Great experience at this Restaurant food was amazing! Top notch staff.
Best service I have had at a resturant. Jordan was our waiter and he showed the up most professionalism and dedication. Highly recommend The Boat Club Restaurant.
Two of us ordered the Pork Chop and it was over cooked. Service was slow. Took a while to get our drinks. We ordered appetizers and dinner. Our appetizers came out the same time our entrées did. Overall not a great experience.
Love the lake view and live music Friday. I would skip the steak Oscar and go for the ribeye. The French onion soup was fantastic.
Enjoyed two meals at The Boat Club while in Whitefish. Dinner was terrific, great steaks, topped off with superb Huckleberry Mud Pie for dessert!
Brunch was also fantastic with the Montana Omelette and Huckleberry pancakes as favorites.
Service was excellent both meals. Gorgeous views all around.
It was our One Year Wedding Anniversary and we had the most outstanding time. The views were unbelievable, the beauty blew our minds. Our experience here created memories for a lifetime! Highly recommend. Note- we had a lake side table, after sunset. In hind sight we would’ve planned much further in advance and gotten that table in the day light or sunset. If you can be on the patio during a sunset, you’re incredibly lucky. It was incredible. Don’t miss this experience yourself!
Phenomenal meal. Ate outside on the deck while watching a beautiful sunset.
Perfect date night option- easily the most creative dishes we’ve thus far in Whitefish.
We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening. Disappointed that our table was on the lake but rather the side of the deck. Other than that our service was wonderful as well as our food
This is a 2 star restaurant in a 4 star setting.
The filet is undersized (the size of a thick burger) and overpriced. Not even close to the level of a true high end steak place.
Food and service was great! Greeted with champagne as we came in. Drink prices were a little outrageous. 14 dollars for a Moscow mule.. other then that it was a great experience for our anniversary
We spent $200 for a less than mediocre meal. The sea bass was rubbery and barely edible. Not sure what accompanied the fish, but it was decidedly unappealing and unappetizing. Prime filet was full of connective tissue making it difficult to chew. On the upside, the whitefish cakes were decent as were the cocktails. Dined here on vacation and will likely return to area but not to this restaurant. Save your time and money for far better dining options in the area.
The Boat Club was overall wonderful! My husband and I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner while we were visiting the area. We had been camping for a couple days and were pleasantly surprised at how casual everything was here, while still being an upscale place with great food and drinks! It was a BIT loud and we had to almost yell to hear each other but that was just because of how many people were there. Our server was great and attentive as well. I had the filet mignon and he had the elk tenderloin and we were blown away at how good they both were! The only negatives were that we couldn't get a reservation before 8:45pm so we couldn't see outside and it was a little louder than we would've liked. Again, both just because of the popularity which is a good thing :)
Elk entree was cold ( potato purée, mushrooms, elk) so we sent it back and it came back cold gain. For $42 an entree someone should know how to cook food to to temp.
Very disappointed. Only reservations available were 5:30 & 8:30 so took the later one. Arrived at 7:30 and half the tables were open. Very rushed service. Steaks arrived after 2 bites of salad. Needless to say, they (and the sides) were cold by the time salads finished. Everything was taken back to be warmed but all returned room temperature. Steak quality was just ok. One was ordered med well but was med rare at best - even after it was pointed out to the waitress and returned to the table. And finally, the sides were very small portioned and poor quality.
Food was overpriced and terrible. Service wasn’t great either.
Great food, great ambiance. Service was incredibly slow. Not sure if it was our waiter or not, but for what we paid, I think its fair to say anyone would expect more (service wise). Nonetheless, I’d be willing to give them another try
The place has got a potential, but is poorly managed and short staffed - in a desperate need of a new chef. Price point doesn’t match quality of ingredients and dish presentation. Trout and halibut were dry, overcooked. Wine was mediocre. Antipasto was unacceptable - reheated in a microwave. The waiter took the antipasto off the check, which I appreciated but that didn’t help with the low quality of food served in the restaurant. Carpet under the table hasn’t been vacuumed for ages - lots of pieces of food which fell on the floor and no one bothered to clean them up. Amazing views from the window table and nice ambience.
Celebrating my Birthday at the Boat club was a wonderful evening. My request of window seating to remembering my day was special. The Elk tenderloin dinner and my husband's fillet were delicious.I'm so happy I chose the Boat Club at Whitefish lodge!
Get reservations early. Food is awesome. Somewhat pricey, but worth it!
Service was above average. Overall...wonderful!
Visiting Whitefish and made a reservation at this top rated restaurant. The meal exceeded expectations (Salmon, Stuffed Trout) and was the best meal we have had in the entire vacation.
Food was extremely average and disappointing. Service was poor. We had a reservation for a lakeside window table that had been made months in advance and were seated at a small cramped table near the rear of the dining room. All around a big disappointment and incredibly expensive for average food and poor service.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great.
We had a lovely lingering dinner celebrating my moms 75th birthday. Our server Colin was attentive without making us feel rushed. He gave great suggestions and made our experience wonderful. The food was all delicious and the drinks strong!
Food and drinks were delicious. Waitress was very helpful, informative. Restaurant was clean. Convenient; however, reservations are very highly recommended.
Food was not good at all. Totally overpriced
Great setting overlooking the water. Excellent food quality and the staff The staff was very attentive. Great choice if visiting the Whitefish area!
Nice wine list. Good service. Great view of the lake. Everything we ordered was very good.
We had the filet mignon and thought it was great! The sides were also very good. Also had great specialty drinks! Ambiance and view of the lake is very nice!
Such an amazing evening, would return over and over. Thank you Boat House!
This restaurant is fantastic. The facility is gorgeous. The food was great. The menu was diverse! The view is the best in Whitefish!!!
The steaks were fabulous!
Had a 730 pm reservation, seated about 8pm waiting for table to be cleaned. Server was very nice, though service was slow. I think like everywhere else, they are short staffed. Food was good, pricey, small portions.
The meal was a tad overpriced for the meal received. The portion (trout) could have been larger. I was surprised no bread was offered.
Absolutely stunning. Service was second to none. Highly, highly recommend. Jean was amazing!!!
Food was terrible, you need a new chef. Ahi tuna was tasteless, pork chops tough and chewy. Trout was okay at beat. Big disappointment for big price. Do not waste your money.
Absolutely wonderful experience- food and service
Great place to eat. Service was very good, and the food was outstanding! Beautiful sunset, made for good pictures.
Beautiful views and restaurant. Seated right at window with glaring sun (shade was down) but super warm - very little AC. Two of the three of us ordered Prime Rib Medium Rare, we got two rib eye steaks - one was literally almost raw. Halibut was not well flavored. Maria the server (her first day) was truly wonderful and doing her best.
