The Boot Room Sports Cafe – Anfield
A freshly prepared menu includes favourites including steaks, burgers, stone-baked pizzas and pasta dishes. Youngsters are catered for with a special Mini Boot Room menu, signature fruit cocktails and are invited to make their own pizzas and have them cooked by our Boot Room Chef's. They can also use the popular ice cream machine in the specially-designed kids’ area.
We went for my husbands birthday. The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be going again.
This was our 2nd visit during our short stay, this time for a quick lunch after the stadium tour. The food was excellent, as was the service and ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will certainly return.
Been there before and will go again when in town. The food is excellent and the whole set is perfect for the football fan. Even more a Liverpool supporter
The experience is very good and the food was good. Service could be a little quicker, but staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Weekendje met mijn zoon naar Liverpool, alles draait om t voetbal! Ook bij t Sports Cafe. Komt helemaal goed uit
Always enjoyed our visits to the Boot Room, but tonight a bit too quiet and closed too early (because of matchday I think) ... shame as we felt a bit rushed and couldn't really enjoy more atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant in a great location within the Anfield stadium. Great food, especially dessert.
Millie was so lovely!!!
An absolute cracking atmosphere. If Liverpool are playing and you can hear the Sky Sport commentary, life is perfect.
Excellent food, nice staff and the atmosphere was good.
A good add on to the tour. Food was fine. Service a little slow.
An overall poor experience, considering where/who it was, etc it felt like a massive let down.
The nachos were covered in cold cheese sauce, not even warm or with real melted cheese but instead it was obviously from a bottle/packet.
My pizza was not crispy but instead soft round the edges. My daughters mac n cheese was intact pasta with the same cheese sauce used on the nachos but warmed up this time, I ended up swapping my meal with hers.
What made it worse for me was the fact that midway through the main course we got told the kitchen was closing so did we want desserts? How poor is this??? Being made to feel pressured to decided if we want desserts is not what I expect when I go out to eat. Quite clearly the staff were wanting to get home and we were inconveniencing them by staying there as a paying guest!
Even when we asked for the bill, it was quite clear that the staff couldn’t wait for us to leave as they obviously had somewhere important to be!
I had taken my daughter on her first visit around Anfield, everything had been perfect apart from our Boot Room Sports Cafe experience.
I would like feedback
Had a fantastic time at The Boot Room, our first visit was amazing. The staff were very friendly, the food was lovely too, hopefully we will be back soon.
Have been to the Boot Room several times previously and brought a friend for her first visit. Staff are lovely and friendly and the food was generally good, albeit not piping hot especiall the mushy peas which were only tepid/cold. We did point this out and were offered a replacement for them but declined. We were seated directly next to the kitchen/storeroom door so there was a lot of traffic with deliveries of food etc, which did spoil it somewhat.
All together we enjoyed our visit but not as much as previously. Hopefully this was a one-off disappointment.
We went because massive Liverpool Fans. Went to Superstore beforehand and that was better than the Cafe. Very little to tell you’re actually eating at Anfield. Sky Sports News on TV in booth why not LFC TV?. The food was unremarkable but ok although chips on both of our plates were only luke warm. Mandy our server was lovely. Worth one visit but won’t return.
I booked our meal here as part of a stadium tour so I don’t know if the fairly reasonable set price for the meal (which seemed to be good value) was a factor in the quality of food we received, but it was very disappointing. The soup was unpleasant and the curry and pizza dishes we had were cheaply assembled and quite tasteless. We have eaten here before on a hospitality package and the meal was outstanding as you might expect so it was sad to find that their basic level offering was so poor in quality. I would have been happier to have paid more if that allowed them to provide nicer food but if you are considering the food option as an add on to the stadium tour I would say do the tour but skip the food option - even the chippy across the road could do better.
Me and my boyfriend booked the meal voucher along with our stadium tour and I would highly recommend. The food was amazing for the value.
Service was a bit slow but staff were very polite and I would come again.
Nice food. Good place to watch a match. Good value
Staff was loverly ,even rembered us from 12 months ago Pascal was her name ,
Disappointed that the traditional spaghetti Bol and stew had both been taken off the menu since we booked!!!
Great atmosphere and great way to end our day after liverpool stadium tour
Had a wonderful time here on Saturday 19.10.19, food was great and the service we received from our waitress Mandy was fantastic. If your going to Anfield its a must to grab something to eat here.
I can’t fault the staff the where supper friendly and welcoming . The cafe itself was cold I was unable to take my coat of while eating . We had potatoe and leek soup to start with . This was tasteless and very watery . Bread and butter was good . Mains well my son had the curry only rice was edible. My sister had pizza that was ok . I had the pulled beef pasta dish yuk . Drinks where nice . Unfortunately we wouldn’t visit again .
Enjoyed our experience, great for Liverpool fans! We had a little difficultyin getting a second cup of coffee, but that was quickly put right. Good food and great Scouse staff!
Excellent end to a stadium tour. Food, service and value for money👍👍
Would be helpful to have a cloakroom; we can’t be the only people who have visited Anfield with their holiday suitcase with them!
The Boot room was very nice ,food was good and service attentive .Nice experience added on to stadium tour .Only disappointment was that I could not get a glass of dry rose from the bar as they only sell a very sweet rose by the glass . A glass of wine with my meal would have improved the experience and may affect my booking again in the future . Shame as they have some dry rose to order by the bottle so could arrange to serve by the glass .
Lovely meal, gluten free options were available and discussed with me properly. Child’s meal was nice although the chips were very salty considering it was for a child and the chicken nuggets looked like they’d been warmed up rather than fresh - however there were no complaints about them. Gluten free fish and chips was lovely and other 2 meals of burger and chips were really nice too I was told. Only downside was that there were servers cleaning knives and forks in a corner of the restaurant obviously preparing for a function, whilst we were there. I appreciate that it was midday on a Tuesday and staff have to do other things when hey get a quiet moment etc. but it made the place look a little scruffy and unprofessional. Overall though, we had a lovely lunch.
Food is luvly and fresh! The staff are great! Friendly and helpful! Great atmosphere looking forward to watching the Man U game there
The staff were very friendly and helpful as ever but on this occasion it was very noisy as there is the play facility for children near the bar was being used by some very exuberant youngsters. We ordered the cottage pie, expecting something different to what we got. It was well presented but disappointing. A shame because we usually find that the food is very good.
A great venue clean, reasonable priced food, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended
Good food in the reel atmosphere. Lot to see and lot to eat👌🏻😍 YNWA❤️
It was fab food was delicious and quickly done excellent service A+++
Been a few times, never been disappointed, very relaxed good good
We arrived early and the place was very quiet. I had pre-booked and pre-paid but the greeter did not ask for my booking reference, just showed me to a booth at the back of the restaurant. The pre-paid menu is limited to only one starter, unless you want to pay extra for something else, which i found a little strange. It was a good thing we both like soup. The choice of mains was much better and we both opted for the 'Boot Room' Burger, which was delicious but could've been warmer....there was only about three tables occupied so no excuse there. The choice of drinks was good and reasonably priced and the service was excellent. We would visit again.
We had an excellent meal food was amazing as well the staff definitely recommend and we will be coming back again x
Great for a one off visit, made to feel welcome. We are not rushed. Food was perhaps a little disappointing but the atmosphere made up for it.
There were no halloumi fries (starter),there was no fish+chips! and there were no milkshakes for my children and the waiter did not bring the jug of water that I asked for.
Fantastic setting at the amazing Anfield Stadium. The ability to revel in the past and present glories as well as checking up on the latest sporting news is a great combination when added to superb food, very friendly attentive staff and space to share the memories with your family and friends.
Birthday meal for brother in law great service and food yet again top notch as always will definitely be back again soon
