The food was good as always. The problem was the pacing of the courses. We ordered an appetizer to share followed by a soup and finally a salad entree. When ordering we asked for a little time to enjoy our cocktails and calamari. Almost at the same time we started to eat the calamari the soup arrived. I asked them to bring it back to the kitchen to keep it warm which they did. But while we were still eating the appetizer the main course arrived. when i looked up a couple at another table were signaling that the same thing happened to them.
Our bill was over $100.00 which was what i expected but at that price you should not be rushed.
A definite fine dining experience. Food, wine selection excellent. Our server, Ron, was the best with his recommendations and service.
I was told that this place was the best place to go for brunch in Orlando. After my experience on Sunday, I would rather go somewhere else as I wasn’t offered anything more than most other brunch spots in Orlando.
Underwhelming is the best way to describe my experience.
Amazing brunch! Amazing service! The ambiance and music was just enough!
The bottomless mimosas and fresh banana fosters crepes were great!
I was very disappointed with the service. Our waiter seemed to be preoccupied. Our food arrived with no silverware and we waited about five minutes until we received our silverware after asking. This was our first visit and will be our last.
Not very busy but they still seated us next to other people. We would have much rather been seated away from others and avoided hearing about the New York Yankees for an hour. Other than that it was great.
WAY WAY too noisy. Couldn’t even have a conversation. Service excellent but food fair.
Nice place, food is average, but service was decent. We kept having to wait for plates which was a little annoying, but overall the staff’s friendliness made up for it.
The Jazz brunch never disappoints. The staff was wonderful as always - attentive, informed, and very pleasant. The food was spot on and its a great benefit of not only have the brunch buffet but ordering off the ala carte menu being included is a nice touch for special items. If you love brunch and are in Orlando, you should definitely come here on a Sunday.
Awesome experience; excellent food and great service!
Be prepared for lots of noise.
Loud conversation and broadcast of the live piano music makes this a place where quiet conversation is non existent and loud talking is standard, but necessary. My wife and I couldn't "hear ourselves think" and a quiet romantic dinner between us was an unfulfilled dream. (Apparently, they don't want this type of business.)
The evening was especially disappointing since we asked for a table away from the noise where we can talk. When we sat down in the back of the restaurant at 6pm, the tables around us were vacant. But in a short time, the round tables of 6-8 on either side of us were occupied with lubricated diners.
The food and service was acceptable although our enjoyment of the evening was stained by the inability to talk to each other. We ate silently, paid our outrageous bill, then left.
Customer service at this site is poor; no one to answer the phone, inattentive servers, slow service getting the main course out for the 2 of us in a less than full restaurant and bartenders lacking knowledge about cocktail coffee drinks. Specialty drinks and main courses are overpriced for the amount and quality of the offerings.
It's always good at The Boheme. The restaurant is the perfect place to go to if you are attending the Dr. Phillips Center. We have eaten here numerous times before an event at the center. Food is always delicious, the service is very good and the ambiance is really lovely.
We have eaten at this place about 15 times previously and never had issues like we did this time. Absolutely awful service. They brought my salad out with my appetizer even though I had told the waiter I wanted it when my wife had her salad after the appetizer. Twenty five minutes after I had finished my appetizer we were still waiting on my wife's salad when I asked the waiter where her salad was. He had totally forgotten it! Then just as they did bring her salad they also brought both of our main courses. At that point we told them to take the salads away as we didn't want our main courses to get cold. We should have eaten the salads. My pork chop was luke warm and my wife's fish was cold. Obviously our food had been sitting somewhere for awhile. When I spoke to the manager about this poor dinner experience he offered to take the two salads off my bill. I said you mean the two salads we didn't eat? He didn't get my sarcasm as he seemed to think not charging me for food we hadn't eaten due to this place's incompetence made up for everything. It was very loud and the cushion seat against the wall was not comfortable at all. Having eaten here many times before we will now look for another place to eat when we are in Orlando to see a show.
Our dinner/evening was planned with/for a friend who has stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. The evening started off bad when we arrived for our 6 pm reservation and were told that they had a 45 seat party and our only option was to sit in the rotunda. We collectively said absolutely not and found a table for 4 that was available and pulled up an extra chair (not optimum). The wait staff tried to make up for the seating mishap but fell short. The food took longer than expected and was overcooked and cool, not hot. One of the guests at our table was told that what she had ordered (30 minutes before) was no longer available as they were delivering everyone else's dinners and by the time she got her dinner we had all finished or given up. We collectively spent almost $400. I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone...It was very disappointing.
Easy to make reservation via Open Table, good professional service with good selection. Food was very good and prepared right and on time. Need more place like this
Not a huge fan, this brunch is over-hyped.
Crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, oysters...that is your main draw. My experience these were so picked over and not avail for most of my meal. I didn't want to sit down for a 2 hour breakfast. I got my share but def not worth going back.
Eggs, bacon, Sausage is standard.
We were at Brunch on Sunday October 28,2018 celebrating our MOMS 85th birthday! She had always wanted to go & it was the BEST gift we had given her! Devin was our waiter & he was OUTSTANDING!! Bravo to him & for The Grand Bohemian to have him as part of the team. It was a memory she'll always hold close to her. Thank you!
We were in a rush as usual because we were going to the doctor Phillips performance of Tales of Hoffman ...our waiter was wonderful he got us in and out very quickly which I really appreciate . we both had the pear salad which was excellent my very favorite!
Very quiet for a Saturday lunch. Food was delicious.
The food was amazing. However the service was terrible. There were so many things that could have been avoided with better training. Very disappointed. It was a night we were trying to celebrate and the poor service ruined it.
I can’t even begin to say how disappointed we were with our experience. We were completely ignored by our server for a half hour after being seated. When we finally caught the attention of a hostess and asked that she send her over, she was then incredibly rude. We were there for my birthday celebration, and it was just awful. I will never go back.
We’ve dined here many times over the course of 15 years; this review was difficult but in order for the superiors to get the brutal truth of our experience my ratings reflect that. Though our server was nice and articulate; our overall experience was similar to what one would experience at a TGIF Friday’s. Please be more attentive to your guests
First time at this venue; last time at this venue. The food was excellent; the service was the worst I have experienced in all of Orlando. Waitress started off fairly well but it deteriorated quickly. Water glasses were never refilled. Dirty dishes stayed on the table until we were left. Just an awful experience...
We looked online for a nearby restaurant to have dinner before the Doobie Brothers concert. The reviews were accurate that the food is simply amazing from the salads to desert! Justin was our waiter and was fantastic! We would ask for him again. Loved the entrees! And how classy to have a grand piano to provide live entertainment! The Boheme is a 5 Star.
We had the Lamb Choos and Beef Tenderloin! Excellent! Delicious and perfectly cooked to our liking!!!
Food not as good as last time. Desserts were poor. Chocolate lava cake was tiny for $12.50 (cookie-sized). Frozen sherbet dessert was served liquid-y. Guests were disappointed.
Excellent brunch with a fun atmosphere. Music was great.
The Sunday buffet was most impressive, with wide assortment and many options. Food was very good. Noticed there was no salad available. Waiter was not very attentive and was extremely slow at removing plates. Noise level was high and conversation at our 4-person table took effort and concentration.
It was lovely! Had the peach salad which is wonderful!
We all really enjoyed our "Jazz Brunch". Great food, good music and terrific atmosphere. What a way to spend Sunday Morning!
We went for Magical Dining so we weren’t expecting a superb meal. The food was very good but our waitress was not at all friendly. She had an “I don’t want to be here” attitude and did the bare minimum.
I ate st the restaurant Friday evening before a concert and Sunday with family. Both nights I did the magical dining. Both nights the food was great. Only thing I noticed is that on Friday when I ordered magical dining, I ordered the pork chop. It was about 3/4 inch thick boneless chop. Very good. On Sunday one of my guests ordered the pork chop off the magical dining menu and his was at least 3 inches thick with a bone. It was beautifully presented. I was disappointed when I saw his chop compared to what I got on Fridsy. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but I got cheated by getting a chop half the size as his. If I hadn’t been there 2 times in 3 days, I wouldn’t have known any better.
Excellent service and food! Was our 1st visit and our expectations were exceeded. Worth the drive from Tampa; we will be back!!!!
Wonderful atmosphere, enjoyed Sunday brunch with the family and service and food was excellent. I would highly recommend .
Very classy first class place for dinner. Lobster soup, fried calamari and sea bass were outstanding offsetting the OK tenderloin, soso salmon with "rice"? and the horribly overcooked chicken breast (twice). Excellent service made up for the negatives.
Food and restaurant are terrific. Noise level was quite high - difficult to hear dining companions.
We had to wait at our designated table for 30 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. Yes, she was busy, but a quick "hello" and a glass of water would have sufficed. We had a 6:30 pm reservation for 6 people - this service is unacceptable in a restaurant of this nature.
The Hostess was not friendly at all. Even though I know I arrived 30 mints prior to our reservation, no effort was put to acknowledge and the restaurant was not full at all. Our service was good and the food as well. Probably would not come back, but if someone wants to try it you might be treated better when you arrive. I also noted when I did the reservation that we went for our 8th anniversary and nothing was done for this. I did not expect anything for free but a "congratulations" from the staff would have been nice to hear as other restaurants of this level do so. The lack of details that make such a difference was noticeably missing.
