Happy Easter! Join us for a wonderful Easter celebration at the Blue Pig Tavern!

This place is just ok. Neither of us finished our breakfast. Bog portions, but, not phenomenol taste. Had to ask for drink refills.
We always eat at the Blue Pig when in Cape May. We ate there three nights in a row this time as we were staying at Congress Hall. Fantastic every time.
Historic holiday cheer-
Buzz and beauty in a bar combined with relaxed atmosphere, warmth
and great food.
Always a pleasant experience and a great meal. A definite favorite
Shawn was an efficient and friendly server.
Everything was okay. We had an issue with one of our meals and it was rectified. It however, changed the mood for the evening. They were extremely busy due to a holiday event that we were not aware of, that was not the restaurants fault.
We were very disappointed to be seated in a dull, sparse back room - not what I anticipated when I made reservations to have a holiday dinner with friends. I should have been informed that we were not actually going to be in the restaurant
At first we arrived late for our 2:45 appointment .
This was due to a complete lack of parking in cape May , after a few minutes but of negotiating we were seating - thank you so much . All of the restaurants in Cape May were closed between 3 and 5 .
All of the festivities in cape May began at 5 so we really wanted to eat before attending .
Thank you for a wonderful birthday lunch .
Christmas at Congress Hall is always special . Having a mother’s daughter trip and it was perfect .
The Blue Pig, in hotspot Congress Hall, does a great job with its farm-to-fork menu -- we've done lunch and breakfast/brunch and have never been disappointed. The venue, both outdoor and indoor, is fun and cozy.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was very good as was the service. We will definitely return to the restaurant.
Nothing special here for a restaurant in the nicest hotel in town.
Great ambiance and terrific service. Kim was great......quick, attentive, and conversational while professional. Food was great. We'll be back !!
This is our second or third time dining at the Blue Pig Tavern. You can always be guaranteed a tasty and plentiful meal. The restaurant also prides itself by supporting the local vegetable and livestock farmers. My only complaint is that after being seated, we waited much too long for our waitress to even acknowledge us.
Always enjoy the Blue Pig! Good food and ambiance for a casual dinner!
Great atmosphere in bar good service. Very accommodating. Dinner was spectacular!
My wife and I really enjoyed everything. The food was delicious, our servers were very understanding that my wife had to leave to take an important call(offered to keep her food warm and they didn't just forget about us). We will definitely be back.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Food was good, but service was very slow. Requested main dining room, but was seated in a back room with no ambience.
We were at the Blue Pig for our Thanksgiving meal. We had a reservation and seating was timely. Had a handcrafted cocktail before dinner, a Congressional Cosmo, and it was excellent. Wait staff were very accommodating and the traditional Thanksgiving meal had plenty of white and dark meat turkey with good stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and fresh string beans. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have pecan pie for dessert, but the maple cheesecake was a very good replacement. We have eaten at the Blue Pig for Thanksgiving for several years now and we find it excellent and have never been disappointed.
We had a nice Thanksgiving Dinner at Blue Pig. Service was slow because it was a Holiday and at full capacity.
Thanksgiving Dinner was really good. Our server Lili was terrific. We'll definitely return to your restaurant and book again next Thanksgiving!
Great restaurant. The food, service and ambiance was great. Will definitely go again when back in Cape May.
Always enjoy the service and food at the Blue Pig. The Duck Duet was excellent! Would like an adult only section for dinner. Good value and not crowded.
Very nice. Two negatives. We were seated right next to a service station and the hinge on the outside door caused it to slam every time someone closed it.
Breakfast this morning and spec was California Benedict! Excellent!
Julie our server was fun, energetic and efficient! Excellent service !!
Hostess sat us immediately! Wonderful!
Fruit bowl was delish! Nice and sweet! Grits were very nice and served excelled!
Only con would be those old rickety ice cream pallor chairs on the porch ! And set with the deuces in the dining room! Time for a change! Not comfortable and even scary!
Flossie our wait person is always personable and outstanding! We are always delighted to have her take care of us! We love the Blue Pig!❤️❤️👍👍
I have dined at BP several times and this time was disappointed in the special entrees . From a price point they were very overpriced. My scallops were very good but if all you are serving is 3 scallops the cost should never be over 35.00. 4-5 scallops is reasonable or lower the price. My partner had the ribbeye and was not cooked hot enough and not much flavor. Maybe lunch is a better option
I came to the Blue Pig for the first time over the summer and loved it. Came back with my husband while on our mini honeymoon, and it was just as good! I never get the same meal twice, but their roasted half-chicken is so amazing, I had to get it a second time! Salad, both meals and dessert were all awesome and our waitress was super sweet! They also have a great selection of beer, wine & cocktails! My only complaint is that it was packed, and we were put in a corner in VERY tight quarters. It was a little uncomfortable, but otherwise, a very enjoyable experience!
This was a pre wedding breakfast with friends. The farm to table menu is excellent. We had the breakfast sandwiches, healthy start and eggs and bacon. The cappuccino was excellent. It was available also in decaf. The service was good but we waited a bit for the check. They need to have a little more staff on board for a Saturday morning
We will definitely be back
Excellent service. Food was good for a tavern, better than most, but still not haut cuisine.
Another great meal at the Blue Pig. Off season is the best time to go.
Had a nice lunch at The Blue Pig. The food (especially the clam chowder) was excellent, as was the service. Despite the historic décor and feel, the place could use a freshening up.
Have been going here since they opened. Food is always delicious, but service is mixed. We had to ask several times for water refills, and waited over an hour for brunch. We arrived at 11:30 and were not served until 1pm. It wasn't even that busy...
When the food arrived, a side of pumpkin pancakes we ordered we ice cold. We asked for fresh ones... 15 minutes later they were delivered but we were done with most of the rest of our food. A bit disappointing given the cost, and how beautiful the ambiance is here. They need better management!
Nice and very friendly staff but Very pricey considering what you get. $18 for a small cheeseburger is crazy.Avoid the fried Calamari at all costs it was tghe worst I ever had.
Good breakfast fresh eggs. $50 for two. Waitress scoffed at my need for gluten free. Not sure I would come back but it served our need.
We had the strip steak special and the scallops which were both very good. Prepared just right!
Great experience. Had a reservation and did not get seated until 30 minutes later. My only complaint as all else was wonderful.
Love the BP. The food and service is consistently very good. We were seated on time which is another reason we return every year. The crab cakes were excellent (MUCH better than the crab cakes at the Ebbitt Room). Overall we ate at the BP 3 times over the week: dinner, lunch and breakfast and all were fantastic. The fried haddock is always the best. The breakfast was also very good, the croissant sandwich is enough for two portions, it was great as a left over the next day. The breakfast menu has great selections. Will be returning!
Table way too small
My wife and I have eaten at the Blue Pig Tavern several times over the years and have never been disappointed. Nestled within Congress Hall, the Blue Pig is a great place to have dinner, whether you're staying at the hotel or not. They have a great selection of dishes to fit everyone's palate. And they also have an awesome breakfast as well!
