The food was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was so nice and professional.
This is by far the best restaurant in Huntsville and greater area!!
Delicious food and great service from Paul. I would go back!
We had an early seating at 5:00 so we had the place to ourselves. Had a glass of wine in the bar while they readied our table. Bar tender very knowledgeable. Our table was by the window and quiet. Food outstanding, portions generous. We had the scallops and the trout. both were excellent. The mushroom pureed soup was a great starter. A very nice peach desert topped it off. Robert was our server and very attentive. Will be back next time in Huntsville.
Excellent venue. Food was delicious (especially the Filet Mignon). Voices from the bar can be pretty loud since the venue is not very large, but I’d suggest just asking to sit further away if you want to enjoy your meal noise free. Overall, a great place to eat in Huntsville.
Wonderful place to go to. It’s our favorite place to eat.
Always a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the service perfect.
My boyfriend was in town this weekend and I took him to The Bottle for us to have a nice dinner. We really enjoyed it and he said that it was his favorite of the downtown HSV restaurants. We were in the main dining room, which ended up being a little loud, but I think that was just because there was a loud group and not for any other reason. The food was amazing and the service was incredible as well. Our server was extremely polite and very knowledgeable about the menu choices. Definitely will be visiting again, and hopefully in the near future.
I was really excited to have dinner here and left terribly disappointed. My filet and plate were covered in a copious amount of sauce, And it was so salty! The bread and butter was really good. We were seated in the bar which is what I like, but, but the servers was more interested in talking to each other than anything.
Food was excellent as was service. Had Gulf shrimp with squash pasta (lick the plate tasty) as well as generously portioned crab cakes. Waiter overheard some say it was our anniversary and
complementary champagne was served. Would go back in a heartbeat.
We had an excellent dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Our server, Blake, was excellent. Our food was delicious. I had the salmon and my wife had the scallops. Both dishes were excellent.
Our server was also the bartender, there were a total of 8 customers in the restaurant, 4 of which had their own servers. Our server couldn’t even keep our glasses full (water and tea). The attentiveness was awful.
Scallops were delicious! Enjoyed celebrating our Anniversary at a restaurant we hadn’t been to previously.
Food was excellent. Service not so much.
Always a great meal. Love the seasonal cocktails.
Wish they would bring back the chocolate bomb dessert!
Disappointed. Menu didn’t match the one on the web site. Asked for house wine and got substitutes of less quality at $11 and $19 per glass. Had to ask for bread, which when it came, looked like four slices picked up from other tables (probably wasn’t, but nothing special). Crab cake very ordinary and filet mignon was not as good as those from Costco done on the grill.
We have had very outstanding, if not pricey, dinners here before, and were very disappointed with visit. Best thing about the evening was the perfectly executed valet parking.
Got the restaurant week menu. Except for dessert, the evening was outstanding. They ran out of their featured dessert on Sunday. Monday at 5:30 they hadn't replenished and we were given a mediocre dessert. It was some kind of cake roll with what tasted like melted butter pecan ice cream on top (as sauce) and raw pecans on the side. Even toasting the pecans would have helped greatly. They should have offered desserts off their menu before serving a thrown together dessert that was unimpressive. The salad on the other hand, was the star of the meal and wonderful. The main was good, but not good enough to make up for dessert.
This is our go-to place for a really nice dinner in Huntsville and we were not disappointed. Always a recommendation.
Excellent food that we presented exceptionally well. A great place to go for a special night.
While some of the food was exceptional, we got oysters on the half shell for an appetizer. They looked more like clams they were so small, on top of that they served them with stale crackers. Filet mignon was just “OK”. Salads were fantastic. We just expected much better food for the price.
My husband ordered the shrimp appetizer (4 shrimp). Two of them were pasty and didn't taste like they were fresh. He enjoyed the trout but thought it was overbreaded. I had the salad, which was good but difficult to eat with the fork-because of the nuts (this is very strange to say but the fork was weighted in such a way that it was difficult to turn over). I had the pork chop which was good. We also had wine and beer.
The wait staff was excellent, but they didn't have the meals available that were advertised, the filet mignon was well done instead of what we ordered, the potatoes were cold and the vegetables raw when they were supposed to be cooked. Overall the experience did not feel like what we paid for.
Everything was great except the crying infant. Took away from the atmosphere.
The Bottle is our choice for special dinners. The food and wine are outstanding, the service exceptional, and the ambiance inviting. Our world-traveler friends visiting from the Chicago area enjoyed The Bottle very much.
We had a fantastic dining experience at The Bottle celebrating our anniversary. The service from our waiter was excellent and the food was exceptional. It was mine and my husband’s first experience at The Bottle and we will be back!
Everything was great. Using OpenTable worked perfect. Food was delicious. Wine was a little expensive but good.
Me and my wife had dinner here for her birthday. I decided to try something different restaurant for her birthday and we really enjoyed our experience. Alls the food was very good, especially the crab cake.
The drinks were about $15. There was nothing special about the mojito, but the bourbon old fashioned was interesting because it was made with a cinnamon-peach reduction. The raw oysters appetizer were fairly tasteless. I don't know if it's a seasonal issue. The shrimp entrée had a delicious seasoning and sauce. The salmon was very tasty, but the crust was over salted. The crème brulee dessert was excellent, but $5 for a small cup of coffee?
Outstanding food, ambiance and service from our server, Charles. Will definitely return!
Service and ambiance excellent....Food- not so much...Heard it had declined but now it is confirmed....Other venues going forward....
I was spending the night in Huntsville as part of a road trip to visit family in Mississippi.
I was looking for a place to treat myself to nice dinner and The bottle exceeded my expectations. Yes, the restaurant is on the pricey side - especially if you enjoy a few glasses form their well-curated wine list - but the food is creative and delicious and the ambiance is awesome.
The restaurant feels like a cross between and old fashioned speak easy and an intimate jazz lounge, with music on the sound system adding to that feeling. If you do go, you have to try the warm napa cabbage salad - with blue cheese and walnuts!
Food and service were fantastic! Very attentive to food allergies at our table.
My wife and I had an outstanding meal...Every thing was Great ...no complaints...We had the Best Waitress (Susie) . We Have been coming to The Bottle for several years and are sure to come back.
The Bottle experience was very enjoyable. We tried an appetizer, which was great. My wife had the filet mignon and I had the scallops, both were very delicious. When I dine at a restaurant, I like to try something new each time but I may have a hard time not ordering the scallops again. We had wonderful deserts that were as displayed as well as they tasted. My wife and I will return. The service was excellent and each course was delivered on time. Our server was very personable and helped with our wine questions and the wine she suggested was great. Overall visit was excellent. We started at 615 which was a great time, it was quiet. By the time we departed it was getting a little noisy but not so much that it bothered us. It comes with the crowd.
This was a great restaurant. Food was good and our Service was outstanding. Complimentary valet parking is a plus. I will come again and certainly recommend!
It was our 40th anniversary. Sadness in my wife’s life made it so important for everything to be perfect on our special night. From my opening request, every member of the staff exceeded my expectations. We were seated in a very private table and were treated like royalty. The ambiance was perfect. The stage was set for an delicious dinner that topped every other dinner we had had at the Bottle in the past. The evening had started with my wife’s reluctance to go out for dinner and ended with an experience to never be forgotten. The Bottle will never be replaced as a place for special memories. I highly recommend our “favorite spot” to anyone wanted great atmosphere, service and food.
This past Monday, my wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary here.
Great place! The food was excellent, and the service was top notch! We both enjoyed the whole experience. The drink recommendations were spot on, and the filets were cooked to perfection!
I recently moved to Huntsville from a large city and was starting to panic about where to take some friends (who were visiting) to dinner. I heard about The Bottle and decided to go. We didn't have reservations, but they were accommodating and found room for us at a high top table.
The service was outstanding (I wish I could remember the young man who was serving us)! He was attentive and very kind!
The cocktails were amazing! The food was incredible! My hats off to the chef!! I can't wait to take my husband and more friends when they come to visit! Thank you for making me feel like I was back in the city!
Service was excellent, but food quality and value was not what we’ve experienced before. My wife had scallops which were good, not outstanding as before, but for $32 you would think there would more than 4. I had a Caesar salad and the filet which I’ve had several times and always very good. The Caesar dressing was tasty, but the croutons were not edible. They were rock hard! The filet was cooked like I ordered, but it was tough and had substantial gristle! It really looked like a cheap piece of meat. Not the greater than one inch thick filet I’ve had previously.
The Bottle will not be my go to upscale restaurant as before!
The Bottle was great! We went with another couple and could actually carry on a conversation! The food was spectacular. My husband had the Venison and of course I had a taste. It was cooked to perfection. My Trout was delicious. Dessert was light and a perfect end to our dinner. I recommend The Bottle for your next special dinner.
