I would 100% visit again.
Dinner with friends before the concert at the Dr Phillips Center. The food and service was excellent. This was the first visit for any of us to The Boheme restaurant. We liked it so much we decided to eat there again before the next concert we attend. Normally we have dinner in Winter Park before the concerts.
Very disappointed. Sat for several minutes before approached by the server. He did the bare minimum. Never discussed the menu or brought bread. Waited several more minutes to order. I ordered the chicken which was described as organic. It came out on the bone with skin. Dry and overdone. Waiter never came back to check up. Overpriced for mediocre food and even worse service.
Good environment. Nice setup. Food was good but not hteew
Had a very bad experience with harsh meat. The manager apologized but we were only offered a free main course and two glasses og white wine. Would have been appropriate to give us the entire meal for free. That would have been good service.
Very pleased with dinner, venue, location. However, our Waiter was inattentive and seemed disinterested in us.
Fine line between leaving us enjoy our conversation and us having to ask other waiters for assistance when our’s went m.i.a.
Excellent food. Even better service. Fantastic location. Definitely go!
Amazing food and service!
The swordfish special was delicious. The service was perfect.
Waiter was inattentive. Menu never changes and is far from creative. Not customer friendly since won't serve bar foods though the seats are next door to the restaurant. Portions seem to be shrinking lately.
Location is the only reason we ever go there.
Our waiter was wonderful and the food was fantastic!
Outstanding in all aspects!
Loved the restaurant, would have been excellent experience if they redid their booth seats. I suggest to get a table with chairs. Food was delish. Loved the piano music. Great to park and go to see a show at dr. Phillips center.
Staff was great, ambiance was beautiful because of the time of year it was a bit quite inside. Rib eye steak could be a little more seasoned and served with a sauce.
Our waiter to excellent care of us Justin was amazing!!
We had a great time bring in a birthday
The food was excellent. The wait was long between the dessert and the bill. It felt as if it was understaffed, nevertheless, the hostess and waitress was very polite and friendly. The waitress wanted to ensure we was satisfied. She took off the dessert, not sure because it was tough to cut or because it was our anniversary. We don't drink alcohol, so she offered wine a few times, but she wouldn't know that. The ambiance was very laid back, I liked the art and unique furnishings.
The service here is always excellent and the food is top notch.
This is the third consecutive year we have had Leo as our waiter and he spoils us though I think we are not unique. He is an excellent and attentive waiter.
I believe this our seventh year of celebrating our anniversary at your restaurant and we enjoy the ambience, excellent food and music. Your flutiest and sax along with the accompanying pianist were excellent.
Thank you for your wonderful service and we look forward to next year.
The experience was GREAT - Leo is amazing always every year
We’ve been to The Boheme numerous times so we were excited to return for NYE with some friends of ours (another couple). While our main waiter was very kind and courteous, our overall service experience was poor. It was a rocky start given we told our waiter that my husband is allergic to dairy, and he recommended the aged butter tenderloin. When my husband reminded him that he’s allergic to dairy, he said the steak has been soaking in butter, so it would be a minute amount. My husband was hesitant to eat anything else referred by the waiter after that. Over the course of our dinner, we had to ask for the same things numerous times, we had to wait 40 minutes for drinks and even had the wrong drinks brought to us, the fish was rubbery for lack of a better word, and the manager was not even helpful when we addressed our issues. Again, he was kind like our waiter, but provided no resolutions. He did offer to have the kitchen bring out different entrees, but everything had taken so long and it was already 11:15pm and we didn’t want to ring in midnight in the restaurant. Even after he left, it took another 10 minutes for our waiter to return to us to ask about dessert. It was a terrible experience and a $600+ expense that was not in any way worth the value. Very unfortunate given we absolutely loved this restaurant. Hopefully this was just one bad night and not the new norm.
New Years was lovely. The cauliflower soup was outstanding...that would be worth going back for.
Great food and excellent service!
Good experience with excellent customer service
Let me start by saying that we have been to this restaurant many times with an overall good experience. This time was another experience. Server took 10 minutes to go to our table after we were sat. He seemed rushed and not caring. We had to ask for bees after sitting at our table for 20 min. Mojito was returned because it had a weird aftertaste. Lentil soup was water down and unflavored. My steak was burned and dry and mashed potatoes were cold. After I returned my food we got our Ck and paid, manager never came over to apologize for an awful experience.
Not at the fine dining level I would have expected.
I had the ribeye. Ordered it med-rare but came out medium. I usually don’t send stuff back but i decided if I’m spending $44 on a steak I’d better enjoy it. Got the re-fire back and it was ok. Not the best I’ve ever had but not the worst. My wife got the sea bass and said she enjoyed it. Server was polite and accommodating, gave me an extra glass of wine on the house for the trouble. Hostess was rude. Walked 15 paces in front of us and left the menus on the table without saying a word.
My husband and I visited downtown Orlando for a college football game. We found many good local bars, but not many upscale restaurants. We ate 2x in the Grand Bohemian. Our waiter Leo was wonderful and would recommend him highly. The wine list had decent wine and my husband loved his Manhattan. The salmon was delicious.
Great time. Excellent service. The perfect spot for lunch.
Great atmosphere and food. The service and food arrival was slow and we didn’t get every beverage we ordered in addition to having to request additional water after being completely out.
Great meal with friends. The staff was very attentive.
Horrible experience, which we'd like to blame on simply it being Xmas day, but it is our belief that at least on this night poor training and lack of adequate management skills/experience were the root of the problems. This special champagne dinner was artfully and ambitiously promoted and attracted a number of patrons who were not guests of the hotel since we observed them leaving via the street entrance, but delivery was sorely lacking in both the food (although my steak was prepared to proper temperature and was not bad) and level of service. We would not return.
We were sat 30 mins after our reservation time but the food was great.
My husband, daughter and I went to The Boheme to have Christmas dinner. We had reservations for 7:15 pm and waited at the hostess stand for 15 minutes before anyone came to welcome us. We were told it would be a 30 min wait before they were able to seat us and were seated about 45 mins later. Our server Justin, was very nice. We were served our drinks immediately but waited 15 mins before our order was taken. The bread wasn’t brought out until 20 mins later and immediately followed by the appetizers. The service was EXTREMELY slow. Our server informed us that there were no managers on duty and they were pretty much running the show themselves. All in all the food was ok but not worth the price and the service was too slow for the occasion and location. Management needs some serious help because that was not ok on no levels.
We went for Christmas buffet lunch with a reservation. Upon arriving at the check in table we waited for 5 minutes until someone showed up to the stand to check us in. After waiting about another 15 minutes they called us up and offered us to share a 6 top or we could have the 6 top to ourselves. Not wanting to waste a table for the restaurant we opted to share.
Food was mediocre at best. Never saw the ham. The carver for the roast beef and turkey was the same person running back and forth across the room to carve at different tables. Should have put both on the same table and saved the carver from having to run back and forth.
Service was awful but why should the waiters try they get an automatic 20% tip which is not pre-disclosed. For $80 a meal we should be able to get water in a glass and not a plastic cup. And should be able to get refills without begging. Dirty plates were only cleared upon request .
To top it all off, you get to pay to park your car!
All in all a very disappointing meal! We expected much better from the Grand Bohemian.
The Christmas Buffet, out seating was delayed by a half hour but the service & the food were excellent. Our second year in a row with like results. We were seated in an area with other adults so were spared the families with babies & small children. Great selection of food, a nice variety & very well prepared. Our server was pleasant & kept the mimosas coming, the water glasses filled & the empty plates cleared.
Very disappointed this year. The food was cold and tasted like it was left out too long. The server we had seemed to be inexperienced and not very friendly. The wait to get seated was a little too long.
The seafood was great, great crepes, nice standards of beef, turkey, cheeses, mimosas. Would like to see more salad options, berries, sugar-free items.
Expectations were high for this Christmas Brunch but we were seriously underwhelmed. Although the selection was extensive and well presented the food was mediocre at best. We never had a "wow" moment. The service was also mediocre. We continuously had to ask the waiter for a fork, a drink, our bill, etc. With a price tag of $200 for two (it included a 20% tip automatically added to the bill), we left feeling let down. We will not be returning next year nor would we recommend to anyone.
We had an excellent time. We went for the Christmas Brunch and it was awesome. The food and service were excellent.
Went for Christmas Eve dinner with my wife. The place is very nice. Food is average and the service is bad. At the end is very overpriced for what you get in food and service.
Won’t go back.
