Even though we had reservations for my husband’s birthday we had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Seating was the furthest away from the food buffet. Noise level was so loud we could not even carry on conversation at our own table. Very disappointing
I had made reservations for 6 for a 12:15 brunch. Myself and my husband were delayed by Int. 4 traffic, but other party members were checked in on time. When I arrived, I noticed that they had sat us at a table for 5...not 6. One of our guest would have had to sit with his plate on a crack where 2 tables were pushed together to try and accommodate the seating. When I requested another table with the hostess, she was less than sympathetic, first insisting that it WAS a table for 6, then going on to say no else ever complained, and then that the reservation was for 12:15 ????? This is not someone you want in the front of the house!! Had to request to see the manager, and he was gracious and found us another table. Perhaps this young lady should not be representing such a fine establishment as the Boehme. Other than the rocky start, brunch was great!
Very pleasant , server and manager were engaging and knowledgeable. Food was lovely.
We had dinner before attending a concert. Justin our waiter was fantastic. Attentive and informative. Food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. Not too quiet and just the right noise level. Comfortable. Will be back!
Our party was rudely turned away with a reservation.
Great brunch as always! A brunch for a special occasion deserves the Grand Bohemian!
My fourth time there. Roberto attended to us for the second time. He is excellent at greeting you and making you feel comfortable. Super courteous and knowledgeable not only on the menu items but wine as well. My date was unsure of what wine she had on a previous visit and after a brief Q&A and his recommendation was a hit. The escargot here are second only to something you would get in France. The grilled peach salad got it's sweetness from the grilled peach, raspberries, and fig. But it was perfectly balanced with the acidity and tartness of the sherry wine vinaigrette and goat cheese. The Chilean sea bass was done in a Mediterranean style with capers, array of olives, artichoke and a combination of seasonings that brings out a unique but exquisite flavor that is just amazing. From the beautiful The Bösendorfer Lounge to the exquisite art and decor, this is definitely a place to impress someone.
We stayed at the hotel, and went here for what I thought was a "brunch," but is really just a breakfast bar. Not too much difference from something that they have as an included perk at Doubletree, Hiltons, etc. Scrambled Eggs, toast, bacon, etc. Some cheese assortment and packaged meats made it a little above the Hilton bar. The biggest disappointment was, when we asked t put the charge on our room bill, the waiter asked, "Oh, are you a guest at the hotel? Didn't they give you a voucher for this at check-in?" No, they did not, nor was it offered. I asked about that when we checked out an hr later. The girl at the desk said that, even though we are Marriott Rewards members, and stayed at the hotel, we didn't qualify for a voucher. That may be all true, but the experience just left me feeling like I paid 50.00 more than I had too, had I just known to inquire at check in. There are many more close and cheaper options for breakfast.
We arrived at the table sat down placed the order and wait wait wait wait some more. Finally we were done with the salad and figure out that the plates were ready and done waiting at the kitchen. The server either forgot or got distracted but a lot of other people that came after us were leaving already and we still had no dinner plates.
I called for the manager who went to the kitchen and found the plates waiting to be picked up.
We decided to leave and inform the manager of the poor customer service the server gave us.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I guess Burger King is faster ...
I am a regular visitor of the hotel and the restaurant but I may consider changing venues for our medical meetings.
Had an enjoyable date night. Geat ambience, good food, service fair at best. Refused to let poor service ruin the beautiful night and occasion.
The Boheme is one of our favorite restaurants. They didn't disappoint. Food was very good. I still miss the lobster bisque. Maybe they will bring that back. The service was excellent. The waiter gave us the DPAC discount because we were going to a concert at Dr. Philips. That's another reason to dine at The Boheme and it's 5-minute walk to Dr. Philips.
We felt that we were rushed out of that place; and the worst came afterwards when both of us got sick
Brunch was outstanding! The food was fresh and delicious. Loved the live music touch, made for a classy ambiance. While it is pricey and I will reserve this for special occasions, it was worth the splurge.
Although this is a pricy brunch, it’s worth every penny. Unlimited champagne or mimosas are poured as soon as your glass is empty. King crab legs, oysters and shrimp, omelet station, huge roast beef carved to order, and a crepe station with all kinds of sweet fillings that you can splash with rum or grand mariner. There are eggs bacon, sausages, potatoes and Many other salads, veggies, breads and desserts are on the buffet. You can also order from a menu for items that you’d like specially prepared for you and served, such as eggs Benedict, and it is all included in the price. The servers are always friendly and keep your champagne glass full!
Service was poor! Waited ages for anything asked for.
Food range was limited no cold breakfast items
Chair was knocked every time someone passed by
Ben/Nate was on point- high marks all around - thanks
My time at the restaurant was filled with joy and excitement great food great staff Alberto was a wonderful waiter it was a wonderful experience
I eat here quite often and am never disappointed. I stop in for lunches and happy hours during the week, as I work across the street. It's also my go to dinner spot when I have guests in from out of town or want a romantic date night. It's always great.
Our pre-theater dinner at The Boheme was a pleasant surprise! The food was innovative, and the service was excellent. The ambience was much more artistic than the photos indicate. The premiere artist, J.C. Roy, is a perfect choice!
We really enjoyed Boheme. It's very beautiful, loved the piano playing. Food was delicious. We choose Boheme because it was close to Dr. Phillips and were going to the Yanni concert. Very pleased.
5 stars!! We will be returning for sure. It just so happened to be their Sunday Jazz brunch when we went to brunch this past weekend. The music was incredible, food was delicious, the price was reasonable, and the service & ambiance were spectacular!
I enjoy the experience every time I go! The ambiance, the music, the servers and of course the food is always top notch.
Wonderful experience, service, quality of food, my waitress “ Ranford “ was completely kind , profesional and funny.
This was our first visit but will not be our last. The restaurant decor is elegant. We enjoyed the quiet music provided on the piano. The food was excellent.
This restaurant is all about location. It is across the street from the Dr. Phillips Center. Some food (the salmon) was very good. Other food (NY Strip) was terrible (and expensive). The service was very good this time, but has slow in the past. The atmosphere can be a little loud for an upscale place like this.
As always very good and the service was exceptional!
The waitstaff messed up one of our orders. Not only was a salad made to be an entree, but it was supposed to have dressing on the side and that was incorrectly prepared as well. The menu overall is not very creative or very extensive.
The food was excellent and the service fantastic. We enjoyed the art work and the ambience.
Everything was outstanding. Thank You!
Went for dinner before a show at the Dr. Phillips Center. Food was excellent, server was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely a must!
Our waiter was excellent. The food so so. The entire hotel looks like a bordello, and is a bit “off” for this great brand of Hotel. We stay in Grand Bohemians quite a bit.
Took my wife here for a pre concert celebration. the wait staff is attentive and gave us great service. the food was great, the menu is a bit sparse on main entrée choices but, the steak and sea bass were excellent.
Not a cheap meal but, worth the money for the crowd, food and service.
we will go again.
Service for the birthday celebration was the best! Very attentive.
Great date brunch with my wife
Best brunch around!
The waiter was really nice. However, the hostess was rude. I asked for a two seater table because we didnt want to be directly next to someone in a connecting booth, especially if we are paying 50 per person. I understand that it wasy busy, but she said no in a very rude manner. Not the way to treat someone who contribute to your salary. Overall it was nice, but i expected the overall service to be amazing and it wasnt. Again, the waiter was awesome.
Our second time here. Last time we sat in the more quiet dining area, this time in the bar area. I would recommend the dining area for better conversation. The bar area was a more casual atmosphere. Great food at Sunday brunch!! Wonderful music.
We went here prior to going to the theater next store at the Dr. Phillips Center. As is the case every time we go here the atmosphere was great the hospitality notable. Mikael our server was awesome and made the dining experience exemplary. This was a complete culinary delight.
We had predinner drinks in the bar, which was very impressive at first glance. A closer look revealed that the fabric on the seats was worn and in need of replacement. The waitresses wore skimpy uniforms that madr think I was in a Hooters bar. In contrast, the Boheme was in perfect condition with paintings on the walls. The food was excellent. Portions were large. It was a good value.
