Always love this restaurant when we come to Exit Zero Jazzfest.
please don't take the eggs blackstone off the menu (we heard it was going to be). it is the best brunch dish on the menu. Grits were a little bland this time (have had in the past and they were better)
It is always a great experience at the Blue Pig Tavern. A favorite if ours. Vthis trip we had 6vif us for brunch on the Sunday during Exit 0 Jazz Fest so we were thrilled we could reserve a table and they were really able to keep up with the high volume if people in town that weekend. The special brunch menu was outstanding as we're the bloody mary's.
If I ever find myself in Cape May again, I most definitely will visit for round two! Great food, service and unbeatable location..
The grilled salmon with spinach and roasted vegetables was done perfectly and was delicious
I had the cod and potato cake special. It was so bland even tarter sauce didn't help! The pasta needed more flavor and more sauce. Scallops were better. Good service though.
the Turkey burger was excellent!! My house drink bourbon (Makers Mark) cherry sour was A+. My only complaint is that the drink was so good and easy to drink that I had two, which for someone who had not had a drink in a few months caused a headache - small price to pay for a wonderful dinner!
The Blue Pig is a special spot for a quiet and enjoyable dinner and drinks.
Great atmosphere inside the Congress hall. The food was well presented and very good. Also the bar right off the restaurant a very nice plus
Everything was perfect our server was delightful and the food and drinks were excellent
First time there. Really enjoyed it. Taking the whole family.
Meatloaf was good. Burger tasted like low quality beef (coulda made it at home) Oysters were good. Service was fine.
Always a great experience when we go and food is awesome
Easter Brunch was terrific - great food and fun activities for children.
We checked in but didn’t get our open table points
They hit on all cylinders tonight, food, service. Everything was so good.
Hands down this is our favorite place in Cape May. The food is always great, no matter what time of the day we go. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff from the hostess, "Kit" who always is so plesant upon your arrival until your departure, to the servers, Alyssa and Julie who are always on point with there customers. Today we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Joey who we know is responsible for cooking up all those great dishes. I'm sure if he is leading your cooks, there is no room for disappointments, as we are always pleased. Shout out to your employees they are truly amazing and an asset to your establishment. Just so you know, It is an hour drive from where we live to your establishment, we can honestly tell you it's well worth it. Thank-you and keep up the good work.
We had a wonderful dinner at The Blue Pig tavern.
We read in a local magazine that the bartender was an expert at crafting some notable cocktails. We found out that that was correct.
The Bees Knees is an historic gin-based drink, and the Honey Bee is a tequila special that was excellent. Right here you should know that the service was gracious, knowledgeable and comfortable all night.
We sampled appetizers, salads and some seafood entrees, and everything was very good. We hardly had room for dessert, but shared their famous apple pie dessert, and it was really worth it.
You can't go wrong here.
The staff makes your dining experience even better. Attentive, hospitable. And, of course, the food is delicious! Fresh, well thought out menu.
Food and service were great !!!
I had the scallops and my husband had fish and chips.
Cranberry cobbler was fantastic!!!
Birthday lunch for 2
My only complaint is the dining room was dark. Doesn’t work for me.
We had an excellent dinner on Friday and equally delicious brunch on Sunday! The Lavender cocktail is amazing! Very good quality food in a lovely, warm, cozy setting.
Amazing food, especially the clam chowder
The food is always good but was exceptional this time!
Nice meal, lively atmosphere!! A very nice evening!!
Great meal great place for a relaxing drink after dinner
Had a great nite out. Food was amazing! Well worth the trip. Waiter was very attentive..love this place.
Disappointed in service, ambience and food. Expected much better.
Enjoyed our dinner. Dessert wasn’t very good.
We loved our server, Lili! She did a great job, ambience was superb as was the food!
Loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was great and so was our breakfast.
10 ladies joined up for a Sunday brunch after a nice weekend, and we really enjoyed our experience. The blue pig has a really great, unique atmosphere. The food was delicious. I recommend the stuffed French toast! The service was also good. After our meal, it was an easy few steps to all of the shops of downtown Cape May, which is super convenient. Overall a must if you’re going to Cape May.
Blue pig is always a wonderful time. Food, service, everything is fantastic. Been going here for years and they never let me down. Love it! And my kids and their spouses prefer it above all other places in cm
Breakfast was fantastic.. loved that they offer a healthy choice with fresh fruit and whole wheat muffin with eggs! Highly recommend!!
Never a disappointment. Had breakfast and dinner there and they were equally delicious. A family friendly farm to table restaurant. Conveniently located in Congress Hall and adjacent to the Brown Room.
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. We will certainly go back!
The food and service were very good. The overall experience was diminished because the hostess seated us in a section of the restaurant already filled with diners. There seemed to be open seating in another area. Given the close proximity of the other tables, it seemed like we were sharing our dinner with the other diners.
My husband I went on a cold weekday night and sat by the wood fireplace. Our server was great. We had a bottle of wine and I had the crab cakes and my husband had the steak and cake. He said his steak was done to his liking and very good.
One criticism I have is the crab cakes had a lot of filing and were fried. In a shore community I think they could do better. I order Crab cakes everywhere and with just some good crab and seasoning and broiled they could be outstanding.
Hard chairs with no cushions.
The dining area was not busy at 8:00 pm , don't understand why they put 3 dining parties right next to each other.
