Delicious pear salad, carpaccio and lamb as well as ribeye steak! Wonderful wine selection too! Will go back!
Great experience! Server was attentive and knowledgeable. Will visit again!
Good food but could use some critiques.
Seafood dip was overseasoned
Prime Rib had excellent crust but was a little tough.
Eggs Benedict prime rib was bland
Could use a few more desserts maybe some with Passion fruit or Strawberries.
Rain Rum cake was super dry.
Best brunch in Orlando!
The restaurant is lovely and our server was kind and attentive. The Caesar salad looked awful for such a nice restaurant. It tasted ok. My husband’s med rare steak was over cooked. My salmon was delicious, but was served on a bed of fresh spinach leaves as if it was a salad with a protein. So unappealing in taste with all the spinach and presentation. Finally, my glass of wine was good, but husband’s was on cusp of going bad. Our server took the wines off the bill without us saying anything other than the steak was over cooked. We sent nothing back as we didn’t want. Just way underwhelming from how the restaurant is presented. Maybe bc it was a slow Monday?
Very awesome food , just not a great placr for conversation
3 servers and did not get the eggs Benedict!!!!
Brunch amazing !
We came here for the first time before seeing a show at the dr Phillips center. Despite the restaurant itself being very lovely, the food was bland and nothing memorable. To start my gin and tonic was flat. The most memorable thing was the beef carapaccio. It was delicious. I got the sea bass and my husband got the tenderloin. He said it was good, but the potatoes that came with it were hardly seasoned. My sea bass while Cooked well and tender lacked any sort of flavor. It was accompanied by various vegetables that were bland and had little seasoning. It came on a bed of butternut squash purée, again absolutely no flavor besides squash. For the price point we will not be back.
Food and service always good
The food is good, the ambiance is special, but the server was nowhere to be found after he took the order. I asked for a burger with no bun, and it was cooked perfectly but served on a board with juices flowing and ready to spill over. I had to ask for it to be served on a plate. My companion absolutely loved the lobster bisque, and she said the haddock on her sandwich was very good and freshly prepared, not a frozen fish square. Overall it is a wonderful place to dine.
Service was friendly but took a long time. Also don’t order the prime rib. Was super tough and not much flavor.
We come to the grand bohemian to stay and have dinner. Always exceptional however this time our waiter sucked, took 30 min to get a drink, i had to actually refill our own glasses of wine by walking over to the cart the bottle was stored on and getting it myself. My wife was brought the wrong meal and my meal which is the same exact thing i order every time was not cooked correctly. I told the hostess and she didnt say or do anything but say she would pass along the info.
Great ambiance, good location. Service is what you would expect for a restaurant of this caliber. Where the problem exists is the food. Very average at best. Prime Rib was an average piece of meat, cooked to a medium rare as requested, but delivered to the table late. Not a bad meal , but not a great meal. Would have expected more.
Excellent food; excellent service - Justin was great.
Food was just OK. I had lamb and the wedge salad. I had just had the wedge salad 4 weeks ago st Kres. Kres was much better, both in dressing and freshness of the lettuce. Lamb was two very small pieces. Healthy portion of potatoes with peppers.
The restaurant is just loud. The wooden floors are beautiful, but the result was that I could not hear the voices of everyone at our table.
Waitress was solid, timely attention to our plans to attend a play afterward.
This was my second visit overall. The first one was better, and I’ll be back, but not for a while.
IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF THE FRONT DESK OF THE RESTAURANT WOULD ANSWER THEIR PHONE. I CALLED AT LEAST 8 TIMES AND EVEN WITH A PERSON STANDING NEXT TO THE PHONE THEY DIDN’T BOTHER TO ANSWER IT. THE SERVICE WE GOT FORM OUR SERVER WAS OVER THE TOP “GREAT” SERVICE. IT ALMOST MADE UP FOR THE STRESS ON NOT HAVING OUR PHONE CALLS ANSWERED. THE SALAD WITH CHICKEN WAS STRANGE..... WHY WOULD YOU PUT AIRPLANE CHICKEN ON A SALAD? IT DIDN’T MAKE SENCE IT SHOULD OF BEEN CUT INTO STRIPS OR AT LEAST CHUNKS OF CHICKEN.
This has been the fourth time that we have been to the restauran and first for lunch. Each time La Boheme seems to slip a little bit more toward mediocrity. This time we were seated for lunch in the bar. Really? No option for the restaurant even though it was 1030 am? The table in the restaurant had a chair that sank at least 10 inches to my chest. We asked to be moved and were shown a high top table. Upon sitting the table wobbled at least two inches left and right. Our waiter Juan tried to fix it and we went to ANOTHER high top that also wobbled. Then we were shown to a low table and had our lunch. During lunch waitstaff continuously brought food to our table in the mistaken belief that we ordered additional food. It was for other tables.
Our waiter was excellent-Juan.
Unfortunately I would expect wobbly tables and broken chairs at IHOP. The bar manager should have some kind of checklist to ensure basic items are ready to go. I doubt I will be back for a while.
Food was flavorless, chicken was not marinated and neither was the steak. Crabcake was horrible. Vegetables were dry. The food was overpriced and it's a shame because with such a beautiful restaurant and hotel you'd expect the food to match but it did not at all. Even the salad tasted off, dressing was not fresh and the crutons were an odd color.
We've been to dinner twice in the last month. We really love this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food was awesome. We went once before going to the Dr. Phillips for a show and they couldn't have been more accommodating to our schedule. Love this place.
Staff was very friendly, nice variation on menu, flavorful entree’s.
Food quality and selection was good but the service was really bad.
Amazing. The service was great. The food was incredible.
Great day, Nicole was very great at accommodating us. Also our waiter Juan was awesome. My experience keeps getting better every time I come. Thanks again for a great day.
Comfortable dining area. Menu was a bit tired, with no vegetarian offerings. We wouldn’t go back.
The only reason I come back is for the food! I can not express how horribly structured this restaurant is. If you don’t care about service, then you’ll enjoy this place. The food is always amazing.
This was a pre Dr Phillips center dinner and we only had about an hour before the performance. We were seated early which we very much appreciated. Our waiter was excellent and we were served in a timely manner with plenty of time to get to the theater. My husband’s steak was perfect and I had the off the menu special of scallops. The food was excellent but my scallops were not very warm. Had we had time I would have requested a warm up. Having said that the scallops were cooked to perfection - not an easy think to do. In all I had very pleased with the dinner.
Overall, ambiance and service was good but disappointed in a few areas: entree arrived very shortly and midway through appetizer. All plates stacked onto table. Ordered filet and 2 sides. Filet was OK but sides were small and overcooked. For the price of this restaurant, little surprising.
Many return visits from out of town. Always excellent.
The place was packed. Very loud. Service was slow. The cocktail I ordered must have sat at the bar for a while because the ice had been melting by the time it arrived. The dressing on the pear salad lacked flavor. The tenderloin was cooked to order but it had so much rub I could hardly taste the meat. We had out of town guests and no one complimented the food. No one ordered dessert. Outside of the Citrus Clubtgere are few fine dining options downtown. Too bad.
This is a great place to treat yourself to a special lunch. Great service and food selection.
Piano player makes for great ambiance but a little too loud. The online-menu was different than the menu in the restaurant. I had made selections based on dropping off the rest of our party while I parked the car. So that didn't work as well as I had hoped. But overall a marvelous experience.
The food is wonderful. Hard to hear each other however. Lots of people. Multiple trips for different foods.
Food was great. Waiter Renford was awesome. Always a great experience!
Service is outstanding and we always enjoy the food and dining experience.
Upscale presentation while the buffet area is a bit tight.
We were extremely disappointed with the service provided particularly for our daughter who has a soy allergy. We had attempted to telephone the restaurant on numerous occasions with no success (no-one ever picked up) and in the end we left a voice message regarding the soy allergy and a contact telephone number. No-one responded, upon arrival there was no acknowledgement of the soy allergy. We asked what our daughter could have and they could only provide fruit. We were told the chef was too busy to do anything else by waiting staff. After discussing with the manager she asked us to think of something for our daughter and in the end they could not do any of our suggestions as all of the cooking oil they use contains soy, all of the bread they use contains soy etc. Considering we have eaten out twice a day for 2 weeks during our stay in Orlando, this was the first and only eatery that has not been able to/willing to accommodate for our daughter. We would expect more from The Boheme.
The food and service were excellent!
Loved the raw bar and never made it to the omelette station.
Leisurely and laid back.
