Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. Today, we offer timeless classics and new seasonal delights with ingredients that are always farm-fresh.

    Wonderful, historic hotel with multiple restaurants and bars. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy was very good. Little expensive as expected.

    Tile fish special and chicken entrees were just ok with the fish a little fishy tasting and the brown sauce was a little off putting paired with the chicken. Crab cake entree was very good. Fish and chips and seasonal romaine salad, which were easily shareable, were delicious. Bread basket was also delicious. Attentive server.

    Much improved food. We are long time diners and this season the food has taken a jump forward. Shame there were some very noisy neighbors on the table next to us.
