Absolutely a delicious dinner the wait staff manager and everyone involved were professional courteous and attentive . A perfect night. The food is amazing.
The Brass Rail never disappoints! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there on a recent Thursday evening. We were pleased when we were led to a quiet table in their back room. Our fish entrees were delicious. My wife ordered the Bronzino, which was perfectly done and attractively presented, while I chose the Halibut, also done to a tee. We shared the generous tre colore salad, which easily fed two. I would definitely recommend The Brass Rail for any special occasion. While not inexpensive (roughly $40 - $60 per person for dinner), the restaurant offers good value for money.
Great service, nice selection of food from small plates to steak dinner.
A great place to have a drink or dine with friends.
Better have a reservation. It’s very popular.
Always a fine dining experience! Never disappoints 😀
The restaurant was very crowded despite that the food was delivered quickly and hot. The menu items were very tasty. Loved it.
Sat near the bar which was much quieter than the back tables. Salads and soup were outstanding. Sliders and meatloaf also great. Our best visit yet!
Excellent food and drink. Accommodated our large group at the last minute and provided oustanding service.
Wonderful food and service.
The Brass Rail is always a good experience. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic (my Mom said the filet mignon was the best steak she'd ever had!). Highly recommended.
Brass Rail lives up to its excellent reputation. Food choices are many and eclectic. Look forward to going back and trying more. Tonight's choices were short rib quesadilla, fabulous duck breast with interesting side dishes and my friend's cheesesteak sandwich. Excellent dessert choices as well. We had key lime pie and a yummy cherry/pear streusel with homemade ice cream. Great place for everything from a basic burger to a gourmet meal.
Great food, good service
Went for lunch. Delicious meal, great service. Recommend.
Always loved this place. We usually go earlier around 5:00 which has a more subdued atmosphere than the later hours. Very busy and loud hard to hear a personal conversation or the ambient music. I ordered a special which was “ok”. My husband has long awaited the return of the stuffed pork chop which had been removed from the menu fir a while. Sad to say he was disappointed as it was not quite the same and was filled with minced garlic that he detests, so he had to pull out all the stuffing to make it palatable. We will return as it has a nice feel and I have enjoyed previous meals, but I think the stuffed pork chop is off my husbands wish list.
Food is always delicious you can go for a casual burger and fries or have a special dinner
As always the food was outstanding......the service this time was a bit slow....
We've eaten at the Brass Rail numerous times now. The food and service is always great. My only complaint is that its very dark in the dining room area. Especially close to the faux fireplace. I've literally had to use my cellphone flashlight to see the menu. Other than that, no complaints.
Very good food and service was exceptional.
They have great food. Very intelligent decor. High end clientele. One thing is missing - greenery outside. It looks like a hole in the wall, some damp styld parking lot entrance. (We walked up and down the block few times trying to understand if this is the right entrance). Fortunately for them and customers , Few large scale greenery planters would elevate the experience.
Always a fave! Especially the fried oysters! I only wish the serving was a tad more generous.
Always a reliable fave! I just wish the fried oulyster plate was a tad more generous!
Beautiful lunch outside! Food was very tasty!!
Dinner was excellent!
Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Food & service great! My new favorite neighborhood restaurant! So glad to be back!
Always a fantastic meal and service.
Food was delicious and service was top notch.
Nice place. Solid food-good service-solid wine/cocktails-excellent value.
Go with good people and it will be a truly memorable meal.
Hint: it’s casual dress. They say ‘smart casual’ or worse ‘classy’. It’s a nice casual place. Shorts? Sure. Jeans? Def. we sweat this out first time and it wasn’t worth the thought.
Everything is just perfect. Food and service wonderful
Had the lobster cobb salad and the sancerre wine. Very VERY good on both counts.
Always great food
