Fusion / Eclectic

Proclaimed "Completely Fabulous!" by The New York Times, The Box is the ideal facility for a night out with friends, family, or a date. Additionally, PANDORA has established itself as "the paradigm of business entertainment." The show itself, hosted by Cirque du Soleil's MC Raven O, will leave the viewer breathless at the creativity of the Box's refreshingly new take on dinner theater. Variety acts such as Erik Sanko and his troupe of marionetteers performing original puppet shows created exclusively for The Box, The James Gang, 3 singer-dancers who blend hip-hop lyrics with a Harlem renaissance style and look, and of course the famous Hammerstein Beauties are some of our frequent performers. PANDORA's acts are constantly changing and our executive chef, Justin Hilbert, prepares cuisine that is just as creative as the show. Join us and experience the journey that is PANDORA.

A fun place to visit at least once. Drinks are a rip-off.

These ratings are not applicable due to an OpenTable error. The Box is not open for the dinner show on Friday nights eventhough OpenTable allows you to make a reservation. My boyfriend and I planned our Friday night around this show and showed up only to find out our reservation did not exist and there was no 7 pm show. OpenTable needs to delete this option so they do not ruin other people's evenings. I have always been pleased with OpenTable until this occured. It was a huge disappointment.

It was a fun evening... the show - GREAT, the space - wonderful, the performers -talented, sexy and engaging. BUT, we were seated in a booth with 2 other couples and barely room to breathe... BIG negative, especially since the booth seemed designed for 4, not 6. And the food, while not bad, was clearly a cut below what you might expect in New York. I assume because dinner service is a newer thing for the Box (I visited prior, but late night, for the show and the scene--no food) and will improve over time... I hope? And I truly, truly hope that they won't seat people six to a booth in the future unless they all know each other or consent beforehand!! Thankfully, the seating was so tight that the 3rd couple left halfway through!

This place is a complete nightmare. My husband had an emergency so we tried to cancel our reservation the day prior, but they were incredibly rude and said it's not possible, even though the website said cancellations are allowed up until the day of the reservation. They proceeded to charge us $300 even though we were unable to come that night. Any other restaurant would have gladly canceled our reservation. We told our friends to avoid this place at all costs, and are in the process of writing a scathing review.
