The Blind Rabbit - Jax Beach
It was loud, but the menu is a nice variety and the food is on point.
Burger was good but greasy... Fries are overly seasoned.... Way too much salt. Music is a little loud. Service was excellent.
Unlimited Mimosa Sunday Brunch - Super Lively crowd, delish offerings & fun, attentive servers! The bourbon bacon deviled eggs were my favorite!
Overall everything was really good. Beverages, food and service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Drinks took an inordinately long time (40 minutes first drink, 25 minutes second drink and they were only moderately busy) and all food for SIX diners was extremely salty. Have never had a bad experience there before but that was bad enough none of us will ever go again.
One of our favorite places for brunch and bottomless mimosas at the beach!
Billed as a “burger and whiskey bar” the Blind Rabbit is much more. Creative menu with great apps, salads, and entrees.
Fantastic service and great bar with most extensive list of bourbons and whiskeys from around the world.
Located a block from the beach
We had a great time. Tyler was awesome. We were a very demanding table of 15
Out to brunch to celebrate a birthday.
Group of about 14.
Also happened to be St. Patty’s Day.
Waaaaaaaay understaffed resulted in extraordinarily slow service.
Food was delicious, service was very good, but noise level was too loud, making it hard to hear unless you're right next to the person speaking. We had a table of 6 & the 2 on each end had difficulty hearing the people on the other end.
Food was delicious! Our server Kelly was very prompt and courteous. Unfortunately, the hostess really messed up. We had a reservation for 9. My party of 4 arrived and were sat at a long table in the back. The remaining party of 5 arrived and she sat them at the front of the restaurant and we both waited 30 minutes for each other to “arrive”. The last name on the reservation is not common and there were not that many large parties there at the time. Very discouraging.
Mediocre pub grub American Gastropub style. Service was terrible, with a long wait to get waited on, and the restaurant was not very busy.
Hamburgers came out dry and overcooked, the only positive of the meal was the potato chip appetizer.
Nothing special at this restaurant, you would be better off at a lame chain like Chili's or Applebees.
Nice place with good food and service. We had burgers to dinner entrees - all were excellent. Waiter was professional and attentive. If your in JAX Beach it’s a must try.
Waiter did great job kept Everthing straight for over 20 ppl always had what we needed! Big Tks!
My server, Patrick, was pleasant and helpful. The drink I ordered (spicy watermelon margarita) was delicious and my burger was excellent. I enjoyed the music playing (90s era). Only one, minor negative comment- the floor by the hostess station when I walked in was a bit sticky. A drink may have spilled & they may not have known so definitely not taking away from my positive review. I’d go back with friends and try some whiskey next time as well. They had a good selection.
They need someone to bus tables!! We couldn’t even get water because they had run out of glasses!!!
We enjoy a good burger in Jax Bch. Always like the convenience, taste & fun atmosphere.
Favorite place for brunch! Great food, drinks, location, and venue.
It was good... we got a lot of appetizers and sides... no complaints really
It was a great place to brunch with my family. Very accommodating to my large party of 10 and everyone absolutely loved their food. The bottomless mimosas were also amazing - definitely worth the $10! I would definitely be coming back.
We chose the Blind Rabbit for the proximity to our hotel, but were so glad we did! The food was good. We shared the Gorgonzola chips and Meatloaf sliders. We each had a cup of the Crab and corn chowder. So good!! We had their pecan old fashioned (can't think of the name) and it was, by far, my favorite drink of the whole trip. Good place for casual dining and feel good food.
Super loud, long wait for food, food was not good, service was bad. Manager was short with us, but agreed to take our bad food off the bill. Our waiter and manger told us our wait and lack of service from the waiter was due to having two twenty count tables, but that doesn't explain the poor food quality. Won't be back to this location.
Sunday brunch takes a long time. Be prepared to wait over an hour for your food.
We had several small plates, all delicious! Service was excellent! And a perfect bourbon list!! Will definitely go again!
Excellent food and the service was superb - a rarity. Can't recall the waitress's name but she was very personable, friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious and our server Patrick was phenomenal
Consistently great food, great whiskey selection. Roof parking.
spinach dip was fantastic !! waitress was nice and patient.
We asked friends to meet us there, knowing it was Christmas time with the local JAX Beach Deck the Chairs display. We all enjoyed our drinks & meal. We know it is a busy place and somewhat loud, but we wanted to be in that location. I would come back soon because I found the appetizer & drinks very enjoyable followed by a tasty blue cheeseburger. I would recommend this for people who like a lively atmosphere in the JAX Bch location. Parking was free & that was an added bonus when it was hard to find spots on the street. Our server was very attentive and offered to bring our main dishes at a good pace after the appetizer of chips. Love those chips.
The Blind Rabbit in Jax Beach is a burger and whiskey bar. If you are going to go there, I would not deviate from that. We tried the following starters : chips with gorgonzola and balsamic which were ok, fried brussel sprouts which were ok and the fried green tomatoes - these were cut too thick and would not recommend. For dinner we had the shrimp and grits - too spicy for my wife- and I had the rib-eye - too much grizzle on the steak for me. If we had stuck with the burgers, I think we would have had a much better dining experience.
Olivia was our server, was very attentive and added a lot to our overall experience.
They were able to accommodate our group of 16 with ease. The service was great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was just what we wanted. This may be a new GA FL Weekend tradition.
The first meal I had was so good I went back the next week. I had the classic cheeseburger and hand cut fries. I was excited they served it on a brioche bun—not as soft and doughey as I was hoping but still good that they thought about the bun being special too. Loved that they had homemade pickles. The lettuce could have had a little more heft and crunch, and maybe could have been a little more generous with tomato, but overall very good burger, worth every calorie. The fries were just what I’d hoped for. THEN...the s’mores milkshake—-handmade marshmallow slightly charred blended into a lightly peanut buttered graham cracker chocolate blended shake...to die for, perfect!
So I returned the next weekend.!the fried green tomato panini (a special) was amazing. The side of Brussels sprouts I had higher expectations for—when you go to a restaurant you expect them to at least be ceramelized and full of flavor. These were basically ho hum, good for nutrutionsl value only. Then the rocky road milk shake...the marshmallows did not taste homemade as before, the almonds were rancid/tasted old, and I was not expecting praline pecans—more of a rocky road true to flavor plain roasted chopped pecans instead. I just ate around the nuts...i was a little sad about it. They really need to freeze or refrigerate their nuts.;)
Based on the first meal only I would have given them five stars. Both times the server girls were excellent—attentive and pleasant.
I have never had a burger as good as the one at the Blind Rabbit. And the zucchini fries were ridiculous. Love this whiskey bar. Always try a whiskey flight. We have found new things to try based off those flights. If you are looking for a special date night go to, this is the spot.
The food is very good. We got our order fast. I would definitely go
This was our first trip to The Blind Rabbit and we liked it. My husband is a bit of a Cheeseburger Snob and wasn't overly impressed with the Cheeseburger (which came out a little undercooked for our taste) but the fries are great and the Deviled Egg appetizer was great. The Kettle Chips with Gorgonzola was good, but the cheese sauce drowned the chips, leaving them mushy..
It must be the noisiest restaurant in Jax, the room is not set up reduce noise at all
the service was slow, even for the drinks drinks
the burgers are good though
The food would have great if they could just stop adding so much salt. Everything we ordered was over salted. Not sure why.
