The Blues Kitchen - Camden
Amazing burger and chips! Service is great too
The food was great and the service was excellent. We hung around after to listen to the live music and the band was good.
We had booked a table for 3pm but this was given away even though we were at the restaurant at 3pm. We then had to wait an hour for our table to only have 2 meals out of the group get their order completely wrong and actually completely forgot one. The overall food was very nice but really noisy and waiter was slightly rude when stating he had got the orders wrong.
We had a great time.Service was great. Only one thing we all said you could do with a bit more options on the Brunch menu not just burgers But it was nice.
Fun venue, friendly staff and good food. Will visit again.
We’ve been wanting to go to the Blues Kitchen in Camden for ages, and we’re glad we persisted! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and we had a really good time. The food was pretty good, although I did feel that without the locals discount, it would have been a bit pricey for what we received. That said, we had such a good time, we will keep coming back, perhaps for a bit of a treat every now and then!
all perfect, but when hosting live events, bring an extra speaker to the front.....
Flipping delicious food, awesome interiors, lovely staff, sweet atmosphere
Lovely music , friendly staff and great food . I had friends who visited the venue for the first time and were amazed with the ambience .
Me and my partner went here for the first time and we ordered a little bit too much! The veggie platter was more than enough - I definitely recommend it :)
Fabulous meal. Wonderful service ,great atmosphere. Roll on next weekend.
On arriving at Blues Kitchen Camden we were told there were no tables for 2 available and the waiting list was so long that they weren’t accepting bookings. Completely unhelpful.
With a voucher that needed spending we decided to eat elsewhere and return for drinks later. Looking online the website showed an available spot at 3.30 however, which we booked and and had confirmed by email. Returning to the restaurant we were
told by the same staff member that the online system had overbooked the restaurant and there were no tables. We could see our reservation for 3.30 on her tablet display screen. She left to get the manager, and upon returning reset the tablet with no explanation. The manager made out to be accommodating, and sat us at the barrel table by the stage.
From there everything was fine.
The drinks were nice, I’d come specially for the bourbon selection, the food was tasty. We were able to use up our voucher. It was a shame everything was marred by the strange behaviour of the staff. At the end of the meal we received an email asking why we had not shown up for our booking.
Wouldn’t really want to return, and wouldn’t reccomend the camden branch.
Food wasn’t amazing but it was good and the service made up for it. We had the bottomless brunch and we defo got out monies worth.
Food and service was good. But I felt that the service was rushed, for them to turn tables. We got the invoice without even asking for it.
We were 2. Ordered 2 appetisers & 2 main course & had a couple of drinks each.
The invoice came when I was still in the middle of my second drink.
The place was also over crowded, so people standing all around us while having our dinner.....
Wing & Tings, banging
Thank you very much
And good music
Superb cocktails, delicious food, great vibe, and an amazing live band! What else do you need? Probably my favorite place in London!
Whilst the staff were very attentive and helpful the food was very disappointing. I ordered a chicken thigh sandwich with a side salad; the chicken was very greasy and I actually got a really bad stomach ache. The dressing on the salad was awful however I expressed this to our waitress and she bought us another one.
Went for my mums birthday, her first time. She thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent.
Great location with a varied menu and reasonably priced
Amazing staff, couldn’t do enough for you with genuine care. Very engaging. Incredible food, fast service. Great quality. Can not wait to come back!
Possibly the best bbq in the UK and outstanding wings. Great service and fabulous music
Everything is great about this place. Food, cocktails, staff, and vibe, It’s always amazing!
Never disappoints. Great service, food, value for money - but most important of all - amazing musicians and jam sessions!
Tommy our waiter was AMAZING want him to be my friend! Also they keep the drinks flowing and the pancakes were delicious
We enjoyed our meal and the fun atmosphere, but were disappointed that the live music was not soul and funk as advertised.
Food was amazing and the staff were all really helpful and friendly - there was no ask too big. Will definitely be back!
We had to wait about 30 minutes for our pre booked table but other than that everything was nice
Food was good, waiter was nice. It was so loud, however, that maintaining a conversation was hard. And this was at 2 in the afternoon, so perhaps unecessarily loud? At one point even the waiter had problems hearing what we were ordering because of the noise levels. This, however, is the only thing to complain about.
We had a fantastic night here. That’s because the music was great, the food was exactly what you wanted in an American diner of this type, but most importantly because the service was amazing. That’s not what you expect in a chain nor in a loud bar, but the two waitresses who helped us were way beyond our expectations in the Way they both served us and helped us for example keep table longer than arranged, even wiping off the cost of our dessert because it took a long time to be served.
Great atmosphere, not a place for a quiet dinner but fantastic for live music, good food and excellent service!
Great food. Very good service. Friendly staff and affordable. A great place to eat in Camden. Highly recommend.
Would recommend for the food but WAY too noisy on a Saturday night so could not really have a conversation. Would be better to have a bit more separation from the the drinking crowd when eating.
The service was excellent; attentive throughout and excellent reccomendations. A large group (8) in a booth meant it was difficult to be a fully interactive. I’d say for groups up to 6, the set-up is perfect, any larger, make sure you’re sat next to someone talkative!
On attending we were shown to our table and handed the menus, the member of staff then left the restaurant as she walked past with her coat on. After 15 minutes we managed to catch the eye of another waitress who came over and took our order, nothing was written down. We received our starters. When we had finished the starters a waiter then took our plates and asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, we assumed their had been a breakdown of communication as this was a different person and that our mains would follow. After about 30 minutes we called the waiter and advised we were waiting for our mains. He then went to the pass and discussed the issue with another waitress who then came over, apologised and our mains arrived 10 minutes later.
I can only assume due to the changing staff the order got lost.
The food was ok, the mains however were not what was expected, very small portions considering the cost.
Sorry to criticise but some improvements or system changes are required. It was also very difficult to identify the staff as they were dressed the same as mist patrons.
Hope this helps
They were pushing us all the table to leave the table as soon as possible and that was so annoying...
Brilliant, relaxed atmosphere! Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Great service too!
Great place! Would definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The food was delicious and we enjoyed ourselfs a lot. The service was great and polite. The waiter was even singing for my girlfriends birthday, wich was a fun moment. Could defenitly recommand everybody to stop by the blues kitchen!
