It was quite possibly the best atmosphere my wife and I could ask for to celebrate our anniversary! We enjoyed it so much, we plan to make it an annual visit.
My husband treated me to dinner here for my birthday. Great choice! He had the petit filet mignon and I had the salisbury steak. Both were delicious with excellent gravies. They were the perfect size portions also. The view out over the lake is fantastic! It was so cool to see 8 deer prancing over the frozen expanse. The service was cheerful and friendly and quick. Of course, it wasn't very busy on a Tuesday night in March.
Amazing steak !!
Incredible service and food. Our annual dinner for our anniversary.
Patrick, our server, was great. A little too noisy.
Planned a special celebration with friends. The location is like very, service was great, but the food just wasn’t special, especially for the price! $40 for a steak is not terribly outrageous, but the sides were steamed vegetables. No starch, no salad, and no wow factor. In times passed the food was exceptional, and the nightly specials presented fresh, unique options. No specials, not unique, and well, not special. A disappointment.
We were seated in a private booth but were close enough to the bar area to enjoy the live music, which was great. Noise level was perfect, we could easily hear each other in conversation. Everything about our experience was superb and we look forward to returning next time we are in Whitefish!
Not impressed with food, price or service. I would have been happier ordering pizza.
Always so yummy!! Love this place!!
People are great. The lodge/Whitefish,Montana I like to call home though I live 5 hours away. Ill see you again soon.
Very accommodating. We were late for our reservation but our large party was seated with a smile. Very good service. Would go back.
We absolutely loved our Christmas breakfast at The Boat Club! The food was delicious, the view breathtaking and the service was on point!
We will definitely be back our next trip!
Service not very good. Poor handling of space for single diner.
Arguably one of the finest dining experiences in the Flathead Valley.
Very Good food from the appetizers to the deserts!!!
It's a Sunday evening during the lull between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We were the only ones in the restaurant but that didn't make a difference in the service and the quality of food. Both were excellent and we'd highly recommend this restaurant. Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and wife's Duck was too. The waitress (and hotel) provided our dessert at no cost since it was our anniversary and it was delicious. We'll go back even when we're not celebrating a special occasion
We are regulars and always enjoy the experience. The frustration is with the process of making the actual reservations. You have to leave your name and phone number and then, after weeks, just before the holiday, someone calls you back. Bad!Never heard of such a process. Secondly, the noise factor when it is full is high, making it hard to hear each other. Still great food!
Well worth the money but it should be a $$ and not the $ that is listed everywhere
Thank you, we had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Made very special by the wonderful dessert😊
Everything was amazing except the main entree. It was the prime rib. Cold and extremely fatty. Other than that, literally everything else was great.
Quality of food OUTSTANDING, Price about average, Service beyond outstanding!!!
The restaurant is in the Lodge on Whitefish lake--a truly beautiful and classically designed location. The view of the lake from the restaurant is outstanding. The food was very good and the service was professional and attentive. This is a wonderful place to stay and eat when in the Glacier National Park area.
There is nothing better to than to have a meal with Lakeview. All my servers were great. The live music was great entertainment also.
We had good food, good service. Both better than average. View of the lake is great.
Very noisy. Prime Rib tough! Too many kids (not controlled) adults & kids on cell phones. Not a romantic or quiet occasions.
Staff arranged silverware cleaned table didnot even say Hi
Two Fish dishes were over-cooked, dry. Nice atmosphere, but over cooking a delicate fish is not good. $38 rib-eye was huge, but lacked tenderness. Perhaps that's typical of Montana beef?
We had a great experience from valet parking, to wonderful food and great service. A bit pricey for us but well worth it. We will go again!
Prachtig uitzicht en prima eten. Vriendelijke bediening.
Absolutely great. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. The view was tremendous and the lodging met the same standards. We were only in Whitefish for three nights, but had dinner there twice. That says it all!
Excellent service and fantastic food - thank you for an awesome meal.
We were staying at the Lodge and eloped in Glacier National Park. We had our wedding night dinner at the Boat Club. They were attentive and took care of receiving and displaying the cake that we ordered.
Clearly a 5 star. The place to eat in Whitefish, MT. Service is excellent--staff is obviously well-trained. Huckleberry Mud Pie is a must have. Crab cakes appetizer was very special.
The food could have been hotter
That was our biggest complaint
We had two tables of such rudely loud people that I doubt we will ever go back. Our server did not know them so doubt they were regulars. We were not able to visit with our friends. Our anniversary was not recognized.
Great food, efficient and friendly staff, perfect restaurant - whether dining alone, on a date, or hosting a group dinner.
Our meal at the Boat Club was a disappointment. My husband ordered the 6 oz filet prepared medium and I ordered the wild Alaskan salmon. The filet was very raw in the middle and was returned to the kitchen. They filet was returned to our table and was still raw. I was enjoying the first few bites of my salmon until I discovered that it was raw in the middle. The server offered us a "free" dessert as consolation for our experience. We won't be going back.
We enjoyed a delightful brunch with friends and the eggs benedict and shrimp and grits delicious. We asked for a table with lake views and weren't disappointed. Our servers were friendly. There were two loud groups at tables nearby and this was the only negative.
My only complaint would be that the size of the portions on some (not all) entries was a little on the light side.
Beautiful spot with good food. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Just wondering, given that we had reserved 3 weeks in advance why we weren't offered a table outside, and when we did get one outside, it was a little out of the way.... But we still saw the amazing sunset.
The restaurant food was unacceptable and they did not have a good wine selection. Will not go back
