Love this place they never dissatisfied
Great sushi. Rainforest and Mega Lobster rolls are must tries.
The menu is awesome. The food was amazing. Our server, Annika was fantastic. A perfect date destination.
Their ahi tuna tower is one of the things I miss about not living in Houston. So happy to see this lovation, as their downtown location can be tough to access (you have to park underground and hope you come up street level at thw right spot). Love this place for delicious sushi!!
Very elegant with a romantic setting! I took my fiancé there for anniversary and I was very impressed. Service was good, food was outstanding and really set the mood. I can't wait to go back !
This is a great place to eat sushi/sashimi. The service was excellent, the food variety and quality was great and overall we enjoyed the place very much. Not too noisy despite being pretty busy. Reservations are recommended.
Blue Fish is always good, but even great with kids! We brought our three boys under 6 and they made us feel SO welcome! I cannot recommend them highly enough for families, which isn't always the case when mom and dad have a sushi craving!
Good happy hour; poor service the last few times; downtown location better
Very loud but atmosphere was good. Food was delicious as always.
Totally recommend the Ahi Tower, you don't need anything else...
Rolls seemed like they had been made earlier. Didn't seem fresh....a little mushy. The tempura app was good.
Pretty good. Server seemed a bit scatter brained. Prices are definitely better at other sushi restaurants that are just as good.
Sushi was delicious, so much to choose from on the menu. Service was great, both the waiter and management were available to answer questions. Very happy with service overall.
This chain and this restaurant in particular has really great food and professional servers. Happy hour is unmatched. Highly recommend.
Excellent as always. Happy Hour M-F, 5-7pm a very good value.
Horrible experience. Our waitress was mediocre. I was at Bluefish on a Friday evening with my family, celebrating passing of my Registered Dietitian state exam. At the end of our dining experience, the waitress approached our table in the midst of our table having great conversation and proceeded to inquire about her tip and expressed her dissatisfaction with the tip she received in front of the entire table. Never in my life have I ever witnessed behavior like this or have been apart of such embarrassing, unprofessional behavior at a restaurant like this. It was quite embarrassing on her part and on ours. I made sure to give her a piece of my mind as well as let the manager be aware of the unprofessional, horribly awkward situation that their mediocre waitress put us in. She runed such a pleasant night. I will never return here again.
Had a good time. We took our kids and they enjoyed it as well.
Meh! Very average sushi.. would not go back. There are much better sushi places in Houston. I have eaten there 3 times before that were better but this last time the food was not up to par.
Blue fish marked that I did not attend my reservation made through Open Table- which I did in fact attend tonight for dinner. Dinner was great, but we felt that the management was rushing us out and trying to flip our table before we were even finished and before they had even brought the bill. The ahi tower is one of my favorite dishes, and I tried two new rolls that were delicious. I have always loved blue fish- but tonight was a pain.
Delicious food and great service. We liked everything we tried. The food can out quickly. And the server was very knowledgeable
Love Blue Fish - the sushi is fresh and the rolls inventive. They are always accommodating, even when I mess up and show up 2 hours prior to my reservation!
I had only been for take out. The food was fresh and I liked the many options they had for rolls. A favorite of mine is their version of the spring rolls. Love the mango addition and the dipping sauce.
N/A no thanks
Always a great dining experience at Blue Fish. Great food and excellent service from the Valet to the kitchen staff and everyone in between. Best Tuna tower in the U.S. bar none.
Came here for the first time for my 30th birthday and service was good, although my roll I ordered didn't get placed and I was the last one to eat they compensated us by buying a round of drinks and also a birthday dessert, the food was delicious and I will definitely be going back
I liked most rolls (dragon, hamachi), but 2 subpar dishes were the lava roll and octopus. The former tasted terrible.. deep fried batter on the outside with terrible tasting fish and jalopeno on the inside. The latter wasnt sweet at all and tasted like it wasn't prepared.. its texture wasn't as tender as other authentic sushi joints.
Great spot for big groups. They are extremely accommodating and have a very large selection of drinks and food!
It was for a New Years dinner, and it was great! Their happy hour is one of the best in Houston.
Food quality is always spot on! Best sushi in the area.
Our server was amazing! He really listened and gave good suggestions!
Great food, service pretty good. Crab cakes and sushi high quality
I loved it! The food was great, the service was great, everything was great!
The pinata roll has been the best roll I have ever had in my life! The food was great and service was on par.
Best sushi in town. Their mega lobster is exceptional. Clean clean clean!!!!!!
Seated promptly. Food was great. Drinks were good. Had a good time.
Everything was not good specially the steak was really really BAAAAAAAD was not fresh it looks like it was cocked 2 or 3 hours before .......... even the staff they are very slow and forget what the order was ..... don't waste your time & money.
Our waiter was very attentive and informative.
The only down side is this is a very kid friendly place. They even give away balloons- so if your looking to get away from the family and have an adult beverage with friends I would strongly suggest you sit in the bar area away from the children. The music in the bar area was almost to loud to enjoy a conversation, however the drinks are spot on!
Our waiter Richard exceeded our expectations. He was very attentive and informative. He made our visit pleasant to say the least. I would recommend this location to any and everyone. The food was so delicious.
This is always my favorite place to go the manager Joe is always on point coming to the table and making sure everything is good this will always be my go to sushi in Houston!!! Lobster Roll is amazing
