I love bqe . it was a few things i would adjust . i love live music but saturdays seem too busy for live music. I think the environment was amazing great food and the service was great. The drinks are pricy for the size !!! There should be some cheaper options yikes !! But overall i enjoyed myself :)

The food was good but the service sucked! I waited almost an hour to get my food. The waitress had an attitude and rarely came to my table. Took almost 20 mins to bring back my card after check and never brought back my brothers change. The ambiance is great but the service is not.

Music was entirely too loud; there were 2 parties of 5 or so people after work just trying to talk and you couldn't hear yourself...on a Tuesday! Entirely the wrong vibe with overly loud music in a fairly n empty establishment

The food was amazing. The only issue I have is the restaurant is sort of small. Also the wait time for our food was nearly 30 if not more. If you have time to wait the food is worth it.

We were asked to move to the bar because our waitress had another group waiting for a table and they had reservations. I initially thought she was joking when she said she hated to be the bearer of bad news but we soon realized she was serious. We didn't move right away but after hearing that it was just uncomfortable and I was quite offended. We had a reservation and we were having fun and drinking our carafe of mimosa which was supposed to be unlimited sooo long story short we didn't finish that. But no never again will I or anyone I'm in network with patronizing this establishment.

I was not impressed on my visit this time . I have been here multiple times and truly enjoyed myself. Our reservation was wrong with the seating . We usually sit on the side where the Stage is. We were seated on the opposite side and did not enjoy the live music as much. There was a birthday party of 75 that took over the entire establishment. I was disappointed, but I will go back.

The hostess was very accommodating. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. She provided outstanding service. Overall, great food, drinks and service. The Salmon and the Chicken with Waffles are delicious!

Arrived and there was literally 100 people waiting to get seated, some had reservations and some did not. Once we arrived, we were just told to go stand off to the side. Informed greeter we had reservations, showed up 30 minutes early and he advised us that it will be a 2hr 45 minute wait. Individual at the bar informed us, he visits often and it is first come first serve. They never honor the reservations. Fire hazard for sure, the place seats roughly 200 people and there was close to 500 individuals in the location and another 60 waiting outside.

The food and service was very good. However, the limited time seating was a disadvantage due to wanting to see the live entertainment. We were asked to move down a few times to accommodate others.

The best part of the dining experience was the band, Gritz and Jelly Butter. I ordered the turkey wings and they were ok. My husband really enjoyed the fried chicken. We sat near the band for the first set, but were told we had to move to the bar for the second set. A little disappointing.

Food was excellent I had the red velvet waffles. Service was extremely slow reservation at 10:45 am didn't receive food until 11:45 due to there only being one waitress. The waitress had to do everything make drinks at the bar take orders but she was very nice.

Great neighborhood place, a bit small & crowded. With the crowds they bring it they could use a bigger location. Food was bland. Music was nice but loud, you can’t have a normal conversation almost as loud as a club. Table reservations are only good for two hours. Nice downtown gem for a quick casual girls/guys outing.

It was a Thursday night, a little dead. The comedians there were sub par at best. One thing that stood out as a great thing was the food. Our table of 9 enjoyed the food. Will be coming back for that.

My family and I frequent this restaurant for breakfast on Sundays. This restaurant has become a must visit for breakfast. My Soldier spouse is stationed in Virginia and he postponed his departure time to have breakfast here, because we love the Red Velvet Waffles w/ Chicken and the customer service is very welcoming :-). This restaurant has never disappointed us.

Went there on a Sunday night. The restaurant was full but not packed. We were seated right away and our server was excellent. We knew what we wanted to order and our food arrived very quickly. That was the good part. Drinks: No teas or leamonade..Coke machine not working..no draft beers only water and Alcohol available. No problem. Ordered a Brooklyn leamonade for $12...Drink was so watered down, my wife who doesn't drink at all guzzled it down.Cool..ordered the Buttermilk fried chicken..chicken was so burnt had to pull the skin off just to eat it..Wife had the red velvet chicken and waffles...wings were piping hot..waffles ice cold..our server did the best job to accommodate and she alone is the reason for 3 stars..I'm not one to send my food back so we just took the "L". Overall the ambiance was cool and the music was on point..Maybe we were there on a bad day?...it happens..but on 1st impressions I won't be back.

The food was great, the service was not so great. It took about 20 minutes to get drinks. Our waitress disappeared right before our food was delivered. I asked the guy who delivered our food for syrup and hot sauce the guy said ok and never came back, asked another waitress she brought it right out. Our bill was $95 gave the waitress $115 she didn't say thank you or asked if we needed change. We exited the restaurant and no one even said thanks for your business. Again the food was great but overall service was terrible.

Had a 6:30pm reservation. Did not receive water until 7:02pm and did not get food until 7:52pm! Mind you we were told we had a 2hr maximum on our table. Wanted dark meat but the restaurant ran out of it and had to settle for white. The soda machine was not working properly. Our server was awesome and tried her best to make up for the horrible service we received from the back and bar.
Not a place to go if you are hungry and want good hot food with decent portions. 1st and last time visiting

We were late for our reservation and lost it but were immediately accommodated to an even better table! We were originally told we would only have an hour and a half but we're able to stay for about 4 with no problem. They let us bring in special effects for the bday and the staff were super friendly and accommodating! They even gave us a round of Birthday shots! We definitely recommend this for great food, drinks and ambiance!
