Excellent service and the food was amazing.
Food was amazing and the service was perfect
One of our favorites when in town
THIS is a must try spot when visiting Hilton Head Island! The service was great, the food was off the chain, and the drinks were super refreshing. I can rant and rave about this place, but you have to find out for yourself! I will definitely be back!
The special of veal chop was extremely fatty. Bottled Bleu cheese olives in my martini. Great bartenders ALWAYS make their own.
We were very well taken care of by our waiter. We did not feel rushed and the food was exceptional
Great food, great service, and well worth the $. If you have the opportunity you should visit. Date night, anniversary, and more.
Had eaten here before and loved it - this time - attentive service was lacking by main server, food was not prepared correctly and lacked flavor and our main server actually explained our steaks had been sliced in half from a whole piece when we questioned the varying look of our 4 individual ribeyes. Made us feel we were not getting quality food and certainly not for the price. Very disappointing!
One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The Ceasar Salad is not to be missed. We had the steak for two and it was tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend if you are looking for a special dinner!
I went on a Tuesday night so there would be no rush. I was pleasantly surprised at the food, staff and overall feel of the restaurant. I had heard good and bad from many who have gone there. I may have skewed the curve by going on a weeknight. I will return in the fall on a weekend to see if they keep up the good work. Meal was very good. Foie Gras cooked perfectly, the duck crispy and the Joan Collins cocktail superb. Wait staff attentative without being pushy. We will return and see if the grade stays the same.
Great food with wonderful menu with some unique choices.....loved the ambiance, and the service was top shelf. A little loud because of the room design, but an excellent dinner choice.
Came to celebrate an anniversary, we had a nice table and offered a complimentary glass of champagne. It was first night they were offering the summer supper menu on Thursday night where you get an appetizer , main course and a dessert for $38. This was a great deal with nice size portions , we are locals and this would be nice to continue after August.
My friend and I had a great time for her special Birthday Dinner! Kenny was great and the service from reservation to the end of the meal was excellent!
We celebrated our anniversary here and had a very good meal. It’s a very reliable restaurant and has been a great addition to the local food scene. Can be quite busy - make sure to get a reservation.
Special advice: try the Dover sole for two.
Food was good along with the service, but that is all I can say about the evening that is positive. For what they charge for a meal, the atmosphere is anything but cozy or intimate. This was a gift certificate from our daughter. We will never go back. Overpriced and overrated. The Red Fish hands down has a better atmosphere and pricing along with great service and food. Thank goodness the service was good along with decent food otherwise I would have given it a one or two. All it is, is one large room with a huge bar. How they ever rated this intimate dining is beyond what I saw. We asked for a booth against the wall as far from the bar as possible, but was told they were reserved, only 2 were ever filled the whole time we were there.
We wanted a special restaurant for our 20th anniversary, and the Bluffton Room definitely delivered! Excellent service, delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere all contributed to a wonderful evening. Thank you, Bluffton Room team!
Our favorite spot for special occasions with great food and superior service!
Excellent service, food and ambiance. Will return!
10 yr anniversary celebration. Made reservation on Open Table and went back and added special food request. Wasn't sure if they actually see the food request part as no acknowledgement is given. Arrived on time and was seated quickly at 7p - restaurant bar was full, but the tables were less than 1/2 full, but others did show up while we were there. Service was impeccable. Once seated I asked if they had received the special request for my meal on Open Table and server said yes, that the chef is working on something special and that I will be delighted. The menu is more geared for carnivores, of which I am not at all. I am not a vegetarian per se, but I prefer meatless dishes and not just have salad or soups as my only choices. So making the reservation left me a tad weary after looking at the online menu, but in the end - I should have left those worries behind as the chef took great care to meet my request. We were offered two glasses of Prosecco on the house for our anniversary, which was a very nice gesture and it was very tasty. The red wines my boyfriend consumed throughout the evening, were also very nice. My boyfriend ordered the grilled Spanish octopus and I had the grilled artichokes for appetizers - both were delicious. His entree was the 21 oz bone in ribeye - which was perfectly prepared along with the fries and Madiera mushrooms (mushrooms were exquisite). Very expensive at $50 for a steak, but it was a special occasion dinner so he splurged and loved it. The chef delighted me with a pasta dish with a plethora of mixed mushrooms and light sauce. I couldn't have been more pleased with my special request dish. Even the leftovers the next day and adding the Madiera mushrooms to it just made me want more and more - it was soooo good. We shared a chocolate chess pie which was a perfect ending to our dining. Great staff, food and dining experience and thank you to all that made our anniversary a very special occasion. We will visit again.
We have been going to The Bluffton room since they first opened. Initially this place was great and worth the premium prices. The last year or two it has steadily declined so we stopped going as much. Decided to give it another try and was again disappointed overall. The food and service is decent, but in relationship to the prices...not good at all. You pay Michelin 3 star prices and get just good in return.
If you want to go, sit at the bar and have a burger for $30. It’s okay. If you want to have a nice meal and bottle of wine...it will be $150+ per person and worth less than half that.
Terrible. Don’t go. 4 of us got sick as we were leaving restaurant. Poor quality meat. Terrible service. Had to waive down server when we needed anything.
The service was excellent. The food was also excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Restaurant is small and quaint. This is not the first time I have eaten here and the last time was about 7 months ago. My last experience was excellent. This time -it was as if I had eaten at two different restaurants. Food quality was marginal. Tuna was not fresh and the side table Caesar was flavorless. Entree of the lamb was beautifully presented but the chop was a bad cut. The service was nice but after a while, you really just do not want to bother with complaining. Ideally, you just want to leave. There are to many choices for the money.
Always delicious! Friendly staff, excellent wine choices and comfy booths!
My wife and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary here this week and, from the minute we walked in the door, we were welcomed with anniversary well wishes by almost the entire staff. To celebrate our anniversary, the restaurant also provided us two glasses of complimentary champagne which was a nice touch.
The staff was very friendly and worked well together. We dealt with, not only the waitress, but also the manager, servers, bartender, etc. Each was very friendly and welcoming.
The food was very delicious as well. We started the evening with the foie gras -- which was excellent. For dinner, we each had the bone-in ribeye (some of the best steaks that we've had in quite some time). The prices may seem high, but the steaks are delicious. We also ordered two sharing sides (root vegetables with beef and brussel sprouts with bacon) which were equally delicious.
We could not leave without trying the dessert. We decided on the bananas foster flambe'. It is prepared table-side (by the bartender that evening) and was wonderfully done.
We are already planning our next trip.
Love the Friday Cajun lunch menu. Great standard items on the menu plus always great specials. Only wished I like Gin. $.25 martinis would be a good addition to my meal.
Our meals were excellent although the time from ordering to serving was long. The evening was enjoyable until the bill arrived which included a notable overcharge reportedly due to their system. It was quickly corrected but the experience left me wondering who else has been overcharged for the salmon??
Good but never received my points from Open Table.
Steak was over cooked and had to be sent back. Service was inattentive. Valet parking was unattended.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary. It was our first time at the restaurant. The food was amazing as was the service. Will definitely return!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Very nice evening.
Wonderful food and service. Well worth the $$. 😊
Outstanding as always! The food, ambience, and service combine to make this one of our favorite restaurants.
Good as usual- an especially good venue to entertain out-of-town guests!
Our first dining experience, will dine again when we return to the area. Tanya was fabulous!
Everything was excellent except the noise level. The experience was great!
We love the Bluffton room. Service and food are consistently great. If you are staying in Bluffton, no need to go on the island for a great dining experience.
Love the Dover Sole. The service was great. The brownie with gelato is fabulous.
Moving to the Bluffton area from Charleston we expected the fine dining choices to be limited. We were very happily surprised to find Bluffton's wonderful offering, The Bluffton Room. The room, the service and the food could not be faulted, it was a lovely experience, we can't wait to return soon and often.
The Bluffton Room was another great choice. Makes 2 new great ones in 2 nights!!
The food was wonderful. You have to try their special Manhattan if you like them. It is special and not as strong as many.
The ribeye was cooked to perfection as was my wife’s Grouper.
The pace of the night was very nice as it took us 2 hours to eat and enjoy ourselves even without dessert.
Bluffton Room is well worth the visit. You won’t be disappointed.
