   Fantastic food and drinks at prices you’d expect for an upper-scale casual restaurant. Great service by our waiter, host, and busser; they were all attentive and thorough without being overbearing. Relaxing lounge-like atmosphere.

   Second time at Blacksmith and it was still amazing. Dawn is the waitress, we’ve had her both times and love her! 10/10 recommend this establishment for food and service!

   Always amazing! Meat is tender and cooked properly, flavorful food, great staff, and ambiance. I just took my mom for the first time, and she loved it! It's worth the somewhat high price, especially for a nice occasion! Side note, I love the bread! They bring warm, soft bread and it's so good that, even though I'm not a fan of herbs in my bread, I fill up on it! The crust isn't hard like at many restaurants either. It comes with a balsamic mix (I believe) dip that I use very lightly, but is tangy and fun

   This was our best dining experience in Bend. It is a nice steak house with plenty of non-red meat options. They also have a split plate option we took advantage of. It allowed us to have the perfect amount of food (we’re not big eaters but do enjoy trying different menu items).

   Great service, lively atmosphere, delicious food. Our server Dawn was knowledgeable and attentive. We were served at a relaxed pace that allowed us to enjoy the amazing salads, steaks, seafood and side dishes along with our wine and friends. Everything was wonderful.

   Nice spot with good parking (not not trying to find a place in downtown Bend). Service was awesome and the food was great. All hand squeezed juice for drinks. Price is high but fair for the quality. We will visit again.

    Loved everything.. confused on how to rate noise… put five but I meant the noise level was fine / perhaps because we had Table #9 … thanks to Jim Peterson’s recommendation. A question about Open Table.. it says often you (and other restaurants) have no more seats or offer either a late or early .. when in fact when I come personally to your restaurant you have space!!!

    Party of 3 for a birthday, which they recognized with a freebie from the kitchen. Excellent service from Derrick and the others. Dessert service was a bit slow but maybe they DID bake the cookies fresh. Our first time back after COVID....and much better all around than 2 years ago.

    A return visit for our 32nd wedding anniversary. Ordered Surf and Turf and Ossobuco. Both were great. cooked to perfection. Good wine list at acceptable prices. We've been 4 or 5 times and I'm sure will be back.

    Blacksmith is a well-established steakhouse in Bend with a good reputation for fine steak. The restaurant ambience is an old brick building with exposed brick walls, hard floor, and hard ceiling: the resulting noise can smother conversation and distract considerably from the overall dining experience. The menu is diverse and the steak entree i had, a 14 oz ribeye, was well cooked to my request. service was attentive. we did not try dessert, but a wide variety of tempting creations was offered. Cost was a good value. A good place to eat but a strong cautionary note regarding the impact of noise is, unfortunately, warranted. Choose accordingly.

    Halibut was over done and my Caesar salad was heavy on the dressing. I did ask for no croutons, but that wouldn’t have made a difference. Great service, tho!

    Dawn was a phenomenal server! We have enjoyed The Blacksmith for years but it had been a while since we had gone back. The food was scrumptious as usual (we shared the Tomahawk for one) and ordered the bread pudding (oh . . . My . . . Goodness!!). We had plenty of left overs as well. The house made rosemary bread is a delish pre-meal appetizer and makes for extra decadent bread pudding. Dawn made our anniversary extra special with her fun loving personality, friendly demeanor, conversational style, and knowledge of the menu and wines. We will definitely be going back and we'll ask for her every time!

    Went in for dinner with a buddy. Service was outstanding. I was greeted instantly by Derrick who was very kind & welcoming. We both ordered the Blacksmith burger which came out piping hot. It was a very cozy & enjoyable environment. 5 stars is seriously not enough for this restaurant. I highly recommend, & i will be back.

    The tomahawk ribeye specialty with grilled brussel sprouts and bacon was exceptional, which paired beautifully with the 2019 Stag's Leap Artemis cabernet sauvignon. Our server, Derrick, was fantastic; very pleasant evening!

    Lobster bisque was rubbery, had to send it back. Both meals were nothing to write home about. I had the halibut, which was nice but the sides weren't cooked long enough, rice was sort of crunchy. My partner I decided we won't be returning. This was our 4th time there and its just not worth the price point. Brick House, Tumalo Feed and The Range are all better in our opinion.
