   Delightful view over the marina, with complimentary aperitif. Calamari was tasty and tender, but we asked for more aioli for dipping. Caesar Salad was made with butter lettuce and perfectly dressed. Chilean Seabass was flakey tender and not overcooked. Server was very helpful, graciously accepting several special requests. In all, a delightful dinner!

   We love this restaurant but had an incredibly disappointing experience for the Mother's Day Buffet. We have spent many special occasions here and bring out of town guests. Unfortunately the service was not good. We paid an automatic $40+ tip for bad service. And we paid $70 PP for a brunch where the dessert table was removed as desserts were gone. We loved the food and the view but the service and what we got were disappointing for how much we paid. It felt like a waste of money. Very disappointing. I will continue to recommend the view and the food but will qualify it in the future with inconsistent service and very expensive. We will likely rethink our future plans.

   Restaurant is in beautiful location and service was attentive. That is where it stops, food was underwhelming and some of it was just awful. Execution was lacking and would not go back to eat.

    Fun Saturday night with John Dunnigan's outstanding music and humor, as he always engages the crowd! An extra treat hearing Mya (Whitefish native) singing with John. Steve always serves us with a smile, and you can't beat the setting on Whitefish Lake!

    Our server Jean was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about everything & if we asked a question she didn’t know the answer to she immediately went to find out the answer! The added treat of a vodka sour on the house was fantastic & put us all in a festive mood. Dinner was great! Drinks were terrific! My husband loved their signature pecan maple syrup old fashioned! Best old fashioned in the Flathead & we have been here for over 20 years. Valet service is always appreciated & these guys do an awesome job! Thanks! Haven’t been here in awhile & it was top notch! Keep up the good work & kudos to all the staff for doing a great job! Even loved the young gal serving water who is from Equador. She was very pleasant & was keeping a close watch on refilling our water glasses.

    This was our first time dining here and it was very good! We made reservations ahead of time and were glad we had because it was packed in the lounge. The cocktails we ordered were good value and tasted great. We both ordered the trout, which was good well and the sides were good too. The portion did seem a little small for the price, but not by a lot. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

    The fish I ordered was extremely dry- so bad I couldn’t even eat it. And it didn’t taste good at all. We asked the waiter to take it off the bill but he didn’t. The waiter was also very slow and not attentive. Food came before we even got our drinks. The service was overall just terrible.

    My husband and I are staying at the lodge for five days for my birthday. It's been awhile since we ate here. We were blessed with an amazing waitress MacKenzie! The charcuterie board was very good! We both ordered the special Bolognese sauce and pasta. It was so spicy I couldn't eat it. Husband likes spicy food, he ate it, but his eyes were watering. I ended up getting the shrimp pasta with kale, tomatoes etc., It was very good. We were able to move to the bar for the live music. Unfortunately, something happened and the band left. Loved the huckleberry oreo ice cream cake. MacKenzie is a people person! She is friendly, nice, on top of her job, exceeds expectations! We chatted with the manager while checking out. Informed him that she is a gem and make sure to keep her! Next day...we booked another reservation for the next day and try again. Loved the music was entertaining. We ordered an appetizer was good. Husband had the bison sliders, smallest pieces of meat we have ever seen. Really just had a ton of fries on the plate. Meat was okay and he was still hungry. I got the burger with aioli, it was pretty good. Asked for ranch and it was twenty minutes later even though waitress passed by us many times. Fries were cold by then. Overall with the two nights we decided that we won't be back to eat here. Maybe when we come back to stay may do a live music night and only have some drinks. Overall it's over priced for what you receive. Service and food quality isn't what it was before and inflated prices.

    Over priced. Inconsistent portions, the more expensive dishes had much less food. Server never came to see if our food was ok until we were completely finished. I ate my overcooked elk tenderloin because it was still edible, but would have sent it back if our server had bothered to appear. Took 15 minutes for our server to bring the check once we asked for it. Eat at the bar, the food is better and the pricing is fair.

    Occasion - ski vacation. The service and atmosphere were very nice. One dinner (salmon) was delicious; the other dinner (trout) was not parmesan encrusted as described on the menu, and brussels sprouts/fingerling potatoes were undercooked (inedible).

    The waitress was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and made very good suggestions. We had a leisurely dinner and did not feel rushed. She was attentive but not overly so. We had two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts plus wine. Everything was delicious and the presentation superb.

    Drinks, bread service, atmosphere, and overall service were great! Main course was not so great. Beef short ribs were not tender and had a lot of fat. The ribeye was ok, not very flavorful which is usually accomplished with salt and pepper. We live here and probably won’t return except for light fare in the bar area. Oh, not to end on a bad note, their huckleberry mud pie is amazing!

    We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and we always choose The Boat Club for such events because we have always been very pleased there. This visit was no exception. The seats were comfortable, the meats were perfectly cooked, and we enjoyed a complimentary dessert. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

    Great service and ambience, but mediocre food. None of the dishes was seasoned correctly. The cauliflower soup and beet salad were both too salty. The pork shank and butternut squash were too sweet.

    We had a reservation but had to wait 20 min before we got a table. There were open tables, but they needed cleared. We finally got a table and service was slow getting us glasses for the Bloody Mary & mimosa bar. We finally ordered food. We had been waiting 15-20 min for our food when the server told us the kitchen had just now shared they were out of one of our meals, so we placed a new order. A couple minutes later, food came out for the rest of our table. One of the dishes had cheese when “no dairy” was specifically ordered. Our server didn’t really check on us, so we had to wave our server down multiple times throughout the meal. It took us a while before we could share the issue and order new glasses from the Bloody Mary & mimosa bar. We finally received our meals for two of us. The other person was already done eating as all they ordered was a bowl of soup. Food was good, but service sucked. We won’t be back.

    We arrived shortly after noon for the New Year’s brunch. Very overpriced priced. Bloody Mary with low inventory of add-ons. We had to ask for my husband pancakes after he had already finished his omelette. They arrived cold and very late.

    The waitress seemed to have just disappeared after we got our main course. Had to ask another waitress on 2 occasions to have our water refilled. Never asked how our food was or if I wanted another glass of wine. Had to ask another waitress for a dessert menu. After lack of service decided to forgo the dessert altogether. Very disappointed!! To top it off when we got bill I was charged for a different more expensive wine than what I ordered. My husband adjusted the bill himself. He left the waitress a tip even though she lacked in service. It was New Year’s Eve after all.

    Our server was pretty checked out and came by on occasion. Water was never topped up and she brought a couple wrong dishes. I get that it’s a high season for the staff (late December) but our group was joking around, try to think of the last time we’ve had service this bad… maybe never? The food was not that great, especially considering the price. If this food was served at a pub, I think it would be passable. The French onion soup I had was the worst I’ve ever had. It had a massive glob of room temperature cheese over stale bread and room temp +1 onions. There was barely any liquid so it was uniquely bad in a few ways. The other dishes were okay. Edible, nothing great, hilariously bad considering the prices. They charge Michelin star prices for sub par pub food - that’s about a good of a description as I can offer. Don’t go here. There are many, many great places in Whitefish.

    We were greeted with a warm welcome and seated quickly. Our waitress Jean was not friendly nor attentive. Our drinks were exquisite and the food was okay. We come here because we love the atmosphere but probably won’t be back because the poor service soured the experience.
