For the price we paid (upscale dining experience) it didn’t at all feel that way. First, we were kindly greeted by two young ladies at the hostess desk, both of whom were not appropriately dressed to host. Our table was clean and covered in linen as expected, but the floor around us should of been cleaned, too. I noticed a lot of crumbs on the floor and the runner next to our table should have been replaced months ago. Our waitress, Heidi, was awesome. Her demeanor and experience made our experience, better. While we waited for our food, we couldn’t enjoy the good music playing, as it was not louder then the now three people at the hostess station. So, their loud conversations and giggles overshadowed the music. As we looked out the window, our view was of the valet attendant who was constantly taking a puff from his vaper. Overall, the food was good, but the ambience, or lack thereof in this case, made this dining experience just okay, but definitively not worth the price we paid. We will not be back.
The food and drinks were amazing as always. We are never disappointed.
This was our first time at The Bottle and we were not disappointed. The place was very clean and comfortable. The noise level would have been excellent were it not for a noisy air handler over our head. Every time it switched on, the noise dominated everything else. The food was excellent. My wife and I shared the Spicy Bottle Rocket Shrimp Shrimp appetizer which was very tasty. The portion was huge!! The main courses were also excellent. My wife had the Pan Seared Georges Bank Sea Scallops and I had the Grilled Angus Beef Filet Mignon. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We rounded the meal out with a bottle of red wine and a shared dessert. All in dinner for 2 came to $185 and change. Very pricy, but worth it for an intimate dinner out for two.
We are never disappointed when we visit the Bottle. The service is impeccable and the food is always delicious!
The food was excellent and the customer service was wonderful. Really enjoyed dinner.
Excellent restaurant with a great atmosphere! I would highly recommend ‘The Bottle’ for occasional dining, a romantic evening, or a serious business dinner.
Entres were tasty. Dessert was hard as a rock. Waiter had the same cheesy welcome line for every table.
This restaurant is fantastic! You definitely leave full and happy.
I wonderful taste texture and beautiful appearance. Good wine selection
Classy restaurant, outstanding service and great menu
The filet mignon and grouper were exquisite. Service was outstanding. Strawberry parfait and creme brulee topped off a perfect evening.
We have ate at the Bottle multiple times. Every meal has always been delicious and the staff awesome. We have always had a wonderful time.
We always have a great meal at The Bottle. My husband and I went on a Monday night to have a nice dinner. We love their filet, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We comment every time we eat a filet at a different restaurant that it isn't as good as The Bottle. Enjoyed the salad and bread also. Service was excellent. We will be back for sure!
Lots of hype for average execution. Exceedingly expensive for what you get.
It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we drove an hour to meet up with friends to celebrate. The food was without a doubt the best. Service was incredible. Outstanding and very special. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I can’t stop talking about it.
Great food! Valises could use some training. Other than that, an exceptional dining experience.
This was our first visit and it did not disappoint! The service was perfect, the filets were delicious, and the creme brûlée was amazing. Great date night spot for our anniversary. We will definitely go back!
The Bottle is always a great choice!
We had requested a quiet table for our party of four, and were seated upstairs, which was great. The wine, and one cocktail were quite good. The food would have been perfect, except the fish main courses were somewhat dried along one edge. No problem there, because portions were more than ample. Service was excellent. Of course we will be back to one of Huntsville’s finest restaurants.
One issue with The Bottle is the temperature inside the main dining area. Take a coat, they like the temps around 64, even though we asked them to shut the unit down to warm the place up, they decided we were asking too much. Other clients had there costs on during dinner so we were not the only table that was freezing. The food quality was good and our server was a little forgetful, forgot one persons salad for over fifteen minutes. Our group decided there were other better places to eat where we did not have to freeze to enjoy a good meal.
Perfect restaurant for an evening out. Dinner and service was excellent.
Food was as always outstanding. The table they put us at with a reservation of 5 at 6 pm was in a corner and they seated the tables right next to us even though there were plenty of open table throughout the restaurant. The price was not worth the experience. There was only a salad special and nothing else. It will be a long time before I spend this kind of money here again.
Celebrated an early Easter Dinner w family and really enjoyed both food and service. Three of us had expertly and tasty steaks, my filet was perfect and my daughters N.Y. strip one of the best I’ve tasted. Very good wine selection too. Only drawback was under cooked pork chop which was redone. Good meal, worth a return.
The service was great. Our food was delicious. The drinks were the best! My husband and I went to The Bottle for date night. It was a great experience and we cannot wait to go back.
Great experience - will go back
Waiter was very unprofessional. There was a gnat on my plate and when I pointed it out to him, he offered no apology just said something about it being that time of year. Then proceeded to tell the table next to us how “lit” he got at a wedding that weekend. He brought us no bread and one of the bus boys came and said we were supposed to have been brought bread. The food was okay. Nothing special. Expensive steak that was not worth the price. My wine glass had dust built up on it. The wine was good.
We got there well before our reservation time, but the hostess was ready for us. Beautifully laid table for two. My Hendricks Martini was perfectly made and nice and cold. My wife ordered the charcuterie platter as an appetizer and I ordered the raw oysters. Both exquisite choices. The oysters came with homemade kimchee and a flavorful seaweed relish. For the entree both of us ordered the grilled Scottish salmon over black rice and asparagus. It was hot off the grill and cooked perfectly!
Scott was our server and he was very professional and personable. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, he provided us with a mini-split of champagne after our meal!
The wine list is varied with many good choices. We both had a glass of the Pinot Grigio - very good.
This is a first class restaurant and I would go back for another special occasion (it would break the bank to dine here every week!)!
Our waiter Connor was amazing! The food was great and the overall experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend to anyone, especially for an anniversary or other special occasion.
I don't mind spending 150.00 for dinner out for two.....but this place was just so-so...I would rather spend my 150.00 else where.....for 150.00 it should be OUTSTANDING.....not just so/so
Wonderful food and the waiters and staff are very attentive. Great dinner before going to the Symphony.
The food was not cooked as requested, especially the meat (steak).
My guests and I enjoyed our dinner. The hospitality is wonderful, the food fantastic, the service great. The chef even came to our table and told us his secret seasoning for the grilled salmon, this absolutely delighted my guests from out-of-town. We started at 5:50 Saturday night and with the light crowd, conversation flowed easily as we caught-up on each other's activities over the last six months. The Bottle's atmosphere is so amazing, I was surprised to find nearly every seat filled when we turned to leave around 7. I had not heard all those people come in, but I knew they were in for a wonderful experience, too.
Me and my husband definitely will visit again.
My wife and I dined at The Bottle on a recent Saturday. We had made 7:00 reservations, but when we got there we were told that the only table available was a “high top” in the bar. We declined (bar was noisy and neither one of us wanted to spend two hours dining at a high top) and contemplated leaving. The hostess then indicated that a table in the dining room would become available soon, and in about 20 minutes we were seated. I started with a cocktail (Boulevardier) that was excellent and my wife a glass of wine from their very good wine list. After enjoying our drinks, we ordered our meal. We ordered our entrees first, followed by a salad. My wife had scallops with a blackberry-ginger beurre blanc sauce and asparagus, and I grouper with ancient grains and Brussel sprouts. While the fish and vegetables were cooked properly (i.e., not over cooked), the food was overly salty. My wife commented that the blackberry-ginger beurre blanc barely tasted of blackberry and she couldn’t detect any ginger. We had to ask our server for bread, as she planned on bringing it with our salad. The bread, focaccia, was on the dry side. We ordered a bottle of wine to go with dinner that was very good. However, our server didn’t bring my wife a new glass for the wine but used the same one she had earlier. The salads were generous. My roasted beet salad was good, as was my wife’s fried okra and heirloom tomato and arugula salad. We split their flourless chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. We weren’t rushed and, in fact, were the last to leave the dining room. Thus, while elements of our meal were very good, for the caliber of restaurant The Bottle purports to be, there were various aspects of our dining experience that could be improved upon. Our server was very pleasant but did not demonstrate the professional level of experience that we expect at a higher end restaurant. The Bottle has potential to be a very good restaurant but needs to get the details right.
Very enjoyable experience we will definitely visit again, the scallops were delicious
Don't get me wrong, I want to be honest. The food was great! Maybe not worth how much it cost. I've been to fine dining places all over the country and I'll say they are on par with most. The feeling in the restaurant is a little pretentious. The staff is fantastic but a little dry and smug. We enjoyed our meal but would have preferred a more casual experience.
Great for special occasions. I took my wife for our anniversary and we really enjoyed. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. We had the salmon and grouper and both were exquisite. Highly reccomend.
