Food & service great! My new favorite neighborhood restaurant! So glad to be back!
Always a fantastic meal and service.
Food was delicious and service was top notch.
Nice place. Solid food-good service-solid wine/cocktails-excellent value.
Go with good people and it will be a truly memorable meal.
Hint: it’s casual dress. They say ‘smart casual’ or worse ‘classy’. It’s a nice casual place. Shorts? Sure. Jeans? Def. we sweat this out first time and it wasn’t worth the thought.
Had the lobster cobb salad and the sancerre wine. Very VERY good on both counts.
Always great food
Brass Rail has always been such a top notch restaurant. Creative and delicious drinks and food! And wonderful service.
Great place for dinner
Tasty food- excellent cocktails and not noisy
This was our 4th visit. And it was great. The food and service was spot on. This has now become our go to restaurant
Always an amazing night
I was there for lunch with two very active 3 year olds. We were treated so well. The server was so accommodating to our needs. Great food. The girls loved it, and so did I

We have been going to the Brass Rail for years.
Never disappointed. Excellent food.
Amazing food and service!!
Always a great meal with great service
Our second time there and still a great experience. The food was great and the service was spot on....we will be back for a 3rd time
Haven’t been for awhile, they haven’t skipped a beat. Just a great restaurant. Food was outstanding, wines are not overpriced, had a new Chardonnay that was outstanding for the price. Peter our waiter was knowledgeable , friendly and attentive and engaging in conversation even though the restaurant was very busy. We will be going back often now. We also love Heirloom Tavern in Glen Head. Same owner.
Fantastic all around! Kids and parents loved the food and service. Steak; Surf and turf burger; blackened mahi-mahi; chicken parm; ahi tuna burger...yum yum yum!!!
Bartender (Allison I believe) was amazing as was the food
I feel bad because of the pandemic, but they have no wait staff now. Food delicious.
Great staff, wonderful food - very good value. I would definitely recommend it!
Good food but slow service.. Tables are VERY close making place loud. Dont think id go back
First time here very impressed with the atmosphere, service and food. Prices are fair but I wouldn’t order the key lime pie it was basically cheesecake. We both had fish entrees and they were delicious. Definitely will be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love this restaurant. Food was excellent. Everyone was happy!
Every Time my wife and I go there the food is incredible and we say we are going to have the same thing next time but we wind up trying something else and say the same thing. The food really is outstanding, Everything is. Have not had something we do not like yet.
Had a lovely time doing an early Father’s Day dinner with my parents; Brass Rail has great bar food and small plates as well as entrees. Would recommend the spicy tomato mussels for the excellent sauce, as well as any chicken dish as they were all perfectly cooked.
Consistently good food/service
Love this restaurant. Great menu. Many interesting choices. Our only concern was that the service was a bit slow.
Food and drinks always delicious! Never disappoints!
food was excellent and service was perfect.
Food was spectacular! Great menu with lots of selections. The reservation was for Sunday brunch. Very little traffic. No people - could be the town and Covid. But the service was excellent and we weren’t rushed. Ambiance was a little lacking but the restaurant is
Excellent food, drinks and service at this Locust Valley American bistro. We enjoyed the steakhouse wedge, the pork chop and the oyster and shrimp po boy.
