The Boheme - Grand Bohemian Hotel - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
The weekly Sunday brunch is great but the Holiday brunches raise the bar. The layout of the buffet and live stations allow guests to not feel crowded and the flexibility of the differe t size rooms on the conference floor allow for different size parties to feel comfortable.
The Buffet lunch was a delightful way to spend time with friends and family.
The venue was beautifully presented and the attention to detail superb.
This is not a cheap Christmas lunch, but if you are after a memorable occasion this comes highly recommended.
The food choice and quality was outstanding with options ranging from a sea food room to delicately prepared sweets.
The serving staff were friendly and attentive and definitely added to the event.
The atmosphere in the room was bright and festive and if you are looking for a special Christmas treat then this comes highly recommended but be prepared to pay.
Beautifully decorated rooms with an old fashioned Christmas feel. The piano player and instrumentalist gave the entire experience an elegant and beautiful aura. The food rooms were outstanding and the variety made the choices challenging in a good way. The seafood room was our favorite and the food was awesome. The steamed snow crab legs we would have loved to take home in bags as they were tender and wonderfully aromatic. The wait staff was extremely helpful and the entire experience made out Christmas Day extra special.
The Grand Bohemian Jazz Brunch is easily the best brunch in town. The hotel and restaurant are so beautiful and luxurious. The food is equally as impressive both for brunch as well as their regular dining menu. The brunch selection is incredible with delicious crab cakes, waffles as light as air, prime rib, oysters, I could go on and on. They offer bottomless mimosas on top of that. If you have a small group, try to reserve the private wine room!
Brunch was fabulous and we will return to sample menu choices on another evening. Christmas decorations were beautiful and overall ambience of dining room was special. The Grand Boheme will definitely be paired with our other tickets at the Dr. Phillips Center.
We had a memorable time. We two "girls" had a very special time. My granddaughter actually got up out her seat to come hug me when I told her that we would come back after the Nutcracker to have dessert. It was truly magical for both of us. We will be back!
The food is excellent. The service ended up being very good but it started out with us sitting at the table for about 6 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We were close to leaving but our server was super nice and very apologetic. Although we had reservations we had to sit in the bar at high tops which weren't that comfortable for some people.
The mimosa's are included but that's the only drink. The food is very good and if you like prime rib & seafood (crab legs, shrimp, oysters) you'll be super happy. It's great for a special occaision. This is a real brunch with a buffet not an order off the menu brunch.
Possibly one of the best on the east coast. Live in NYC and this brunch is beyond anything in NYC. Unlimited mimosa , champagne etc.made to order special brunch items
Also unlimited in addition to their magnificent buffet featuring raw bar ,hot snow crab, made to order crab cakes plus standard carving station and dessert bar. Did I mention it's a jazz brunch ,piano and sax in a beautiful artsy setting of fine art and ecleptic colors and lighting. Simply the best hands down.
I had a great time at this place on my previous visit. This time, not so much. I made a reservation almost 2 months in advance. Our reservation (party of 2) was 6:30 as we had tickets for the Trans Siberian Orchestra at 8:00PM.
We were seated at the grand table which is about 5 feet wide. They said they would leave "space" between the other parties. It was very hard to talk to each other due to the distance/noise. I asked to be moved, our waitress said no problem, that never happened. She disappeared for at least 30 minutes.
It took 50 minutes to get our salads. I'm not kidding, 50 minutes! Although they were really good. Our server seemed to be everywhere else by trying to accommodate our less than stellar start to the night.
Our entrees arrived about 20 minutes after the salads. My wife said her lamb was good. My steak was cooked to the correct temperature but was served barely warm which means it was sitting in the kitchen for a while.
I would have sent it back but we didn't have enough time because everything else took so long. We had to eat our entrees in 10 minutes in order to have time to walk the Amway Center. Good thing I didn't valet or we would have been late to the show.
For the $135 I spent, we could have had a much better dining experience at Flemming's or even Hillstone for a little less money. This place was near the top of my list for finer dining, but they really missed this time.
A must for Broadway Show Night at Dr. Phillips. Always amazing. The cocktails are outside the norm. The person at the piano playing and singing next to the bar is extremely talented. Staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to get you on your way in time for the show. Crab cake appetizer and pan seared scallops with pureed celery root and roasted asparagus is a must!
We arrived for Thanksgiving dinner with a 7pm reservation. When we looked up the Thanksgiving menu, the only choice shown on the website was the Buffet. That fit our wants exactly. Well we were seated and handed a 4 course dinner menu. My daughter and I were puzzled and were told the buffet ended earlier. The table next to us expected the same thing, but they were so disappointed that they left. We stayed and enjoyed our meal but were disappointed too. In the future, the web site or reservationist should be more clear.
The overall meal awesome however all three desserts were just awful. Also my credit card was over charged by 50.00 and we have left three messages with manager and to date no one has called. So now I have to go to the bank and get the charges reversed. There were three of us at dinner. We did not order any drinks. We had water with lemon. Thank you.
For the past few years, my boyfriend and I have eschewed the traditional family Thanksgiving and have gone out to dinner instead. As teachers, it is great to have a fabulous and delicious brunch while reflecting on all of the things in life that we have to be thankful for. The Thanksgiving brunch at the Boheme far exceeded our expectations. Everything that we ate...from the fresh crab legs and crab cakes to the roasted veggies was phenomenal. Our server was so attentive that I don't think my champagne glass was ever empty. We will definitely be back for special occasions in the future.
The Boheme is the perfect restaurant for a Pre-theatre meal with the gorgeous Dr. Phillips Center just across the street. Although the service was confused and slow, we were out in plenty of time to get to our seats. The appetizers and salad made a light but filling dinner.I especially enjoyed the pear salad. My companion had the Mediterranean salmon and loved it. Cocktails are overpriced, so I'd suggest a glass of wine. The Prosecco split is a bargain at $10.
Boheme presents a great setting with excellent food and outstanding service. We were attending a show and the service staff stay tuned in to the time required to present the food
so that we were not rushed and were able to make the performance. Came back for drinks
later and enjoyed the bar ambiance with a good jazz group. Would definitely recommend
Boheme as one of Orlando's best restaurants.
I have not stopped sharing with friends and colleagues the perfect combination of service and quality I experienced at this restaurant. The hospitality and high level of customer care was above and beyond. The wine selection was phenomenal and the sommelier an enormous help in deciding on the best pairing with food. The lamb chops I ordered were the best I have ever had and the asparagus was cooked to perfection. I would return tomorrow, especially for the dry aged steak. This is a must for anyone dining out in Orlando.
We were eating dinner prior to attending a performance at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, across the street. We mentioned that, and our waiter was very attentive, she kept us on a perfect schedule. The food was upscale and delicious with a wonderful choice of wines. I was impressed with the ambiance, food and service. Would definitely recommend to friends.
The decoration of the restaurant walking in is both bright and welcoming. We were seated quickly. Our server came and got our orders. The menu is small but diverse. The brought warm bread fresh from the oven. This was the most delicious bread I have ever had. No lie. It was amazing. I would go again just for that! I got a salad with chicken. It had pears, walnuts, blue cheese and cornbread croutons along with the chicken I added. It was quite packed with flavor. It was very ambitious. When describing all the flavors to my sister during lunch she thought I didn't like it but I really did. Even though there are many strong competing flavors in the salad, it somehow all works together. My sister got the BLT sandwich with fries. It was delicious as well. The bacon was a stand out for sure. Nice and thick cut. The only complaint from the entire lunch was the bread on the BLT was a little hard. I wish they had used the delicious bread we got as a starter. Overall I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items.
The best thing about the restaurant is that it is next door to the theater. This makes it convenient to have dinner before a show. But the service was slow. We spent a lot of time sitting at a table with no food waiting for courses. Some of the food was good, but some was not up to the quality I would expect for the price.
Sunday Brunch is our favorite. Really good food, always excellent and friendly service, comfortable chairs so you feel you can stay and take your time. We have found that the noise level has always been acceptable; you can actually hold a conversation. We really like the original art work in the dining room. Paying to park is not my favorite thing, but it is valet and they get your car promptly and are always friendly and accommodating.
Wow. This was my 3rd or 4th time dining at The Boheme. Best server ever - thank you Samuel George III! Wish I had a dozen servers just like him at my restaurant! There when needed; let us have our conversations without interruption; knowledgeable; pleasant. Hospitable. Great menu and wine list offered plenty of interesting choices. Vegetables with each dish were most memorable - popped with flavor. Setting is funky and not my favorite but with live piano music it didn't detract from our experience. When you go, ask to be served by Samuel. He made the experience great!
