our daughter’s meal inexplicably lacked the risotto on the salmon with risotto. The omission was corrected promptly, and the new risotto was hot, so that was good. Overall the food was okay, the location convenient, and the staff welcoming. It’s worth another try at a less busy time.

We’ve been fans of Brass Tag on the past, but we’re disappointed on our last visit. First, no hot toddy on the drink menu... they used to make a great one! At dinner( 2 adults, 2 teens)... the French onion soup had to be sent back ( it was Luke warm)... and our son’s entree of wings we’re ready till nearly the end of dinner. Waitress was nice and friendly.. but the wings should have been taken off our bill.

We enjoyed the Duck with port and fig sauce as well as the salmon and bison meatloaf. Chimichurri chips were very chrispy with a light sauce and white cheese drizzle. Best app was the avocado fries which was avocado slices with panko breadcrumbs. Prices are comparible to area resorts (still pricey though).

Very simple menu. Restaurant seemed a bit dated. Avocado fires overrated. Steak was good but came with mashed potatoes and yams...no greens...kind of strange.
Our waiter Tim was very nice. Think they need to update a very tired menu and the decor

Worst Thanksgiving dinner in my 60+ years! $50 a plate mess! The food was cold and unappetizing. Let’s start with the soup the only choice on the buffet was butternut soup that was tasteless. The only salad choice was one salad, with lettuce only, drenched in dressing until it was Limp and unappetizing. Next there was cold carrots lukewarm squash and mashed yams with no seasoning at all. Really? Threeorange vegetables were the only choice. Let’s talk about the dressing, stuck to the Oversized heavy spoon and tasted terrible. No mashed potatoes, however there was cold gravy for the turkey! This was all set up on top of the bar very few choices for a buffet.
Pumpkin cheesecake had the worst taste I couldn’t finish it. Actually, I didn’t eat much of this $50 dinner.

The Avocado fries are unique and tasty, creamy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. The bison meatloaf was a big hit with our group, as was the salmon. All our dishes were perfectly cooked and far from the “same old, same old”. The waitstaff was very friendly, but professional. Everything came together for a perfect evening
