Great food beautiful view. Need to be more flexible with food to allergies. Had pre prepared food that could not be changed to for my sisters allergy to fat.
The fish they could prepare with not fat was delicious. Our server was excellent.
Highly recommend the. Boathouse.

The patio has a very nice view. We had good service and great food. Inside dining can be a little noisey so we like to chose the outside.

This is my first Open Table review, and I must start by saying our Thanksgiving meal was a bit of a disaster. We came for the third and last seating at 6:00, the kitchen and staff were clearly overwhelmed, and many of the food options ran out over the course of our meal. BUT the waitstaff could not have been nicer. We saw people shout at them, berate them, and I'm pretty certain one of ours disappeared to cry more than once. But they graciously comped a significant portion of our meal, apologized profusely, and thanked us for our kindness, really. This seemed to strain the kitchen, but the food we got was very good, and we will be back. Be humane, people. Waitstaff are not chattel.

Thanksgiving dinner: Waited an hour and a half for appetizer. Got the wrong appetizer and was assured several times the right one was on its way. Never came. Ordered the Turkey dinner and was served a plate of what seemed to be dark meat scraps and giblets - didn't eat it. This was two hours later. Was told they were out of three of four dessert choices. Charged full price without even an apology. Left two and a half hours later and hungry. Will be sure to tell all of my friends.

Beautiful views, great ambiance. I was expecting just a little more from the food considering the prices at this place in general but I guess you’re paying for the location. Food was good but I was expecting excellent. They were out of the dessert I wanted and took a long time to come back to tell me but otherwise service was great. Would come back and recommend to others.

Great local restaurant with beautiful view and excellent food to take friends too - particularly for out of town friends in the winter. Would have liked to have eaten out in the patio but the band was too loud for talking. Ended up sitting around the corner in the enclosed patio which worked out fine and had a wonderful evening visiting with old friends.

Food is just okay but ambience is wonderful. Didn’t expect a musician right behind our table on patio to start playing at 2:00 in afternoon. Difficult to hear my friends. Wish he would of started later for the TGIF crowd.

The location is this restaurant’s main asset. The service was OK, but not fantastic. Prices are reasonable.
I was disappointed with the texture of my barramundi. This fish is a type of Asian sea bass, and I love Chilean sea bass. But the barramundi reminded me of tilapia, which is not as flavorful as the Chilean sea bass. I tried my friend’s swordfish and was not impressed. I had eaten here once before, but it was a salad, which was good. Their oysters on the half shell were OK.
When I made the reservation, I stated that it was a birthday celebration; well, it was never brought up.
The main asset of this restaurant is its location. The beautiful bay front let’s you forget that the food was not to par, or that the serve forgot that I was celebrating a friend’s birthday.

We were entertaining guests from out of town and got seated in the annex instead of the main dining room. That room is OK when you have a very large group, but not for a table of 6.

Food was passable, not great, and overpriced. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive and the live music (guy with a guitar named Mike) was good. Overall we felt this place didn't live up to the hype. We won't be back.

Perfect spot for either a relaxing business meal or with family and friends. They have a great outside patio with wood chairs and views of the canal. Inside views with views of the end of the canal.
This was our first visit and the food was delicious. Seared Ahi salad, chicken sandwich and quinoa and kale salad. We also tried the berry compote dessert. Very Good.

The ambiance was beautiful but the restaurant deserves a new chef. The artichoke was tough and tasteless. The seafood was not prepared using the Cajon method and lacked taste. One of our guests had to apply limes to get the shrimp palatable. The only thing that was good was the bread. Not worth any money.

I have eaten here before with good results, but after telling my sister how good this was, the Sunday lunch was not a pleasant experience. I had reservations for 2pm and we did not leave until 1 hour and 50 minutes later. That is how slow service was. There really was no excuse for this. Our waiter was fine, but the kitchen was ridiculously slow. There also was a birthday group of 8 young women who were so loud the whole restaurant could hear them. The staff should have put them in a private room for their celebration, especially since they got fairly inebriated the longer lunch went on. My sister's Cobb salad came with no dressing, a few croutons and no Parmesan cheese. It was a $11 bowl of lettuce that our waiter had to fix. It also took 20 minutes for our dessert to come to the table. I spoke to the manager, and he nicely took off the desserts. At $120, lunch was overpriced, slow, and a disappointment. Probably won't be back.

First we ordered an appetizer and then ordered our dinners the appetizer came and was good but unfortunately the salads were deliver the same time as our dinner was delivered. Also my wife ask for all vegetables rather than the potatoes that were on the menu, the waitress said no problem but when the meal came, It was as listed on the menu with potatoes and two carrots. When we brought it to the waitresses attention two sticks of broccoli were brought out at the end of our meal. For this caliber of restaurant and price I would expect more.

I literally went there for the pork chop dinner, because I had been there twice already and both times they were out of pork chops. Well, guess what? 3 strikes you are out. No pork chop dinner, again. What gives, guys? Take it off the menu if you can't provide it for your paying customers. I won't be back anytime soon...

Hard to say. Our only complaint was that our food was cold.

lobster tail @$75 was cold (cooked but cold)
Sea Bass Cold (cooked but cold)

No idea why. Service and everything else was great. I imagine, if the food was warm it would have been delicious. Brought the lobster tail home to cook it for breakfast. Sadly.

Our server Paige, was the worst from the get go until we left. Rude, never smiled until she handed us our check. Knowingly spilled beer on one of my guest and never apologized. Dropped another guests lunch on the ground, it was a mess around her chair, asked for an extra umbrella, we were a table of 10 outside, her response was only management can give us one, as the rule is 1 umbrella to a table, noting that a table of 6 had 3 umbrellas and so on...We love this place but Paige is the worst server we all agreed that we have had in a very long time.

First of all, the view... On the water, very nice. If you can't get seated where you can enjoy the view, turn around, not worth it. There really is no other reason to come here, unless you love forking out way too much money for average food. The mixed drinks were strong, but I expect that for $15 a pop. The place is very loud on the patio, where the view is best, so intimate conversation can be a struggle. Best for large, fun groups and celebrations. There was live music on a Friday night, a girl and her acoustic guitar, and she was good, but not the reason the place is loud...that was the large amount of people packed in together, with barely room to move, trying to be heard over one another. We had to walk all around the outer edge of the patio just to find a path to get back inside the restaurant and exit without asking people to move their chairs in so we could squeeze by. Service was attentive, zero complaints there. For a place that prides itself on fish and sushi though, I wasn't very impressed with the ahi, not as fresh and firm as it should be, a tad mushy and slimy. I have a hard time dropping $150 for two drinks, an appetizer, three small tacos with no sides, and a sandwich, just to enjoy an ocean view. I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant to anyone other than people who care about view over anything else and are willing to pay for it.
