Thoroughly enjoyed the 7-course International Wine & Seafood dinner on April 11th. The seafood was superb...and the accompanying wine choices excellent. Thanks!
It was my birthday dinner, and we had a fabulous time! The food and the service never disappoint :-)
The three of us had the scallops, pork chop, and filet mignon. Each dish was wonderful (pork chop serving size was quite generous). Seating area was not *cramped* but it was “cozy.”
The wait staff were polite and knowledgeable. The food was very flavorful and the serving sizes were normal proportion. Very filling.
Nice atmosphere and great servers but the food was not impressive at all given the price.
I had the muscles for an appetizer; no better than buying a frozen bag at Sams Club. Same for the Salmon, steak and scallops.
Party of 8 was over $1,000; not worth half that.
It was great as usual.
Fantastic; absolutely wonderful! Chef prepared a scrumptious 4 course meal for the special occasion; we were extremely happy with the experience!
This was a business/friend dinner, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The wait staff was attentive without appearing to hover, and everything from our first cocktail to our desserts and after-dinner coffee was excellent. The food was exactly as described in the menu, our steaks were outstanding, and the wait staff was well-informed when we had questions. I was "treating" and was pleasantly surprised at the cost -- for three people, with cocktails, appetizer, wine, entrees and dessert, the meal was still less than $75 a person.
Took a business colleague. We had a great meal, great service and because it was midweek, plenty of time to talk.
There is just one word that defines this restaurant “GREAT”
Very good food, professional help, good wine.
We had a really nice experience at The Bottle! The food and service was superb! The *only* area that could use some improvements was just the overall "look" of the restaurant.
Food was good but for the price expected to be a little more wowed in presentation and/or taste. Cocktail was great. Service was relaxed almost to the point of medicated but not inattentive. Experience was enjoyable but will not be a mainstay.
Fabulous hand crafted cocktails, small plates, and entrees as always; excellent service.
Always great food and service!! Enjoy the variety on the menu.
Outstanding Service and quality of food. HIGHLY recommend!
Good food, good service - but too expensive. We had two dinners, one glass of wine (only one - I drank water), and the bill was $90+.
Great food. Unfortunately, young hostess on this visit seemed overwhelmed. Long wait for a set time reservation, then were sat in the bar. Disappointing. The bar is small and gets loud. Chef arrived after meal to apologize. Again, food is awesome. Staff seemed overwhelmed on this night.
I was looking forward to eating at The Bottle, It has been a couple of years, my last experience was good. Sadly I was disappointed. Drinks are what they are, you basically know what you are getting. The Server was reasonably friendly, but when it came time to order I asked if he could tell me about some of the items on the menu, and he looked at it for a couple of seconds, and his response was... have you eaten here before, I said yes its been quite a while, he paused again, and said the scallops and Lamb are popular. That was all the explanation of the menu I got. Salads were ok, Everyone ordered a different entrée, and seemed content overall. One person ordered the Filet, and it was a little over cooked , I had scallops, they were nice in size but undercooked. It was a nice atmosphere, and enjoyable to be there with my friends, but might wait a while before going back.
Great food and excellent service
The bartender, our waiterr and the chief made our evening one of the best. We were welcomed with open arms and a smile, the valet parked our car, we had a couple of drinks at the bar, then was seated at our special table. This was my partner's birthday dinner and everything was five stars with no exceptions. The birthday "boy" was able to enjoy engaging in all the staff and enjoyed his meal greatly. This is our favorite special place to eat and celebrate a special occasion. The chief brought our meal out to us and the taste and presentation was beyond our expectations. Thank you Bottle for another memory and a great meal. We will return.
This was our third visit to The Bottle. Once again, the food was wonderful, and the service was superb. Scott was our waiter...again. He was extremely attentive and made excellent suggestions. Our entrees were the lamb and pork chop, and they were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant as one of the finest restaurants in Huntsville, and we will most assuredly return.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Service wasn’t the greatest. Waited extended periods for service and waiter’s attitude was indifferent. My wife also was sick the next day, we think from the tuna since it’s the only thing we didn’t share.
Usually the good is top notch but not tonight. Filet did not have a very good flavor. Mashed potatoes were bland and broccolini could not even be cut unless using the steak knife. The grouper and risotto were excellent!
The service, atmosphere, and food were amazing. It would have been the perfect evening had a group of six not come in to sit near us. The group of six didn't seem to understand what inside voices were. Over all, super amazing restaurant, my wife and I will be visiting again.
looves the food. oysters, crabcake and black snapper were amazing and perfectly seasoned and cooked. however, we were seated under a speaker that was blaring music, and my seat was where 2 cushions met along a wall, so i was not comfortable. get a real table and it will be a good experience/date. other tables were open; if not for this, i would have left 5 stars.
Outstanding food and service. There was a great variety on the menu to chose from with great side dishes.
This was our first time to the Bottle. It was great experience. Loved the food, crab cakes and filet were perfect. Lucy and Dylan took great care of us. We'll definitely go back.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Celebrating my husband's birthday. If you are wanting large portions, this is not the place for you. Food is delicious and the vegetarians options were minimal but I was able to have a lovely meal.
Overall, we think our expectations were too high. We had eaten at this same location under 2 previous owners and we had hoped that this was still a great place for a nice night out. Its possible that we were unlucky in that we were seated just outside the kitchen. This allowed us the privilege to hear someone singing loudly with the music playing as well as someone's loud belch while eating our salad. Food was the high point and was good overall, but not great. Our server was ok, but seemed less happy we were there and just hoping to get through the night. Not the welcoming location we remember.
This was our first visit to The Bottle and we were rather disappointed. We were celebrating our anniversary, but the seating was so close that we were not able to carry on a private conversation. The scallops were excellent and the lobster bisque was decent, but the noise level and uncomfortable seating situation made our experience more frustrating than enjoyable.
It was good but not great for the price. Cotton Row still is byfar the best. Steak was amazing, but grouper was very salty. It was a great experience because we always like to try places we have never been to. However, we will be going back to Cotton Row for special occasion dates.
Great wine selection, excellent food, and very professional staff - consistently great place to take visitors to HSV
Excellent service. Grouper texture wasn’t good and a little over cooked. But taste was excellent. Best wine selection in town, though pricy.
Took the server a while to get to us, the tables were seated so closely to the other ones we could literally hear the other persons conversations, which forced us to whisper for privacy. The food was great though. Will definitely return and will perhaps request a table that’s secluded.
We enjoyed the wine and fish. I liked the bisque. Absent waiter...didn't refill wine glasses or come back to table. The woman who greeted us was rude. I love Scott and will not fail to ask for him if we go back. Very disappointing...
Fantastic upscale dinning! Been going there with my wife for Valentine's Day twice now and it is worth every cent. As with any restaurant during a big holiday, expect a wait if you don't have a reservation. Would completely recommend for any special occasion.
Waiter was totally unattentive and would disappear for long periods of time. Seated next to a kitchen wall that noisily vibrated. Avg food. Not worth $170 for 2 people.
The rack of lamb was amazing. My wife had the grouper which she liked but had food envy over the lamb. The meal was expensive but worth it. Great staff who were responsive, knowledgable about the menu, and wine list. Overall we had a great meal!
It was very nice
