The Boheme - Grand Bohemian Hotel - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
We ate at The Boheme before a concert at Amway. The pear salad was one of my favorites as well as the espresso infused cheesecake. Our server asked immediately if we were going to see a show and made sure we got out of there in time. Service was great, food came out perfect, you could dress up here for a fancy night or be okay in nice jeans too. Too fancy and quiet for kids but perfect for a girls night out, romantic dinner, or great food with friends.
Magical Dining brought us in, our sever Jessica will bring us back. Overall a great dinning experience. Jessica took great care of us from start to end and even took it upon herself to bring my selected dessert on a "happy birthday" plate as she over heard my guest offer to pay for the wine as my belated bday gift. Jessica also mentioned the Waygu app and oh my wow was she right it was amazing. The only disappointment was the salmon dish my guest ordered. We both thought it was a little bland. But again am everything else was perfect. Great job.
Great atmosphere, jazz, food & service. Took parents for their 56th Anniversary and we were all very pleased. All the food was very fresh and expertly prepared and presented. The mimosa's/champagne flowed continuously. Buffet items wonderful and unlike most places with buffets, they also offered other special order individual portion fresh prepared items (included in price) like seafood gumbo, grilled swordfish, eggs benedict, and bananas foster - just to name a few... Will be back for dinner and I'm sure for the brunch again.
Enjoyed the Magical Dining menu at The Boheme with friends last night. The crab cake appetizer was amazing and truly would have been enough. Enjoyed the filet of beef that cut like butter and melted in your mouth. The pureed butternut squash was the perfect accompaniment. By the time we got to the Nutella Lava Cake, I could barely take another bite. But that one bite was scrumptuous. Will definitely be back for more. Wonderful night out with friends. The icing on the cake was our server who was very attentive and made great recommendations.
food took forever to come out. When it came time to pay the system went down & we were left sitting around for 35 minutes without any concession given....they should have said its our fault system is down - meal is on us. Then to top it off, they intentionally charged the wrong amount to my card - beware*** check your accounts after eating here!!!
Visited for Magical Dining month. The crab cake appetizer was full of crab. Accompanied by a creamy, delicious tater sauce. The entree of Beef Filet was fantastic. The beef was tender and cooked perfectly. Pureed butternut squash and roasted Brussels sprouts couldn't have been better. Beautiful presentation and service. Topped off with the coffee cheesecake for dessert. A truly decadent meal. Can't wait for my next visit.
I visited The Boheme for the first time with my mom and sister who were visiting from out of town, and another friend of mine. For the bad news first: The bar service in the adjoining lounge was extremely unimpressive. I have worked in a fine dining bar, so I expect a craft cocktail to take a little time to prepare. However, my guest and I sat at the bar for approximately 20 minutes waiting for someone to pick up and run her credit card so that we could join the rest of our party in the dining room. There were only 8 guests, including ourselves, being served by three bartenders and a bar back - each of whom walked by and looked at us multiple times with no offer to help. This theme continued through the evening, as our drinks and wine took an inordinate amount of time to make it to our table. That being said, the rest of our night was flawless. Roberto was our server, and he was professional, knowledgable, courteous and entertaining. Our food was delicious - I highly recommend the Anjou salad and the Nutella cake! We chose to do the magical dining fixed-price menu at Roberto's recommendation and everything we had was WONDERFUL. Great place for a girls night out or a dinner date - don't bring your small children, though. I would definitely go back to The Boheme.
I woke up this morning remembering the fabulous dinner that I had last night. The lump crab cake was spectacular (and a regular part of the Grand Bo menu.) I ordered the steak ... and it was amazing... with a fantastic sauce.
Grand Bo is always, well... GRAND. They have outdone themselves for this year's Magical Dining experience.
Service was perfect, Denise our server asked if we were in a hurry and we said no. So She slowed things coming out of the kitchen so we finished each dish before the next one came out. The tenderloin was so tender that I didn't use the steak knife. Crab cakes were almost all crab, some of the best I have ever had. Fantastic food and service!
I was flying solo this evening so I decided to try out the Magic Dining Menue (dining month Orlando) while working at the table. They were kind to give me a large table so I had room to set the Mac.
I started with the lump crab cake; it was a hockey puck size, seared perfectly on each side and full of lump crab; served over arugula. Next I had the Mediterranean Salmon.
It was cooked medium and delicious; it did not taste fishy. It was served with a flavorful jasmine rice, olives, peppers, feta. It was delicious I would go this month, so you do not miss out on this great meal. I went with the healthiest choice for desert; the coconut pineapple gelato. Light and yummy.
Go and enjoy and get some work done if you are flying solo while enjoying a lovely meal
The brunch was setup as we came in the door. The selection was outstanding and what we had dazzled our taste buds. Shancy, our server, was also outstanding. She said we could go back as many times as we wanted with no worries. We could stay as long as we liked. Our two hour brunch was wonderful.
My husband and I went for dinner for the first time at this restaurant and what a pleasant surprise we had, when we found a very classy, romantic place. The service ( Denise) was excellent, the prefixe was a very good deal (escargots, the filet mignon, the duck breast and the desserts), the ambiance with beautiful paintings and the romantic piano (Kenne) music was absolutely perfect. We will return!!
My husband and I have been going to the Grand Bohemian Sunday Brunch for several years. The experience has always been excellent from the valet parking to the service staff and from the selection and presentation of the food to the unlimited champagne. We have our favorite items from the buffet and are always pleasantly surprised with new items. This is our number one "go to place" for Sunday Buffet. Congratulations to the staff for a consistently exceptional experience.
The Boheme has great potential to be a memorable restaurant. The food quality and taste is good, however, am not sure left enough of an impression for a desire to return. I can think of a few other restaurants who's menu choice and flavor surpass. We experienced friendly, but very slow service. We made reservations prior to a show next door. Our reservation was for 6 pm and we were seated right away. Unfortunately it was 7:45 pm and we still had not received dessert. Our show was at 8 pm so we missed out. I give them kudos for their effort considering the crowd this draws before showtime. All being said, I'm not sure our experience would draw us back again for a second round, even for a regular night without a show. Again, great potential, that I hope they are able to master. It is a great location with nice ambiance.
The food was excellent, as expected. But we were there for a pre-theater dinner, and the wait staff and kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Waited a long time for our food. Server forgot about us a food came out so we had to seek out ground pepper, drink refills, even the final check.
My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and stayed at the Grand Bohemian. Made a reservation at the Boheme on a Wednesday night, process was easy. Piano music from the Bosendorfer Lounge created a nice atmosphere. Our server was great, she presented us with a card signed by the staff in honor of occasion. Drinks, apps, main course & dessert all delicious! Would highly recommend.
Not like we remember. Would not go back. Would not recommend. Very noisy. Guests and waiters running into each other. Room is too small. Buffet area is too small for the amount of people trying to help themselves. Charge a little more if necessary and go back to the old way. Bring back the way lox should be served, not on a slice of bread and bring back all the wonderful breads that were displayed and the cheeses and cold meats and where was the pasta? I could go on and on but why. They will know what I am referring to if they receive this. The best part was our waiter (Jaun) he was fabulous and helped us try to forget all of the bad.
